Get ready to travel

I cannot see any email confirmation of my global pass and there is nothing in my order overview as well. However, my credit card was charged for this transaction. My trip is in a couple of days and I URGENTLY need the pass in my account or a refund so I can repurchase. This is such a HUGE stress on my trip and a massive inconvenience. PLS HELP!

Allerdings ist die Möglichkeit des Rabattes nicht mehr bei den Vorteilen in der RailPlannerApp angegeben, außerdem hat es auf der Website von Staygenerator nicht mit dem Code Eurail20 geklappt. Habe ich etwas falsch gemacht? Gibt es Änderungen?Danke!

I booked reservations from Paris to Luzern.  It's three legs - Paris to Mulhouse, Mulhouse to Basel, then Basel to Luzern.  When I bought the ticket on Eurail, the reservation on the ticket only said it was to Mulhouse.  However, when I look at the ticket on my eurail account, it says "ready to board" for those last two legs.  Just concerned  my ticket does not reflect all of the way to Luzern.

I am trying to forward plan above training trip applying my Eurorail Pass checking if reservations needed. When I search on Eurorail site eurorail.com it gives me NO train options for Castiglion Fiorentino to Florence and states I need reservations X 2 for Florence to Interlaken West. On the other hand when I search trainline.com it gives me non-seat reservations options for Florence -Interlaken travel. I need to do similar rail plan to return from Interlaken West to Rome Fiumicino Airport 16/7/23 (not Tuscany this way) How can I plan with Eurorail's search result here? Advice needed please as to whether I need to  apply Reservations (or not) against the 7 day Eurorail Pass I have purchased.Thank you

Hi everybody, I plan to start my interrail from Lyon (France). I have a connection at Mulhouse (France) and then Basel (Switzerland), where I want to take the Euronight train to go to Praha (Czech Republic). The departure from Basel is at 9.15 pm. The thing is I don’t see where I can book a couchette (sleeper place) for this train online. And I do not want to arrive at Basel and to have to spend the whole night in a classic seat. Anyone had the same issue ? Many thanks in advance for your help ! 

I am from Japan and currently studying English in Malta. I have a Student visa from 5th of Jan 2023 to 20th of June 2023. Before my student visa is expired, I am planning to travel.Could I know which pass I should buy?  Eurail Pass OR Interrail pass? 

Hi. We are newbie travellers at 63 & 64 yrs of age. We have purchased a Eurail pass- already regretting this. We wanted to travel direct from London to Amsterdam on the Eurostar. No seats were available so I booked the trip with a change of trains at Brussels to an Intercity train. Do we need to book this and is it included in the Eurail pass ? Can anyone give us advice please? 

Hello, I would like to go to Lauterbrunnen tommorrow, I will go from Remscheid and I check from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen (Not in Pass network), it means I have to buy a separate ticket?!There are also from Remshied to Paris, again (some Not in Pass network). I really disapponted when get the ad that eurail can be used in 33 countries, the fact I have to buy additional ticket... 

Specifically I’m looking at the Katowice to Vienna (Wien) international route. This is one of the routes that is subject to “Oferta Super Promo International” - there are PDFs available that show this pricing applies to most, if not all international rail routes into Poland. It seems this was started in early 2022.Normally on the PKP/Intercity booking site https://www.intercity.pl/en/ , when booking a domestic train you can select a Eurail “reservation only” from the Discount/reservation type dropdown list on the selected train. No problems, it works as far as I’m aware.If I select almost any train a few days ahead from Katowice to Wien Hbf on the PKP/Intercity website, there is no option to select Eurail, I just get the message that it’s a special offer with a tick-box that cannot be deselected. I need to reserve two months ahead and cannot see any way around this.Polrail say they can reserve a seat, but their pricing to buy a full ticket on this route bears no relation to the PKP pub

Hi, my wife and I will be Eurailing in Germany, Italy, and Switzerland in mid-May. From what I read, I don’t trust the Eurail mobile site/app to make seat reservations. Can that be done by, say, the German Rail site and do I need to input that info into the mobile pass? I don’t plan on activating the pass until we get to Frankfurt airport. Secondly, I won’t have a SIM card for the first couple of days so how can a conductor read a QR code. I’m beginning to regret buying the mobile version. Scott

If the statement ‘no seat reservation required’ comes up, but you would still like to reserve seats, how do you go about that? I have tried a number of options, but can’t seem to access the opportunity to reserve seats unless it is recommended. I have tried on both the mobile app and the website.  (We have mobile Eurail Passes.) Thanks in advance for your help.

I live in the UK. I have a global pass to start with Eurostar trip from London to Brussels in 2 weeks.  I booked seat reservations through Interrail app.  I want to change the date by two days.  Can I do that without charge still using my first free trip leaving the UK?  How do I do that?

Does the 7 days travel within 1 month have a outbound and inbound ticket for my own country? 

Hi everyone, I have an interail global pass and am wanting to book a couple of seat reservations on longer journeys.  One journey is the 8.28am Wien HBF to Munich on 28 July and the other is Buchloe 9.36am to Zurich Hb on 1st August.It looks like it’s 9euros to use DB for reservations or 12euros to use OBB - am I doing it correct? (it’s for 2 adults and 2 kids) I’ve booked the DB one already (seat reservation only) from Buchloe to Zurich. I didn’t need to enter anywhere that I have an interrail pass - is this right? Juat thought I’d check before I make the reservation for the Wien to Munich train using DB. Thanks in advance!

Hi! My friend and I are flying from the Netherlands to Rome. From Rome we want to travel by train with an interrailpass. The route is: Rome-La Spezia- Milan- Paris- Amsterdam. We already are in Rome then, does that mean we need a pass for 4 days in 1 month? 

Hi There,All advice  appreciated- I’m a first timer!  I bought 2 x global mobile passes for my daughter and I & we loaded them on our respective phones. I haven’t activated either yet. I’m doing all the bookings, but how do i do them for both of us if her pass is on her phone? Can I add her pass back to my phone if the purchase of both passes was made by me?  Thank you in advance  

I'm trying to figure out how the eurorail system works. We are getting a month unlimited pass and I'm seeing that some people are talking about making reservations. Does that still apply to me? Can l night travel with my first class without a reservation?  Thank you

We are two seniors from Canada who will arrive in Southampton on September 8 (after completing a cruise) and wish go from Southampton (presumably via London) to Paris on the same day.  We can depart Southampton by 9 AM.  After getting to Paris and spending a couple of days, we wish to train from Paris on September 11 and go to Luxemburg.  Then, after a river cruise, we wish to go from Basel to Lucerne on September 19 and then, the next day on September 20 from Lucerne to Zurich.  We do recognize that, after purchasing the pass, we need to separately purchase reservations.  Are there agents who can do all this for us?  Any assistance would be appreciated. Ross and Maureen

Hello,I just booked a Paper Ticket (I need the ticket for a trip which will start at 1 April 2023). During the Payment Process the estimated delivery dated showed “28 March 2023” which would have been close, but probably fine. However, at checkout the estimated date of delivery had postponed to 7 April 2023 (which would render the ticket useless for me). Of course, at checkout it is too late to change anything.Most important Question: How can I proceed from here? In order to use the mobile pass I would have to buy a new Smartphone (mine doesn’t support iOS 13). The Paper Ticket will probably be late. Moreover, I probably cannot return the Paper Ticket in Time, because I will not be at home then. Is there any other way to obtain and use a ticket in time for the journey? Is it still possible to get a full 100% refund for the ticket (for the different estimated of delivery are quite deceptive), not the usual 85% refund?Any help would be highly appreciated!All the best, thomas 

If I purchase 2nd class ticket (mobile pass), can I pay addition for upgrading to 1st class?

Hi, just checking my understanding re a 7 days in a month ticket - if my outbound trip starts with an overnighter and then I complete it with a second leg starting in the morning, does that use up 2 days travel? I expect it does!  Thanks

I have two Interrail passes and made a booking for a Eurostar using the wrong pass.Is there anyway to change the pass number for this reservation? Or is it not necessary?Thanks for your suggestions and help!Sibylle
