My child will be 11 years 11 month when we are planning to start our journey. We are planning to buy 22 days ticket, during our journey she will turn 12 years. Should I book child ticket or youth ticket?  

Hello, my last travel day is the 4.3. and I was planning on taking a night train because I read that it only counts as one day. I sadly can't activate it because it tells me that I need another travel day. I am not switching trains after midnight.  I also already bought the Reservation.Do you know what I can do to make it work?

Hello! I'm representing a choir from Sweden who will travel to Switzerland and Germany for a tour, and if possible we will do this by train! But, as you probably know, there can be some concerns planning for a larger group.  Regarding Interrail-passes and the app. What can I, (as self-appointed reiseleiter), do to make it easier and what do every individual have to do? Can I book all of my companions seat-reservations through my app/mobile?  Can I add destinations/plan the trip in my app/mobile and share it with my companions?Basically, can I do everything in advanced, so my companions just have to bring their mobile pass and show it for the conductor? … also, we’re 18 adults. I am arriving in Paris on the Eurostar from London and need to change to the St. Lazare station to get to Bayeux.  I have one hour between trains.  I read that the St. Lazare station is difficult to find.  Is that plenty of time and can someone let me know the best way to get from one station to the other please?  It looks like they are close but I am uncertain about train travel and want to be the best prepared I can be.  Thanks.

Hello everyone,For this summer im putting together my travel plan. I have a few things that I can’ t seem to figure out regarding the seat reservations on night trains. (FYI I have a 21-day interrail global pass) If I book a train, a night train, from Rotterdam to Zuerich HB it tells me the seats are included. Does this mean that when I activate this ticket, I will be guaranteed to have a seat on the selected train? And what types of seats are these usually? And if reservation is needed/possible, what do you guys recommend. I also want to go from Beograd Centar (Serbia) to Bar (Montenegro). This, again, is a night train. The Eurail website tells me I can buy Serbian tickets at the station. But wouldn’t It be too late to buy tickets if I need to take this night train the same day I get to that particular station?Lastly I am trying to get day train tickets from Zuerich HB to Rome on the 8th of July, but I can’t seem to find any past the 10th of June. Is there a reason for this?If someone

We Fly in to Norway in July and will be travelling for a month.If i buy the interrail pass does this only cover main routes ? We will be using Bodo to Trondheim. Trondheim to Tonsberg Tonberg to Oslo .We will also need to use local trains to go sight seeing and get to our home stays not sure if local rail journeys are included. We may also do the Norway in a Nutshell tour as well. We are mum and teenager.

Essentially, a few of the routes I was planning don't require seat reservations so is there a way to book my place on the train without paying anything additional?

Has anyone bought family passes and children passes not showing in your confirmation? If so, have you exchange the pass following their instructions to buy another pass and then claim for a exchange? Did they refund the fist pass -15 €? When buying the second pass including your child, did the second time did appear in the reservation?

Hiwe would like to travel to Denmark from Freiburg, Germany, to get a ferry there to Norway.It is possible to take the ÖBB Nightjet from Freiburg to Duisburg (starts 00:05) and then from Duisburg on another trains to cross the border as an outbound Traveldays? Someone said, this is not possible for people living in Germany, because the Nightjet is an Austrian train and does not cross the border to Denmark. It only would be possible to take the Night IC (which is actually the same train, but the German part with no cabins) to do this part as an outbound travel. Is this correct?And, in case it is incorrect, where could I buy the tickets for the NJ then, online?Gerne auch Antworten in Deutsch.Viele Grüße aus Freiburg.

Hello,Ok got the 2 months global pass last year and Need to use it before this June ..we are traveling with kids for a first time in Italian Night train to Palermo .. (CABINA COMFORT PROMISCUO)  Could you please share your experience with this .. I hope it is clean as they charge 172 for 4 persons .. 1) Is it a private or shared one ?  Can we lock this in the night ?is it safer as my Italian friends were looking at me strangely when Said train trip to Palermo ..But, I booked the ticket and wanna experience  if you have anything to share that a family needs to take care in particular…thanks for your inputs

Hi allWe want to travel Athens to Patra April 5th. We have Global pass (2 month 1st class)We know its a train from Athens to Kiato then Bus connection from Kiato to Patras.Both Interrail app and Hellanic train website state seat reservation is compulsory for bus section.We believe as this is a train-related bus transfer, the bus section should be free using our interrail passThere appears to be no Online method of making this seat reservation without paying.Is the ONLY way to make this seat reservation to go in person to the train station in Athens?Thank you

Buenas,Estoy organizando un viaje con mi novio, en principio queremos coger el pase de 7 dias gastando uno en la ida y otro en la vuelta.El viaje de ida queremos hacer Madrid-Berlin, el problema es que el ultimo tren que deberiamos de coger es a las 23:30 antes de llegar a Berlin.Mi pregunta es la siguiente, si se pasa de día por algún retraso de los anteriores trenes, ¿Nos contaría como otro pase diferente?Espero haber sido clara, sino, podéis preguntar sin problema :)

Hi all,I’m looking for a reservation Paris-Barcelona this July. I read that reservations for TGV can only be made 3 months before. However since the route Paris-Barcelona is available already, I wonder if I could already make reservations.I have no ticket yet to check, but would book it if I’m sure I ould make reservations.
