Get ready to travel

When I search for a train station in the railplanner app to add a journey to my mobile pass, the search doesn't give me any results of trainstations I could add. I didn't do that at the beginning of my journey. And now I'm stuck and can't add any more journeys.Has anyone any ideas what I could do?I also have no results if I choose only one train station that is in the list of already searched stations to show me the connections from there. Please help me out! Thank you so much! 

Hey, i purchased as many of us a ticket during the promo offer: a 2 months global pass with mobile pass.Now i have two questions, i found similar threads but I want to be really sure I get things right and dont mess anything up so my pass is not valid. I found similar threads but sometimes I didnt know if I got the answer right.. My pass is valid until 10th of April (activation period), so if I understand right, it doesnt mean I have to start my travel until 10th? I just have to activate it before, means i have to decide for a travel date, so i could also start for example End of April (unless i activated and chose the travel date before 10th April)? Its very important to know for me so I dont get things wrong, because I would ideally start a bit later in April if its possible. If i e.g. start my travel at 25th April and then i travel for 3 weeks. And then i come back to germany and end my first trip. Am I allowed to use the pass nevertheless later if I start not in my home country? As

I want to go from Luleå to Rovaniemi.I’m thinking route Luleå → Haparanda (by bus)Haparanda → Kemi (by bus)Kemi → Rovaniemi (by train) I have a Eurail Global Pass.I think I can use the Eurail Pass from Kemi to Rovaniemi, but is it possible to use the Eurail Pass benefits on buses?I read an article that there are special benefits for buses from Luleå to Rovaniemi and Haparanda to Kemi, but I can't find the details, so please let me know.

Hello and good day to you.  I will be visiting Europe in June 2023.  I would like to know how many days pass I need to get.  There are 5 of us in the group including one youth.  I will be in Germany on June 28, 2023 and have to be in Amsterdam on July 6 to start a tour that last until July 19, and it ends in Paris.  We have until July 26 to get back to Frankfurt for our trip back the USA.  I plan to rent a van when we get in on June 28 for the first week then go back to Frankfurt to return the can then take the train to Amsterdam. I may need 10 to 11 days for trains and we would like the first class.  Please let me know, thank you.

My wife and I are trying to reserve seats for a train on Thursday 6th October, however when we add the reservation to the cart, it says the booking is for Friday 7th October.  We are booking from Australia. Which date should we select to make sure that we are on the train on Thursday 6th is October local time?

I will be traveling with my wife and two children this Summer.  What is the best way to handle tickets/passes?  I have the Rail Planner app on my phone and passes for each person.  It seems like I need to create one trip per pass? Also, is a “trip” one train ride or can the entire three week visit be a “trip”? Thank you.

Hi, just wondering how far in advance the trains are planned and how set in stone it is? For example, I’m looking at going from Interlaken at about 8am to Milan from 11am - 3pm and then off to Rome after that on the same day (about 4 hours on each train if you book in May), but it will not show this same thing when looking at the dates in late June and July. Sometimes it does not come up at all, other times it may say 13 hours? Does anyone know why this is? Will this route not be available if I travel in summer?

hi there, I have purchased the flexi 5 day global pass. My route is London - Paris - Lyon - Sion - Venice - FlorenceMy question is, although i got a global pass for visiting different countries, 2/5 trips will be inter country (Paris - Lyon & Venice - Florence) does this still take up my travel day?

Hi Rookie here from NZThank you in advance for your time.I’ve bought 4 passes 1 adult, 1 senior 2 x youth.  Youth are 16 and 13.  Is it better to have all 4 passes on my device? If husband puts pass / app on his device how do I share the bookings with him? Likewise with the teenagers?  Would you also have the teenagers have the passes on their phones  or on my phone?  Is there a way he doesn’t have to sit and input all the journeys too? Also if I have the passes on different devices how do I make sure we are all sat together when I book seat reservations.   Finally do stations have ticket security barriers? How does this work if we are all on one device?  Is there a separate gate we need to go to?   I appreciate your advice.  Thanks from a Kiwi

I accidentally booked tickets on Eurostar from London to Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam. I can’t change without cancelling the non refundable tickets and can’t seem to add a destination online by managing booking (noting the train stops in Rotterdam). Is it possible to just stay on the train for another stop? Can I amend it on the day?

My wife & I will be travelling to Europe around 17 days and was choosing between Eurail Global pass and Swiss travel pass.Schedule:Arrive in London end of Apr, 1 day in London 2 days in Paris 2 days in Lucerne, 2nd day Lake Lucerne Boat Trip to Mt Rigi 3 days in Interlaken, 2nd day to Grindelwald and 3rd day to Lauterbraunnen 2 days in Zermatt, 2nd day taking Gornergrat Railway to see Matterhorn 4 days in Florence (will have to pass through Milan via train from Zermatt), 2nd day to Cinque Terre and 3rd take to Tuscany via tour  Back to Milan for 2 days Appreciate any advice and factors that we need to consider. Hello everyoneI am French and have a global pass to travel to the UK.I plan to use my outbound journey like this : from Paris to London and London to Liverpool. But Eurostar trains are opened for reservation 6 months in advance and I would like to make a reservation now for my Paris London, and I would like to make the reservation for London Liverpool later (it’s not possible now). Can the outbound journey with several trains  can be reserved in several times?The same question apply for the inbound journey: I want to do a Edinburg => London => Paris => Toulouse the same day. Can I book now my train London => Paris and book my Paris Toulouse later and that all of this is counted once on my inbound trip?Thank you!

Hello! I bought an interrail Global Pass Promo Youth on 11th of MAY 2022.I know that i must activate the pass by the 11th of APRIL 2023, but do I also have to START MY TRIP?Am I "obliged" to travel up to the 11th of MAY 2023 or can I travel beyond?Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,I’m planning for my last day of my Interail Global Pass to go from Copenhagen to Paris next June.The best trip I found out is leaving Copenhagen at 6:56 with 3 short transfers:One in Fredericia st. : 7 minutes One in Hamburg Hbf : 19 minutes One in Mannheim Hbf : 11 minutes to get the TGV at 17:38 (I have a booking)My question is: in case I would miss the last connection in Mannheim, because of train delays, can I take the following ICE train at 19:40 without reservation? It is important for me to know as it will my last pass day. Do you think that this trip, although officialy proposed by DB on their website, with short connections is unrealistic? Thank you for your advices

I have my app on my phone all set up and ready to activate closer to the date of travel. I have added my proposed journeys into My Trip and booked and printed seat reservations where they are needed.My question is I can’t see the grey switch to toggle when I want to add the journey to my pass. Will this only appear once I have activated my pass?Am I right that on the day of travel I flick the toggle switch to yellow to generate the QR code for all journeys on that particular day?Thank you in advance for your answers! As an older lady it is sometimes difficult to get your head around this stuff!

Hello, I would like to make sure I understand the Interrail day system ! I've drawn a trip I'd like to make and the calculator predicts 8 days of travel. I live in Clermont Ferrand, so I would only take the train 7 times to get home when I read the map. Why does the system advise me a minimum of 8 days ?Best,

Dear mermbers, While trying to make a reservation from Berlin to copenhagen with Seat only (no ticket), in DB Bahn site, it mention the following information.Could you please tell me know what does it mean ? Is EURAIL not concerned and cannot make reservation ?......................quotation ................…What important things should I know about seat reservations?When is a reservation included in my ticket free of charge? Integrated seat reservation cannot be provided for offers that are not based on a timetable (e.g. RIT or Rail&Fly, Good for Train, Interrail, Eurail, etc.).ICE Sprinter and night train services are also not included. ...........End....................… Thank you
