Get ready to travel

Hi! So I’m traveling in mid-april to Europe and I have an Eurail pass. The thing is, I incorrectly made reservations for a train leaving on 2/26 (didn’t check the date correctly, silly me). My question is, will a ticket reservation activate my Eurail pass? Or does that incorrect reservation simply gets lost in limbo, and I continue as usual with my (now correct) train reservation for mid-April?

Confused about the use of trips. I have a  2 month pass and have created a trip which I intend to share with my wife. However, I intend to make another shorter trip independently; the app has a + feature for multiple trips, but will not allow me to connect the new trip to my pass ( only option is connect to paper pass?). What is going on? Can I create and connect multiple trips in app or not?

Hi, i‘d like to take a trip to London. Now there are 2 posible Trains from Paris to London. If we get the first one, it would be fabulous, because the second would be very stressful to get our appointment in London. Now is there a option to do a seat reservation in both of the Trains, and get the one unneeded canceled?Thanks for respond.

Hi there,Does anyone know if there’s some quirk with the booking engine for booking EN trains?Last night I mapped out options on oebb.at for every possible destination (NJ & EN) from Zurich for a particular weekend (28th or 29th or 30th April) yesterday and later in the night agreed the plans with the others who are traveling.Tonight I went to book Zurich-Zagreb and it shows no availability at all for any of the 3 days.  Yesterday it showed availability for all.  Sleepers & couchettes for 29th & 30th and seats only for 28th.I know it’s possible that they all suddenly sold out in theory, but in practice it’s not exactly likely that there was a sudden rush for this particular train, for all of these days, in less than 24 hours.Is there some quirk like seats being taken back off the market and then being put back on?  Or is there some other explanation for this?Thanks,David

Hi Everyone, My name is Maddy and I am 24 years old. I have been looking to travel for a few years now but with a diagnosis of ADHD and Autism I worry about sensory and information overload. I have travelled with friends before and have been fine but that has been a more static holiday, so no travelling abroad other than on foot or to and from the airport.  I was wondering if anyone had any advice or tips on how to make the experience as smooth as possible? Are the Nordland trains included in the pass, Trondheim Bodo?

Hi everyone! I am trying to buy a ticket from Bucharest to Sofia (and also Sofia to Istanbul afterwards), both for me (with a Eurail global pass) and my son (who doesn’t have one). I’ve seen a couple of other people here trying to work out how to buy these tickets online, but they don’t seem to be available from the main national rail websites. Since we are on a fairly tight schedule, and need to book accomm. etc in advance (and not have any probs with full trains etc), we really want to try and book in advance. So the question is: did anyone manage to do this, and if so -- how? Any experiences or feedback gratefully recieved...the trip is for April (7-10) btw, and I would be happy to just book the tix without the Eurail pass if that’s easier. Thank you :)

Hi there we are travelling to Europe in April/May 2023 from Australia for our Honeymoon which was postponed from 2020. We have a 1st Class Eurail Pass and I am having trouble booking seat reservations for the following journeys: (IC143) Amsterdam Centraal - Berlin Hbf / 9:10 - 15:25 on 20/4/2023(EC360) Prague Hlavni Nadrazi - Munich Hbf / 7:43 - 13:18 on 28/4/2023 For the IC143 train, it allows me to get to the review page however states that it the journey is no longer available, this is also the case on the Bahn website and other times and dates. The EC360 train does not allow me to book seat reservations on any day, this is also the case on the Bahn website.Is anyone else having the same issues? Or am I attempting to book to early, I had no problems booking Berlin to Prague on the 26th of April.

I’m trying to book a train reservation with my Eurail passes from Paris to Zurich on 5 July 2023.I can see the alternatives, it says I need a seat reservation, I’m happy to pay an extra fee, but I cant put the journey in the cart?

For some reason, a train from Amsterdam to Munich via Frankfurt (ICE 123), doesn't appear to be included in our travel pass, why would this be please? (Sunday 06.08.23 - 10:38am)

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before. I’ve looked around but can’t seem to find any existing question that fits.I made a few reservations on Trenitalia for April through Eurail’s reservation booking system as part of a much larger trip, for myself and a friend. Unfortunately, on two of the legs of our journey, the seats assigned to my friend and I seem to be less than optimal - 2C and 2A. Looking at the seatmap on Trenitalia’s website, we seem to be across the aisle, facing different directions, and one of us is seated at a table for 4.From what I’ve seen, Trenitalia seems to be one of the more temperamental operators when it comes to reservations, so I wasn’t terribly surprised.Since these trips are 3 and 4 hours each, I’m not keen on hoping to be able to just swap seats with someone else on-board (especially with one of ours being at a table for four). Good Morning,I’m Lorenzo and I’m Italian… I’ve never traveled with Interrail and It miss me too much…Next summer I’d like to do some Interrail among the Greek Islands, but I’m still far to understand how the one country pass works…In particular I can’t understand if the 1st Class of the Greek Islands Pass “6days within 1month” may cover the trip between Italy and Greece for an Italian traveler.Thansk in advance.Lorenzo

I am getting below error while booking the reservations at the last page ....i tried doing it for other trains as well however getting the same error. Can you please get this resolved as soon as possible  

I’m looking into booking my interrail pass for next year and as I’ve never done it before I’m not sure wether to buy a first or second class pass. Are their any major differences between the two and is paying the extra money for first class worth it?
