Get ready to travel

I reserved seats and tryed online booking, but they told me I was unable to receive the ticket before the date of departure. So I guess offline booking at the station is my only option now. I would like to know if my reservations are safe till I pay at the station on the date of daparture.

What does 1 month mean? For ex. only in the month of August or from 20 August until 20 September? 

Hi,I have no seen a proper answer to my question. When a train says "reservation required" what does it exactly mean?Can I get the train without reservation and see if there is an empty seat? Or if the train is fully can I still take the train and stand in the wagon? Sorry but it's not clear at all what that really means. Because I've seen trains that specified "reservation required" and are not fully booked at all so in fact if you have the eurail pass you don't need the reservation because there are many empty seats.Do we really really need to do a reservation when it says "reservation required" or just qe need to select the train and show the QR code?I've two examples.1. London to Paris2. Paris to strasbourg (I know there are trains that has no sitting required specifications)Thank you in advance people.

We would like to do a day trip from Vienna to Bratislava with my first class interrail pass. I can see that no reservation is needed from Vienna to Bratislava. Is it also the case that we do not need a reservation to go from Bratislava to Vienna? This is probably a silly question but I’d like to be sure.

Hi I received the email for the delivery of the tickets, unfortunately itsays by 2/06 but as you can see the trip is indicated for March. Is itpossible to have either an email that allows us to make the trip or anadvance shipment of tickets?

Hi all, Recently I’ve bought the global pass to travel between London, Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam. It was nice buying the pass and through the app, I’ve selected the timing that’s desired and saved it. However, it stated that seats reservations are required but I’m not able to buy the seats reservations in the app. So i’ve headed over to Eurail website to try and book the seats reservations. But I couldn’t find the timing that i wanted on the website and when i choose another timing from the website and head back to the app, i can’t find the timing. So if i want the seats reservations, i’ve to book from the website but if i do, i can’t show the QR code as it’s a mobile pass and i can’t find the same timing on the web and the app.  Will appreciate if someone can tell me: Can i make my seats reservations only on the website? What happens if i can’t select the same timing on my app as the website as i’ll need the QR code to scan on the app so i assume that app timing and web timing shou

HiCan you still travel by interrail from London via Paris Zurich to Istanbul with a 15-day ticket? And how good is the Belgrade-Sofia connection? ..does this go directly? and in which trains do I have to make reservations? Does the train also stop in Ljubljana? and how about changing money does it all work locally in the respective countries?Thanks in advance if anyone can answer this.Maybe someone has already made this trip. 99% of Stations in Bulgaria do not show on the App Planner. Do you have to book at the Station ticket offices with your Global Pass? Thanks. 

Help for a newbie please :) I am trying to book reservations for our upcoming trip and have got to the 'Place of issue - city' box on the interrail reservation system. On my passport, this is listed as IPS, and my partners says HMPO. I understand this is standard on UK passports. Should we enter this despite it not being a city, or try and find out which office issued them?

If I was to choose the flex ticket would it give me the chance to travel till 2024 (for 30 days when I spread it over the year ) ? Helloi am a UK resident and bought a 3 month Interrail pass. My UK passport is nearly full. I also have an Australian passport. Can I use my UK passport for the Interrail pass and my Australian one at the relevant borders?ThanksMartyn 

Hi,due to the French strike on 19. Jan., the first day of my eurail pass for 4 days are not able to use on any train I have already booked. However, the day has already been activated, and now it’s only 3 day left. I wondering if I can get a extension?

Hello,i won an Interrail Pass this week. In the formula i filled out 3 months ago, i clicked on group pass so i can take my friends with me. How does this work? Can they go with my ticket as well, without paying ??

I will be travelling UK and Europe this coming summer (July 11 - Aug. 23), and I don’t need the pass in the middle of this schedule. I’ll be visiting London - Axminster - Crediton - Birmingham. Then flight Birmingham - Dublin - London, where I’ll spend 5 nights. I need to save money on trains and the tube, so I need some kind of pass during these 17 days.I fly to Geneva, where I don’t need public transport since I will be visiting friends.Finally, I will need a eurail pass for the next leg: Geneva - Paris - Vimy/Courcelette - D Day beaches area - up to Bruges - Amsterdam.I could use some advice about the eurail pass and how to split it up. Would it be cheaper/better to do a Britrail pass in UK and Eurail pass in Europe, or should I split up the Eurail globla pass?Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone couple of questions about seat reservation.  First off due to the strike in France part of my journey tomorrow to Strasbourg was not going to be possible so I booked a reservation on a non stop service.  I am currently in Luxembourg and i dont have access to a printer where I’m staying the interail email says to print ticket.  However the ticket says print or show on mobile device.  My French isn’t very good but I was able to read that I also translated it to make sure.  Will i be allowed to board with my ticket on the phone or do i need to try and find somewhere to print the ticket? Another question im trying to book a ticket through PKP website for Poland and its asking for my pass number it says please indicate the series and number of your ticket and if in doubt check the guide.  Ticket no.  when i look at the guide its showing me a picture of a qr code with a number underneath from what looks like the mobile pass.  I have a paper pass so im confused if its looking for

On January 11, 2023, with a friend in Eurail pass, I took the train 1. from visp to milano centrale (08:33 -> 10:40) and 2. from Milano Centrale to Firenze S.M.N (11:10 -> 13:04). reserved a seat. I want to change the time of the first train and get a refund for the second train. I checked trenitalia's refund policy and they have rules that allow refunds and changes.

If I purchase 1 adult and 3 senior Eurail Global passes, can I manage, schedule, make seat reservations for all four, etc., using the Eurail app?
