Hi All, planning to travel 10 days trip in Europe.If I’m travelling on Schengen visa can I travel on buses and trains to other countries ? is there any immigration check up in each country to cross?if I take euro rail pass is it necessary to book seat reservation if I want to travel around 9 countries? Thanks for your help!

Hello :) I lost my phone unfortunately and my new phone is too old to download the Interrail app. Therefore, I now need a paper pass even though I originally ordered a mobile pass. Where can I change that?

Hi there, I have a global interrail pass and am wondering about my outbound/inbound journeys, where my country of residence is UK.The 5th of April is my outbound/first date of travel.I have a reservation to go from London to Paris on the 5th of April, but I live in Glasgow and so have to book a ticket first from Glasgow to London on the same day.Will both journeys be valid as my outbound travel day, or can only 1 journey be used on the outbound? thanks, hope i haven’t worded that too confusingly?! Peter  

Has anyone with a wheelchair managed to make Interrail/Eurrail work with trains which require reservations? I have sent a help question to the laughable “help” service but I just get replies about accessibility and not about how to actually use the pass. There is an extra complexity regarding reservations, for example the following: Eurostar: When you travel by wheelchair with Eurostar there is a system with a special ticket and then that organises the wheelchair space and the train ramp. They also place wheelchairs in a different class, so if I went onto the app and paid for a reservation in standard class do I then have to contact Eurostar to arrange everything else? I don’t know if my Interrail pass is going to be valid without making a reservation for a seat I won’t be using. Thalys does a similar thing, they usually charge a special fare (but they don't organise the ramp) so again, do I have to go on the Interrail pass and add a reservation (and pay for it) and then do something e

Hi All,Sorry in advance, probably my questions below have all been answered somewhere else in the forum, but I just can’t find the answers I’m looking for.I have a mobile Flexi pass which I intend to use in Italy, France, Austria and Germany. However, I do not quite seem to get it: I have all my possible routes and train times added to the individual days in my trips.  I learned from here in the forum to activate each day just before getting on the first train.My questions:-Do I get QR Codes for each individual leg or is there just one code for the whole day covering all the legs (which means do I have to activate all trips of the day in one go?) -or, can I activate one leg after the other during that day and can I add another, unplanned leg on that same day and activate it? -Do I have to stick exactly to the train times or can I take any train, if it is just the same route? (all provided I don’t need a reservation) -Reservations seem to be complicated. If I change from a non reservati

I’d like to travel to Naples from Trieste. The best route is via Venice, and this shows up on the trenitalia website for the date I want but not on the eurail booking app. It does show up on the app for other days (same day of the week as I want to travel available in other weeks) so must be a valid route and definitely seems to be running and bookable on trenitalia so I don’t really understand the discrepancy. It’s march 29th we’re looking at so quite far ahead. Any explanations/advice welcome!

Hello! I'm about to have my first experience using interrail and I’m super excited.I’m currently planning my trip from Amsterdam to Florence and I would like to take a nighttrain. On the reservation planner on the Eurail website the price for a reservation from Amsterdam to Zurich will cost €36. On the NSInternational (Dutch Railway) website it shows a ticket for the same train will cost €39 with an additional €4 for a seat reservation.Why is the price almost the same? Because on the NS International doesn't know about my interrail ticket… 

Hello, We are in the middle of our trip but unable to generate tickets on the pass for our journey tomorrow morning. We’re a bit panicked and hope the forum can help. We have successfully generated four journey tickets already without any problems. We’re hoping the issue is because we are trying to generate the ticket the night before rather than just before the train. We could see the journey on the planner and it was saved to Mytrips but not being added on to our passes to show tickets. Any ideas  from the forum as to why this is happening, would be very helpful as we don’t want to spend 85 euros to buy tickets to go from Tirano to Luzern tomorrow morning. We eagerly await your response. Many thanks, Rita & Shirley 

Bonjour, Je me permets de vous contacter suite à l’impossibilité de réserver une place assise dans mon train Budapest-Krakow du 6/04/2023 à 19h29. Effectivement, j’ai sélectionné ce train pour mon interrail dans l’application associée, j’ai le QR code du train dans mon dossier de voyage mais je ne peux pas réserver de place assise… J’ai essayé sur le site interrail mais aussi sur celui de ÖBB et il est marqué que les places assises ne sont pas disponibles… Je ne comprends donc pas trop pourquoi je peux réserver le train mais pas réserver de place assise alors qu’elle est notée obligatoire. Dois-je réserver cette place assise en gare? Ou bien dois-je la réserver plus tard dans le mois? Est-ce que j’ai la possibilité de prendre un train direct entre Budapest et Cracovie étant donné que je ne peux pas aussi réserver de place assise pour l’autre train direct de la journée? Hi liebe Community, ich bin letztes Jahr schon mit Intervall gereist, doch für dieses Jahr wollte ich etwas anderes planen. Meine Frage: Das 22 Tage Ticket. Umfasst dieses reisen an 22 Tagen nacheinander oder kann ich dieses Ticket nutzen um über das gesamte Jahr die einzelnen Reisen zu verteilen? Grüße

I bought a 10 day in 2 month Eurail pass for use in December and January. I used 3 days of this in Europe fine then came to UK. With the frequent rail strikes (there have been more strike days than non-strike days over the past three weeks!) I have not been able to use the pass for my travels. Instead I have ended up buying bus or flight tickets.Is there any way to do anything about this with Eurail? Perhaps refund the unused days, or extend the pass somehow. I will be able to use perhaps two more days of the pass, but it will end with several unused days just because of the strikes. I suspect I won’t be able to do anything (claiming “delay” compensation is not relevant as it simply stopped travel, not delayed it!), but perhaps there is something I can’t think of!

I want to know how to change the id number of eurail global pass because my passport was expired, and I will get a new id number when I update my passport ,thanks for answering my question!

Hello! I’ll be traveling in Scandinavia soon with my 2nd class Interrail pass, and will take multiple long-distance trains. As such, together with the EnTur agency, I booked seat reservations for journeys like Trondheim - Bodø and Oslo - Bergen. However, both trains have no 1st class, but a premium class. EnTur told me that I can pay a seat upgrade to sit in premium with my 2nd class ticket. For both tickets I had to pay €30 & €20 extra for the ‘upgrades’. However, now after reading some posts in here, i’m a bit doubting if this is actually possible. Will I be fined, since I have no 1st class Interrail ticket?

We are 3 people with 3 global mobile passes, bought in the same order. We are currently planning our trip. We will not be together all the time but I am doing the admin. For ease of planning the passes are currently all on one device under one trip but there will be times when we want to travel separately and each have our own pass on our own phone. Can I make the necessary reservations for all 3 travellers on my device and then transfer/send 2 passes (with reservations) to other devices? If so, how? The passes have not been activated. Thanks in advance for your help.

We wish to buy 2 x senior Global Interrail passes to be used in 2023. The quoted price is €464 for 4 unlimited travel days in Europe. If we buy them now can we use them anytime in 2023?

I purchased a ticket from Barcelona to Geneva, Switzerland and had to make two reservations online. The ticket shows that it ends at Valence TGV, France. What do I do to get from Valence to Geneva?Thank You 

Hi, I need some clarification. A few months ago I received an email asking me through a survey when I would intend to travel with the pass, I selected February 2023. A little while ago I connected my trip to the pass, it then asked me to select the date on which I wanted to leave , but it only let me select dates in January. How do I select a date in February as the expected departure date (since mine is flexible)? Thank you very much and good evening.

Hello, I’ve noticed that seat reservations in Spain can’t be done online but I have another question about that… when I saw that I could do the reservation  in a spanish train station it appeared that it only works in some days… Could anyone explain that to me?

I have eurail global pass.and I booked nightjet which  directly goes to Venice from wien throngh obb website.I paid resevertion fee which is discounted for eurail pass holder.My eurail pass is flexible one,so I need to register travel  day.Rail planner app says there is not direct train to Venice.how can I register travel day as 1 day？　or is it going to2 days?
