If I travel by ship (for example Viking Line from Helsinki to Stockholm), is this a travel day (if I have a flexipass with 10 travel days within 2 months)? Because a ship is not a train. And if I want to use the discounts that I can use (for example in cafe's etc) if I have the pass, can I use them only during the travel days (10 days) or during the whole 2 months?

Hey! I am travelling with my husband and 2 kids at the end of March on a 1 month global pass. We can only get 3 weeks off work but are hoping to cram in as much as possible. I did a mini Interrail trip 30 years ago! I realise this time will be a very different experience! We are hoping to cover the following itinerary in the 3 weeks :Glasgow to London, London to Bruges.Bruges to ViennaVienna to Zell am SeeZell am See back to ViennaVienna to KrakowKrakow to PraguePrague to BerlinBerlin to HamburgHamburg to CopenhagenCopenhagen to GothenbergGothenberg to OsloOslo to BergenBergen to Oslo airport for flight home   is this too much??? 

Do you only take a day off your 5 or 10 day allowance when you are travelling?ie You don’t have to use 5 days after your first journey to use the pass, you can stay in a city a couple of days without eating into your allowance, and travel later?

i have purchased Eurail Global Pass (first Class)… Why i need to pay for seat reservation by having the global pass...

Hi, I'm booked on a outbound journey on the Eurostar from my home country UK and I'm using a paper pass (global) and will be filling out the journeys on the paper pass and not on the app.  Just a quick question and I'm sorry if this has been asked or is obvious to everyone else but I can’t seem to get my head around it.   When I'm filling out the journey there is a section to record inbound and outbound journeys where I record the date etc I'm doing this journey do I also write this on journey record part of my ticket where i fill out the other journeys that I am making.  Thanks so much for the help on this and sorry if it seems like a stupid question.

Hello,I have booked 2 Global interrail 4 day passes for 1 month, but the service provided is not at all what I expected.Indeed, several routes are not available and no alternative is proposed, although they were available in the train search engine on the website before purchasing the pass.No solution for the following routes:- February 13: Copenhagen -> Goteborg (initially present in the search engine for departure at 9:27 am and arrival at 1:20 pm)No possibility either through the website of the train company: www.sj.se- February 15: Oslo -> Bodo (initially present in the search engine for departure 14h02 and arrival 9h05 the next dayAt no time is it mentioned before purchasing the pass that we can not book at all the routes proposed in the search engine.Moreover, all these routes are available on the websites of the companies concerned. How is it not possible to book them on interrail website?Is there a way to book these routes listed on the site but marked "unavailable"?If no

Hi !I would like to book 2 tickets to travel from Copenhague to Oslo on february 13th (with a change at Goteborg).On interrail website it is impossible to book seats, but I found a possibility to book on sj.seHowever there are additional fees while it’s not mentioned on interrail portail (see picture above where it’s mentionned “included”) :  Do you have recommandations for this kind of trips ?Is it better not to book anything or should I pay the extra 1064 SEK (see picture above, I have made a simulation with interrail pass information on sj.se) ?Is there any other way to book seats on those 2 trains without paying extra fees ? Thank you for your help :)

Hi I was thinking of buying an Eurail Global Pass (Youth) to travel around Spain from May-June. May I know if I am allowed to opt for bed/sleeping cabins for overnight trains? Do I have to pay extra on top of the pass that I bought?  How may I go about reserving the bed? Thank you!

HI everyone,I am taking my kids to Europe this summer and am trying to figure out whether to get the 10 day or 15 day pass.  We will be starting in Spain and heading north. We plan to stay in Madrid for 8 days, and I would like to take day trips to some of the nearby smaller towns. I’m wondering, in your experience, whether it would be better to buy the 15 day pass and use those extra days for those day trips or if I should just buy the local fares and stick to the 10 day pass.  Everywhere else we travel, we will be with family or friends so train travel is only needed to get us to those next destinations, not travel in and around the other cities.Thanks so much for your help!

I purchased the Eurail Pass and requested a refund, and in the meantime, I purchased a Eurostar ticket. Can I use Eurostar tickets in this case?

I’ll be visiting 5 cities in March. When planning my trip on the Eurail site, I said that there will be 4 travel days. When selecting the pass, it suggested that I may not have enough travel days planned, and suggested I get a 5 day pass. I’m a little confused...does it not take into account that the city in which you start from does not need to be traveled to? I arrive there on a plane…Or is it suggesting a 5th travel day in case Things Go Wrong?

Hi,Besides the higher refund when you want to cancel the pass, are there any other benefits for the PLUS option? I.e. cancellation of trips just before planned travel or is this just the same as the ordinary pass? Geraldo

Can I use the 5 days whenever I want within the chosen month or do I have to use the  5 days sequentially.I noticed that for a global pass consecutive use is not required but I couldn't find the answer for the one country  passes.Thanks,Threes

Hi I was just wondering if I could sit at second class with first class ticket,cause my friends are second and I bought first for the luggage holding,and I want to sit with them

After much research into mobile paper vs. paper pass, I am leaning towards getting a paper pass just for simplicity’s sake and ease of use. However, I am still confused as to how I would make reservations on train in France for example WITHOUT buying an entire ticket from the native train company in order to get a seat reserved. Is it possible to make a reservation through the eurail.com website WITHOUT a mobile pass even if you own a paper pass?The situation I’m in is I’m from Canada and will be flying to France sometime soon but I dont know how to make a reservation on the TGV trains in advance if I had a paper pass. I assume showing up to the station one day early would make my chance of getting a seat reservation quite slim, but if I can't purchase a reservation in advance (ie on the eurail app or website), I might be in a bit of a pickle. Thanks for any help!

What’s the difference between both passes/the sites that they’re being sold on? One pas from ‘my interrail.co.Uk’ is £189 whereas the other from ‘interail.eu’ is €226/£199. I know it’s only £10 difference but just checking that both would be valid. As I’m from the Uk should I be using the one from interrail eu? 

Hey guys so I have already contacted customer service on the issue and they are taking a while to respond which is a little nerve wracking. If worse comes to worse...will it actually be an issue to have the wrong birthday when it’s time to travel?
