Hi All, If I am buying a eurail global pass, every trip that I can found at the rail planner apps is means that I can take the train? For example, I am planning a trip to Amsterdam, can I take Amsterdam Centraal to Zaandijik Zaanse Schans without paying extra cost to visit? Or, London St Pancras to Canterbury West also include in the eurail global pass?

However I have not used the pass yesterday while it is counting as travel day 

Hi , unfortunately I lost my device tonight and I installed the app on new device but when I wanted to add the pass on my new device, the massage appears that the code has been installed on device already , kindly help me as I haves only booked train tickets to Paris and I have 4 more tickets left .   thank you regards

Hello. We are looking at buying a 7 days/1 month global pass. The eurostar will be part of our trip. I understand you should book this as early as possible and can do so up to 180 days in advance. If we reserve our seats at the earliest possible time (180 days before travel), will that start our 1 month time limit? Or will the pass start when we actually take our journey on the eurostar itself? Many thanks. 

Hi everyone, I have some quick questions concerning the OBB Nightjet linking Brussels to Vienna.I’m a scout groupe leader and we’re going on a camp next summer (July 2023). We were planning on taking an Interrail pass for the whole groupe because we want to travel all by train. (let me know if any of you already took that train)Our first train would be the Brussels to Vienna nightjet and I can’t find some usefulll information.  First of all, how much does this journey coust with an interrail pass ? I found some people saying it costs only about 30€ and some saying they could’nt get any discount with their pass.   Secondly, I d’ont understand the concept of “private compartment”. It seems like its cheaper to take two private compartments of 3 people than taking a 6bed compartment which seems odd.  Hope anyone can help us for our camp. Have a good day y’all, Basile

Is anyone else going to be affected by next week's rails strikes in the UK?We're travelling home after our time away on Wednesday 4th January,  we booked Eurostar tickets etc in October when strikes were limited and the confirmed date was January 2 & 5th ..…We live in West Wales and the train strikes are now from January 2nd to the 7th ! I'm absolutely beside myself,  getting home is going to now cost us an absolute fortune,  by national express or taxi from london ! 

Hi everyone,I will travelling from London Waterloo to Staines (and vice versa) via South Western Railway. I have checked that the companies included in the Eurail Global pass coverage. However I am wondering if there is any barrier to enter the platform? And if yes, I don't think there is any QR code scanner on the barrier (i might be wrong). What is the best way to pass the barrier?Thank you.

Hello,If I have a pass for 1 month and my mother a pass for 2 months, bought in May, when must we finish our travels by? I understand we have to activate within 11 months (so April 2023), but if we begin our travels in April could my Mum continue travelling into May and past the 11 months? Or must we finish our travel within 12 months of buying the pass?Thank you, Emma

Arrivée à Budapest ou à Vienne, je souhaite aller jusqu'à Athènes mais j'ai essayé toutes les possibilités (Sofia, Belgrade, Skopje...) et je ne trouve rien.Comment faire ?  Merci d'avance, Noémie 

I get that my pass number and last name do not check, but that is what I have in the confirmation email and thanks to that I have not been able to book my train tickets and have struggled a lot.

Hi, this lovely community has been great help in understanding how to reserve tickets for Eurail passes. I understand that it is possible to reserve seats for travels within Italy via the OBB website. However, I currently hold the One-country Italy only Eurail pass instead of the global version. Since the only discount applicable for Eurail pass on the OBB website is ‘Interail/Eurail - Globalpass’, I was wondering if a One-country Eurail passholder like me will be able to use the OBB site to reserve seats. It will be great if there is someone who can share some insight if the tickets booked on the OBB site mentions anything about ‘Global pass’ as I do not want to get into trouble for booking the wrong tickets. Please help!

I put it to activate my pass for March 2023 and accidentally put 2 trips thinking it was to schedule them, but it turned out that I used 2 days of the 4 that I was entitled to. But I haven't traveled yet. How do I reverse this?

Hi - my partner and I are travelling from London to Paris for the rugby World Cup in 2023 and we are hoping to get the Eurostar for a match on 23rd September (returning two days later) and again on 7th October (returning two days later).Is it possible to do this on the Global Interrail pass (4 days travel in 1 month)?I have seen some things about a max number of travel days in your home country so don’t want to buy the pass if we won’t be able to use it as planned.Thanks in advance!

I accidentally booked seat reservation for 27th instead of 28th December trains Paris-Bruxelles with Thalys trains. The train number is the same, departure time is same. My Ticket requires a seat reservation, but it’s not available to reserve anymore for any trains for tomorrow the 28th. Can I still travel ? What will happen, can i prove i bought it, but made a mistake? I know there are still places left since on Thalys it still possible to book, but it cost 150euros for a ride of 1h45. 

Hi! I’m based in France for a month. I was planning to buy an inter rail pass so that I could go to places for a day, or occasional stopover - day in Germany then home, day in Paris then home, weekend in London then home…….have I completely misunderstood how the pass works?

Hi,I have two passes - one global Interrail pass and one Austria pass. I was traveling inside Austria, and instead of using a day in the Austria pass, I mistakenly used my last day on the global pass.I really need help with this, I need to use the day on the global pass as an inbound journey later on, and I have 2 days free on the Austria pass.Is it somehow possible the day used can be shifted from the global pass to the Austria pass. I would be in a bad situation if that’s not possible. Thanks

We bought an Interrail global ticket (15 days in 2 months). We’re wondering if the price of the seat reservation will be reduced due to our ticket or if they will stay the same? 

Hallo,ich würde gerne unter nightjet.com ein Ticket von Stuttgart Hbf nach Venedig Santa Lucia für den 20.04.23 buchen. Abfahrt in Stuttgart soll um 20:29 Uhr sein. Jetzt musste ich leider feststellen, dass keine Angebote für eine Buchung vorhanden sind. Ich habe mal recherchiert und festgestellt, dass im gesamten Zeitraum vom 11.04.23 - 18.05.23 keinerlei Angebote für eine Ticket Buchung vorhanden sind - egal ob nun Sitzwagen, Liegewagen oder Schlafwagen.  Kann man in diesem Zeitraum keine Tickets buchen oder sind alle Tickets bereits ausverkauft? Viele GrüßeSilvia 

If I purchase 3 month tickets in the winter sale, can I travel with it in October, November and December 2023?  just wondering as it says “valid for 11 months”. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm planning a trip on my interrail journey. Going from Stockholm to Tallinn but i can’t find Tallinn in my interrail app. It's not showing up as possible destination. So im wondering if something is wrong or i'm doing something wrong. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance!Siem

Please help me. I have read the answers to similar questions but they do not help at all with this issue. I have a Global Pass, I have created an account, but how do I get this pass that my friend bought added to my account?Our passes have not been activated yet, my friend has bought the part of the trip that we’ll take together and created it already, with reservations and all. How can I add these to my account and actually get my Pass under my account? Adding the trips to the app was easy, but we cannot figure out how I can actually add my pass to my account.Please, don’t reply with the same answers about reservations. I need my pass under my account since we will not travel the same route in the end. We thought it would be simple for one of us to buy the passes and the first part of the trip, had no idea it would make things this hard.
