Get ready to travel

I have a train reservation for a train departing in about 10 hours that I received from the train station as the Rail Planner app instructed and I need to add the reservation to my pass on the rail planner mobile app but am unable to do so. Can someone please advise me on this? As an additional aside:Four ticket booth operators spent two hours fidgeting with my phone at the train station where I booked the aforementioned tickets and we’re unable to add the reservation to our journey for the travel day that had been activated.  My wife and I have been traveling throughout Europe for the past month, we booked 3 reservations through the rail planner website and only one of the reservations added itself into our mobile passes the others we had to show the physical reservations and awkwardly explain to the train conductors that our travel days were activated but for some reason the reservations were not showing up on my phone. We were very fortunate to not have been fined during our journey

I have tried numerous times to upload my trip to my travel day tomorrow but no button appears on the trip to add to my pass. I have made a reservation for one of the trains as necessary but I don’t know what to do now. It was working fine for the previous travel days.

We have two 1st Class Global Eurail Passes and trying to make seat reservations. We are entering the correct Pass Cover Numbers, (E+8digits), on the Eurail website reservation site, BUT the Eurail website response on both is “Pass Cover Number doesn't look right”…..What is going on? The Pass Cover Numbers are correct...we double checked over and over.Eurail’s customer service is also rather useless…espcially that stupid bot.Is there any other way to reserve seats on TGV train (TGV9210) and THA train (THA9315) I am really finding these very expensive Eurail Passes to be very frustrating.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.ThanksJacqui

So basically, I am a UK resident, and I managed to get a free 7 day pass with the scheme run by the EU. I have decided that I want to purchase an additional pass to get some more travel days, probably another 7 day pass.However, since I do a lot of rail travel within the UK, I have noticed that I can purchase a 10 day pass for about £60 more than the 7 day pass - since I will have 2 passes, and I am currently only using one outbound and one inbound journey on my pass, I will have an outbound and an inbound day of travel left over, so I was wondering if I could then use these two days to travel around the UK, most likely starting and ending these trips at the same station (which is most likely Reading or Oxford, which are arguably close to airports) but if necessary I could say use it on a very circuitous route from Reading to Heathrow and then purchase a ticket to get back to Reading Essentially, the question is does the outbound/inbound journey have to be a journey on the fastest rout

I’m traveling in December, but will only need the trains 3 days. Frankfurt to Brussels, next day Brussels to London and later in the month London to Paris. Should I buy the eurail pass for 4 days in a month or is it better to buy each train ticket individually since I only need 3 days?

I’ve plan to go to Lugano from Milano Centrale and on that day I’ll use Eurail for Italy.And I’ll take Train RE80 from Milano Centrale to Lugano at 12:43 on 02.Jan.2023So I cannot find this train in timetable.Dose it means, I cannot take this train? or I can take but no need to reserve a seat? Thanks. 

Hi! During our journey accross Europe we will be taking the Bernina express from Chur to Tirano over the Alps. We will be arriving in Tirano the 29th of June, and are planning to travel to Milano from there.  However, on both the Railplanner app and Trenord's (the operator) website there are no trains on this stretch at this date. On Trenords website the usual schedule with trains several times a day stops the 26th of June. After that there is only one connection which says "not purchasable". Is this simply because they have not yet updated their website with summer timetables? I cannot find any information about construction work on the line. Hallo ich habe in meinem eurail Tiket leider das falsche Heimatland ausgewählt, was mich aktuell vor Probleme stellt. Morgen setze ich meine Fahrt fort und ich habe gesehen dass ich leider keine Fahrt mehr freihabe da ich für meinen Trip mein Zielland als Heimatland angegeben habe.  Wisst ihr wie man das ändern kann?

Ich möchte den Pass stornieren und suche jetzt schom zwei Tage den Weg wie man das macht.

Hello, I have residence in Poland but I want to start my trip in Madrid with an Interrail ticket. My plan is to travel through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Then I want to go back to Madrid and finally go to Warsaw, Poland. Is this possible with the Interrail pass? I want to buy the 10/15 day one in 2 months. Also, where can I see the train connections?

Hello, I'm the holder of 2 Eurail Pass. The reason why I made an inquiry is because of the seat reservation. I put those seats in my shopping basket to reserve the seats I want.If you enter the shopping basket, there is a button called 'checkout', and you press the button and enter 'Billing details' and 'contact details'. After that, I tried to proceed to the next step by pressing the button 'continue to traveler details', but the button did not work.To solve this problem, I tried various browsers on the computer, tried English, Korean, and Spanish on the Eurail homepage, reduced the number of seats in the shopping cart to two, and tried using my cell phone. But none of them worked.If anyone knows the answer to this question, please answer. Thank you.

Hey there,Is it possible with an Interrailpass to travel from Norway directly to the UK? Or any tips about that?

I have a train booking from Munich - Venice via OBB nightjet 1 December 11pm. We were only notified recently that Italy will be having strikes on 1 December 9pm - 2 December 9pm. Will this affect our train? Have called up OBB but they do not have any further details on this. Should we still go ahead with boarding the train? Can't imagine getting stuck on the train for 15 hours till the strike ends at 9pm...

Ich habe bei einem Thema gelesen das man sein pass aktivieren muss was ich nicht ganz versteh, ich habe mein Pass bei DB gekauft am Schalter muss ich den auch Online auf der Webseite aktivieren? Ich habe probiert ein Sitzplatzreservierung zu schauen und dann kam das Fenster mit Deine fahrt und die Reisenden auswählen habe ich dadurhc mein Pass online aktiviert oder wie ist das?Würde mich freuen über eine Rpckmeldung?EundFreundliche Grüsse Rampi

I bought a 3 month pass in the 50% sale 10/05/2022 and am just beginning to plan my amazing trip.What is the latest date to activate the pass?And what is the last date of travel after activation?Specifically, is it 3 months after the last date of activation?I just need to be clear so I don’t miss out.Thanks,Roy. 

When I bought eurail pass, I forgot to buy ‘plus’. Therefore, I’m wondering whether I can purchase it though I bought eurail pass ?

Hi there community I would like to ask what is the best way to book train reserve seats1) Will mobile ticket code or qr code work when presenting it at the gate before entering the train for the following  Portugal, Spain, Switzerland France and Italy2) I see that train inspector may require me to present the ticket physically on the countries above what should I do to show that I am a passenger 3) what can I do if the train station in the database is not available to book what is the best way to get tickets there  Thanking you kindly 😊  

My eldest child will turn 12 next year and they have a child global pass (along with me having an adult global pass). We had hoped to start our travel before they turn 12 but unfortunately no longer can. However, we will have a spare day in our itinerary and could activate/start their pass before they turn 12, sacrificing that spare day and still complete our itinerary in the remaining days and duration of the global pass. Would that be possible even though we do not actually travel on the start day before they turn 12? e.g. we do not add a journey to that day in the app? And, if so, could we do this for the child alone or would an adult pass also need to be started on the same day?
