I cant make a reservation for my family on the Eurostar from London to Paris in 3 months with my europe rail pass. The website reservations site keeps saying:Not available for some travellersSome of your travellers' Passes are not valid on this train. Change your selected travellers to book this seat reservation Any ideas? Are they out of tickets?

I have contacted Interrail for changing to an earlier Eurostar train at the same time. However, they have not responded, is there a way of changing the ticket? How does Interrail respond fast? Also, can the starting date of an Interrail Pass be potentially be changed to a day earlier?

I ordered an EU mobile pass through Klook but I cant add my pass by the number of Klook’s voucher. Rail Planner said that my details dont match although I have tried so many times in many ways to fill my information correctly. How can I add my pass? Is there any solution for me?

Does anybody have a link to any sort of guide for IR/Eurail travellers on what to do if you miss the last train of the day because of a cancelled or delayed train? I know it is supposedly the responsibility of the operator of the delayed train, but if the train has many passengers in the same situation and only one member of staff on duty (or even zero staff) what do you do?What can you claim for and from who?Do you have to stay calm and wait for them to attend to you or can you go and get a taxi or book a hotel? What food will they cover? I know IR/Eurail do give some return for delayed and cancelled trains but, when they say no claims for payments of less than 4 euro will be paid, that clearly shows the payment will be a pittance.  It is simply a proportion of your pass cost, not reflecting the retail ticket price, and that they will forward any other costs to the carrier.https://www.interrail.eu/en/support/delay-compensationhttps://www.interrail.eu/content/dam/delay-compensation-doc

I have tried multiple times to book a reservation for two from Brussels to Paris on the morning Thalys train (details below).  Each time I get all the way through to the payment screen and enter my credit card info and then when I hit the Pay button the form thinks a bit then comes back with an empty pay screen - like I never entered anything.  No error message, no confirmation, no charges to my card (as far as I can see), no reservation saved for my trip.  This is really frustrating and doesn’t give me much confidence in booking reservations through the Eurail page (this is my first try).  I guess I can book through one of the other sites, but I was hoping to keep everything in one place.  If I book through www.b-europe.com how does the reservation interacty with my Eurail pass, if at all?  If I book over there do I just print my reservation? Friday 9 December 2022 08:13 - 09:35Bruxelles-Midi (Belgium) To Paris Nord (France)USD $49Booking FeeUSD $3.92Total priceIncluding taxesUSD $52.

I'm planning for Europe trip to visit 5 countries in 14 days.Italy, Switzerland, France , Belgium, Netherlands.. These are the countries in my plan.  Can anyone suggest the best passes to buy and some travel tips please? My itinerary is yet to be prepared.   

I have a problem with mobile application today. I am not abble to see my QR code. Application worked previous day, QR code was visible, but I am not abble to save the journey and see my pass today.

Hi everyone! I am trying to book two train reservations for a weekend in Berlin (for the way there and back). December 9th till December 12th. But every time I add the reservation to my cart, check all my information and I want to check out, it shows this message: It looks like the train is still available, so I don’t really understand why this keeps happening. I made reservations before with the same account, so I don’t think it has anything to do with my account. Hoping someone here knows what to do :) 

Hi Good Day,I got the Eurail Global pass at Basel SBB and then I was told that I can also travel everywhere in Switzerland free. Does this act as a travel day if I use it in Switzerland or only when I cross the border.

Can anybody definitively confirm that IC trains in Italy do or do not require reservations for pass users?My experience a couple of months ago was my reservation was checked. Interrail planner says reservation required, but on here and Facebook several experienced contributors say they are optional.Italiarail - Trenitalia’s official partner also says reservations are required. I am always concerned that Newbies get the correct information as on board. It is no good saying “I thought...” or “ I was told by …...”, when they have the uniform and the rule book on their side.

I have a 10 day first class pass, not activated, and have already purchased through SBCB reservations for Eurostar and TGV.I now wish to exchange the pass for one with fewer journeys and even though this is a reduction in value to Interrail I understand that I can do this for a 15 Euro fee. Will my existing reservations (for which I had to generate a pass cover number) be valid with the new pass?Thanks, Scott

We travelled from UK to Croatia.  For the journey through France, Germany, Austria and Slovenia the interrail app allowed us to find trains for which we did not need to buy seat reservations.  However, all the Croatian trains said we needed reservations.  The information on the Interrail site leads you to believe that you can buy these through the OBB Austrian train reservation site.  This isn’t true. I wasted many hours trying to find some way of getting the reservations, sometime getting as far as the payment page, only to be thrown out with an “error” at the final point of booking.  At Salzburg and Ljubljana stations we asked if we could buy the seat reservations there and were told “only in Croatia”.  We were due to change trains in Zagreb with 4 hours between trains so decided to try there.  It was quite worrying as on the return journey we wanted a sleeper on the Zagreb to Munich overnight train, which would then connect to Frankfurt and the Eurostar.  So any problems would have

Hi. I am trying to buy a pass for 1 country in the website. After completing all, it asks the day I will start travelling, but I can't enter the date, 9th december. It appears the 23rd december and I can't change it.Can some one tell me what can I do??I am buying a pass on paper.Thanks a lot for reply. 

I am busy planning my itinerary for a European trip with my 18 year old son next year and I can’t seem to find any fast trains from Milan to Rome on May 18th. We have global passes and I’ve managed to do a reservation on Eurostar already. Is it too early to find them for Italian legs of our journey? I notice there are tonnes at the moment but the only train routes I can find for next May are 14 to 22 hours long for that leg. Yikes! We have a tight schedule at that end of the trip so want to know if I should wait or just book another carrier that’s not part of Eurail. Any insights or advice?

We cannot find night trains to any destination. e.g. from Milano to Paris, from Paris to Amsterdam Has anyone traveled generally by night trains? If yes, which was your destination?

Just read a short note on other forum that there will be a new sale-call it Schwarzer Freitag or venerdi negro if you so wish, starting 24/11 already (not seen for how long) on all types of at least the global passes.

Hello, I'm a bit stuck. We are flying into Helsinki on the 7th December and we want to catch the Santa Claus express that evening to Rovaniemi. The prices are Eur 49 p.p for a deluxe double sleeper cabin. havent been able to reserve online so I called the Eurarail help line. They can book me in but I'm confused as the prices are Eur 180pp now.Does this sound correct, as it's now cheaper to fly then take the train. 

There are still no trains scheduled in Serbia from 13. Dec onwards. Departures from Belgrade Central, 13-12-2022Does anyone know why that is, or when a new schedule will be published?Specifically, I would like to know if the train from Belgrade to Bar is going to continue or not.  

I am looking to book a journey from Prague to Hallstatt on Jan 5 and while the Eurail site shows that reservations are not required, for my anxious wife’s peace of mind I would like to try to reserve a seat wherever possible for our holiday.I have tried booking via eurail.com, oebb.at and cd.cz and selected various settings with either the Eurail pass discount or seat-only options and I have attempted to change the journey simply from Prague to Linz to try to reserve that seat. On all of the sites I haven’t been able to reserve seats so I was wondering whether the allocation for pass holders has been exhausted or if I am doing something wrong.I can see via the cd.cz site that there are still seats available to reserve, but when doing so I get the message “The booking period for this reservation has not yet begun or has already expired.”.The oebb.at site just says “No ticket required” and I don’t get the option to add on the Seat Reservation and eurail.com gives the generic “unavailable

I am new to Eurail and can’t seem to make seat reservations from Lisbon to Porto on Wednesday November 23, 2022. I am worried they won’t be available if we wait until we get to the station the day of. How can I buy these? Any advice for a newbie? Thanks in advance. 

My husband and I have purchased 3 month global passes online.  We have successfully made our first trip reservations for 14/12/2022 from London St Pancras to Brussels-Centraal but we are having trouble with seat reservations. We have attempted to purchase the seat reservations 5 or more times in the past 18 hours.  It accepts our cc info and we wait 30 minutes but no confirmation email is received.  Sometimes when we go back to start over (but not always), the seat reservations are sitting in our cart again.  We have tried making the seat reservations via the eurail website and the eurail app.  So far we don’t see any of the seat reservation charges on our credit card.We have also sent this question to eurail but reply said it could be two days or more.Help!
