looking for info on rules for carry on with oxygen concentrators on eurail  in germany and italy

Is my first interrail, and im very lost.i need information on how to book the trains, and what do i have to do if i have to book the trains on the station (as i read in Bulgaria) where do we have to pay? 

 I'm intending to get a global. in switzerland does the pass include public transport, specifically interlaken? I will be with a 7 month old baby can I take the stroller on the train?I will make the pathlondon -amsterdan - paris - strasbourg - interlaken - zurich do you have any benefits?      

Hi everyone,I have a Eurail pass, but accidentally bought some Interail seat reservations rather than Eurail seat reservations because the app takes you through the Interrail website. Does this matter?Would be great to hear if anyone has had this issue before.Thanks in advance.

Hello, we want to reserve seats on a night train that goes from Cluj-Napoca to Bucharest but we have an error message:"Prices unavailable. No fares were found for this route. Seats for Pass holders may be sold out. Look for another route or see More information to see other booking options. If the seats for Pass holders are sold out, you will need to purchase a full fare ticket to make this journey."And this on several different route configurations. Is this normal? HiI am trying to find a sensible route from Northern Italy/Switzerland back to Paris at the end of my month long pass planned for next April, with the aim that this can be covered in a day or two day max. I am happy for this to be High speed and require reservations. Just prior to this I intend to have a few days in Switzerland in and around the routes of Bernina and Glacier express, though probably local trains rather than scenic routes. So for example I will not be far from Milan as a starting point.Or I could step off from Switzerland back to Paris.Can any one suggest possible routes?ThanksMalcolm

I bought an eurail pass, and I want to reserve a seat on the site.At the beginning of the reservation, the address and contact number were entered at the step of entering the order details.But even if I press the button to move on, it doesn't move on.I can't make a reservation.What should I do?

hi i booked a travel ticket from milano rogoredo to Firenze S.M.Novella on 08/01/2023 at 13:20. but i realized i made a mistake i wanted book a ticket from Milano centrale not a Rogoredo. Can I change my ticket? 

My pass runs our on 27th Nov 2027. Not activated yet. Can I book tickets for December and January before it expires? Other wise I guess I will have to get a refund?

Hi,I have a valid EURail Mobile Pass on the app. I have the following questions about using the discount benefit while in Switzerland:For the Luzern boat and Rigi Train 50% discount benefit, do I need to log it in the planner app and use up a travel day? If not, what page in the app do I need to show when purchasing the ticket? Similar to the first question, what do I need to show for the discount ticket to Jungfraujoch?Thanks!

If I have created a new travel day and QR Code in the mobile pass with the first journey for that day, but I could not take the train, if I delete that journey, and add another for the same day, ¿Is QR code still valid for that travel day?Thanks

If you travel on a private railway in Switzerland using the Interrail pass to obtain a discount do you have to use up one of the days on your Interrail Pass to do so?

Hello, I recently bought and activated a pass but it doesn't show as a QR code, just gives text details. Secondly, I created a trip and reserved seats but I can't seem to link the trip to my pass.When I click on my pass, it states no trips scheduled yet.When I  click on my trips, it clearly shows the itinerary. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks 🙂

Hi All,I’ve been wanting to reserve a seat on the overnight train between Prague and Budapest on the 6th of Jan. On the cd.cz website, all trains are available to purchase/reserve except the overnight train departing at 10.43. This train also doesn’t seem to be showing up on any other websites e.g. raileurope.  I was just wondering if anyone knew how to reserve this train or why I am unable to yet?   

I know there is a direct euro city connection but neither the interrail website nor the app will show it.  I know I need a reservation for part of the journey but first I need the journey to exist ;-/ Also why do DB not allow first class pass holder in their lounges :-(

According to Bulgarian train website currently the schedule is set till 10.12. We are planning to take the train on the 23 at night and now are wondering if trains are still going in winter? Any one know about the winter schedule of the trains? Also, is it possible that Nighttrains from Buccharest to Vienna can only be booked one months in advance? I noticed that after that tickets are available till the 8th of december, but are not available after.

Buenas tardes, estoy estudiando la posibilidad de hacer el interrrail por pais de italia, la duda me surge con los precios, he mirado el billete de pais de Italia y me sale sobre 146€, he buscado los viajes que voy a hacer con linea regular y sale mas barato que cogiendo el billete de interrail, esto es normal? estoy equivocado? hay algo que estoy haciendo mal?. Gracias de antemano.Billete medio por italia en el recorrido recomendado por la web...unos 15€ por 5 días = 75€billete de interrail 146, el doble!!! ayuda por favor, o esta pensado para hacer recorridos mas amplios o no lo entiendo

Can I use CD lounge in Prague hbf with 2nd class tickets ? 

English (german below/Deutsch unten)I understand that you have 2 travel days to get out of country and to get back into your country (of residence). My Plan is to use IC40600 from Karlsruhe to Hamburg and then moving from Hamburg to Kobenhaven. The Train departs at 23.06 and apparently there for those 54 minutes are my travelday inside my country of residence. (and german trains are never punctual). Is it actually necessary that I book a later train? So wie ich es verstehe hat man 2 Reisetage um in und aus dem Wohnsitzland zu reisen. Ich würde gerne den IC40600 von Karlsruhe nach Hamburg nutzen und anschliessend von Hamburg nach Kopenhagen fahren. Der Zug fährt um 23.06 ab und dadurch wird anscheinend jener Tag bzw jene 54 min als dieser Reisetag angezeigt. Ist es tatsächlich notwendig jetzt ne Stunde später den zug zu nehmen? Ist ja ziemlich unlogisch gemacht. Dauernd alles flexibel reden aber 0-24 uhr einstellen statt ein 24 stündiges zeitfenster. Totaler quatsch.

I plan on purchasing a 4 train ride in 1 month pass. I only need to travel from Frankfurt- strasbourg and then strasbourg-paris there will be a short 6 minute transfer in between so I’m not sure if that would have to include 1 of my 4 train ride passes or if it’s included with my original ticket from the start of first train ride any help or input is appreciated 

I want to know if it is possible to activate the trains seperatly? Is it a travel day for each train if I activate them?

I flew to the UK to get here, but since this was stressful and is also quite expensive (and damaging to the environment as well as a hassle to bring all my luggage with me), I’ve been looking into alternatives to get home, which is why I’m strongly considering Interrail.But, I’ve ran into problem/question I haven’t been able to truly answer.As I’m from Germany, but am currently in the UK, I’m a little confused about the “country of residence”. To outline my problem/questions:I plan on going back to Germany shortly before Christmas I then plan to return to the UK in early January Before I travel back to Germany at the end of January (for which I plan to travel to the border, or e.g., Amsterdam and then get a separate ticket back home to Germany)My Questions are:As I am a German citizen, is my country of residence Germany? I see that only the route to Sicily is available, due to be reserved via Interrail. We are looking to make a reservation from Milano to Bari. When using Italiarail as advised in another post, you only seem to be able to book normal seats, but not beds. Now, without going to Italy, how can I make a reservation for a bed in night train in Italy?
