Hi All,I have tried to reserve a seat on a Berlin to Prague train (9.16am on 3rd January) however it says ‘we are unable to offer any reservations on the service you have chosen’. I am able to book seats at other times on the same day but not the 9.16 train. Does anyone know why this is?Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi all,I’ve been recently doing a reservations blitz before I set off for my 15 travel days early next month. Most have gone smoothly, but I’m having a bit of trouble booking FA 8828 between Barletta (15:06) and Venezia S. Lucia for November 30th.Trenitalia are displaying and selling this train, but it doesn’t appear on the Interrail timetable or OEBB’s Scotty beyond November 4th. It’s a strange omission because both those apps are showing most long-distance and regional Italian trains for November 30th already.Am I right in thinking the 8828 will probably be added to the Rail Planner and/or OEBB with the next monthly update? If so, does anyone know when that update takes place; at the end of the month, perhaps? Many thanks for any pointers!
An important note about this train. It is frequently fully booked on the day and sometimes a few days before. The clerk at the international desk told us it was full on Friday Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Unfortunately it can’t be booked outside of Bulgaria so you must allow time to buy in person. You must have your passport with you when buying these reservations. A double sleeper costs the equivalent of 30 euros.Specialist agencies can help as they use local contacts to buy the tickets and deliver them to hotels or can even meet you in person but you have to pay for this level of service!
I’ve purchased a Eurail pass for travel beginning November 1, 2022 but I’m having trouble making a seat reservation from Barcelona to Paris, any suggestions?
Using the Interail website, I booked seat e-ticket seat reservations for Milan to Florence. The accompanying email said I needed to print the reservations but other things I've read suggest this isn't necessary. Which is it?
Christin
Hello! I booked a 15 day first class mobile Eurail pass which will be valid in late October when I arrive in Germany. That being said, I don’t have much of an itinerary -- I’ll be in Frankfurt and Cologne for a few days, but otherwise, I hope that I can be spontaneous to some extent. So -- How hard is it to schedule a train, day of travel, for a route like Frankfurt → Cologne, for example? Do I need to reserve ahead of time?If I want to go to the other countries serviced by Deutsche Bahn, like parts of Northern Italy and Austria via Munich, how do I go about scheduling that in the app?
I am trying to plan a journey for a 60th birthday. But i am a little confused when it comes to using the pass in your own country. By what i read it is one journey each way. My main confusion is this. I will be travelling from Carlisle to London, and then London to Brussels on the same day. Does the pass cover both trains, apart from the reservation fees?Any help to sort my confusion much appreciated.
eurostar london to anywhere. i only seem to be able to book about 45 days in advance via the interail website. I want to start my trip in early april 2023 so quite important to be able to get across channel first Many thanks in advance Martin
Hi, I’m travelling Amsterdam to Middleburg on an ‘IC’ train. Interail planner says not in network but I thought all domestic Netherlandish trains were?….any help would be much appreciated!
Hi going to Geneva in the morning from Copenhagen and have to switch trains 5 times. How do I figure out what trains to take in which direction and from what platform? I have switches on 8 min, so would be nice to know in advance!
I can't find train times between Athens and Thessalonica, though on the map it shows there is a train.
It is our first time to use Eurail pass. After put schedule into the “Planner” in the app, there is no “Search” button under the “Filters”. So it is impossible to see the timetable and choose the departure time. What should I do with this situation? Thank you
Hey guys, I really need your help!I’m gonna travel to Europe this summer and the Eurail Pass it’s the best cost benefit option to travel. But I’m worried I won’t be able to go some places. Can someone please tell me if my trip is possible?Málaga (spain) → Barcelona (spain) → Paris (france) → Amestrdam (Netherlands) → Rome (italy) All of this in 29 days, staying like 4 days in each country! Can someone tell me if it’s possible?
As a pensioner do Inter rail do discounts for booking in advance , I am coming from England as my first visit to Germany for 7 days
I’m trying to figure out which Eurail pass to buy by figuring out how many travel days I’ll actually be using. So my question is, on days we’re in a city (say Copenhagen) and want to explore, is it best to use the Eurail pass to get around (and count that as a ‘travel day’) or to get around via bus, walking, bike, etc?Or would it really depend on the city? We plan to visit Scandinavia and the Baltic before heading south through Poland, Czechia and Germany.
Hi, im looking at doing 7 days in Italy next year, visiting 5 different places, how often can I board the trains? so I want to go from Florence to Pisa (for max 2 hours) then head towards Bologna for the night? is that possible? Can I board multiple trains per day in different locations? I was looking at getting the 5 days in one month.
I can’t do a reservation when I introduce mi cover number it says Your Pass cover number doesn't look right
Hey! [EN]I am about to finish my 10-day interrail trip and it has been a pleasure so far. Only thing that was annoying was the I/O day rule so far. Now my question is that if I decide to take a night train (after having taken another train before in my home country so that the I/O day has activated already) and my train that I have taken before is delayed so that I cant reach said Night train (seating, no bed), would I be allowed to take the next train as it isnt on the inbound/outbound day anymore (but 1am/2am on the next day aka next train possible on exactly the same route) because I wouldnt be responsible for the delay?thanks in advance!
Hi guys, I have never used a global pass. The thing is that I need to be in Berlin twice this month, can I use the global pass 4 days in 1 month for that? I will travel from Amsterdam to Berlin on two different dates. Thanks in advance!
I will go on a trip to Switzerland next year with my Scouts group, and I’m thinking about buying the Interrail One Country for this trip. But I have two questions: • Is the Bernina Express included in the pass? • In the SBB (swiss trains) site I can buy a ticket from Milan to Campione d’Italia (an italian enclave in Switzerland). In Trenitalia, however, I cannot. My question is: the trip from Milan to Campione d’Italia is included in the pass? Since it goes through tão countries (Switzerland and Italy). Thanks in advance!
Hi all,My wife and I are traveling through Europe in March 2023. Given the list of destinations below we are considering getting a Eurail Pass.Amsterdam→Berlin→Warsaw→Krakow→Venice→Zurich→Lucerne We have used the Rail Planner app to confirm there are available trains within all locations that accept the Eurail Pass. We are using November just to check availability as March is too far away, but there are no trains showing within Poland that accept the Eurail Pass. Can anyone confirm if I have made an error or is there something else happening?
