I am trying to buy reservation for the InterCityNotte 1954 Palermo-Rome.I know that the 1954 is is connected to the 1956 from Siracusa in Messina. The train can’t be found in the RailPlanner-app (only as a train Palermo-Messina) and when I try to book it on ItaliaRail it suggest me to buy 2 beds, one Palermo-Messina and one Messina-Rome. is there any way to use InterRail on this connection?I am unfortunately no where near Italy, so I won’t be able to buy at a station before the beds are sold out.
Hi community! We have a interrail pass for Italy and we’re entering the country from Switzerland with a direct train Zurich - Milano. When adding this as a ride in my trip I can’t add it to the pass (to activate day one) because it says “Your pass is not valid in some of these countries”.This is obviously true, but how should I add a direct train between two countries? I have a valid ticket to the border, but from the border to Milano I would like to use an interrail day…Any advice is most welcome!Peter
Hello, I want to make a night-train reservation departing from Frankfurt (Sued) to Wien at 01:17, NJ 40421. The train schedule is updated on the OBB website, but it’s not on the Rail Planner application or website. I feel quite nervous in that I know the reservation for the night train is quite difficult. When will it be reflected on the Eurail Pass?
Hello! My husband and I are travelling from Stockholm to Narvik on December 11 and would like to take the night train. I understand that tickets are generally released 90-120 days in advance (is this correct?). We are currently 75 days out and no tickets are available. We’ve checked daily for…. embarrassingly… months. A few weeks back the messaging changed from “not available yet” to “sold out.” Can anyone proved any insight into what is happening and when/if we might be able to book tickets? A little background, we are both first time travelers in Norway & Sweden and are extremely excited to see all that we can on our holiday. We have utilized the rail systems in France, Germany, Switzerland without any issues, so we’re novices, but not total newbies 😁
mi pase impreso no fue entregado y ahora va de regreso a las oficinas de eurail, pero no me responden ningun mail. ¿Que puedo hacer? #urgente
I'd like to complain about any Eurail pass but especially the Global Eurail monthly pass and it's workings in France. I would not recommend using it if you're main travels are in and out of France. The whole point of the Eurail pass is having flexibility in your travels and between trips but sadly it really isn't possible. It is absurd to me that I had to pay that much money for a free pass but I had to waste 2 whole travel days only to purchase train tickets inside of France (coming from Switzerland) and spend even more money because the pass isn't really helpful while traveling in France. Now setting aside the fact that why should I even have to pay extra for a reservation, it is impossible to make the reservations online (especially for trains running to Paris). I tried going to a few large train stations in Switzerland and Germany and they could not help either. I had to ride to a large train station in France, waste 2 whole travel days and also pay extra.
Please help ASAP I got following trips planned. According to the euro rail none of these trips require a reservation. However reading lot of reviews online suggest that perhaps information within the euro rail about whether reservation is required cant be trusted.I also read that even if you dont need a reservation its really hard to get into the trains without reservations and at times you get into trouble with ticket inspectors even if you have a euro rail pass as they dont understand this pass. My group consist of 4 adults and a child (6ys old)Planned trips5/10/22 : Frankfurt airport (leaving at 9.30 am) to Amsterdam Central and then to Zaandam 7/10/22 : Amsterdam Central (leaving at 9.30 am) toEuro rail says that reservations are not required for these trains . is this correct ?Is there a another way for me to check this before buying the pass ? Euro rial says that reservations are required for following trains 8/10/22 : Brussels Nord (leaving at 9.30 am) to Paris Est 11/10/22
I recently purchased passes and the birthdates were each off by one day. Will be traveling in a couple of weeks. The response i got back didn’t help, apparently it’s a glich in the system related to time zones. I wonder if it’s necessary to have the correct birth date when using this pass?
Once I get the euro pass is there where to test the pass without activating / wasting 1 travel date ?
Hello,we are currently traveling trough Europe. we want to take the night train from Budapest to Zurich on 6th of October.the problem is, the only way of getting the ticket is having it sent by Post. We don’t know if it is going to arrive on time before the departure, moreover we don’t have an adress to give since we don’t know where we are going to be when the tickets come. Is there any other solution such as printing tickets in a train station ? We are currently in Germany and next we are going to Prague. thank you for your answers.
Hi. I searched for journeys in Spain and it doesn’t leave me book seat reservations on them. Then when I click to see the option of more information it says that I can book them on the main station on Spain. And what about if I try to book them there and there is no more space in the train?
Hi,I live in Germany and booked a 7 day international ticket. I already went to France and back, so my two days of going inbound and outbound are used. Now I wanted to use the remaining days from tomorrow on to travel inside Germany. I thought as I was not going outbound that would be okay. Apparently it is not, because the App wont let me validate my trips. Can you tell me what the problem here is? Because from my understanding the only limit was crossing the boarders to and from my home country. Thanks a lotJonas
Hello Folks:I read somewhere but cannot seem to find it anymore that the connection from Rome Terminal to Rome international Airport on high speed local train is included for First Class global Pass holders. Can some one please point me to the link or provide information? thanks,YB
Hello everyone! I urgently need your help because in few days I’ll be in Switzerland with a friend and we’ll stay 1 week, but I still haven’t found a reply to this question.I am trying to understand if it’s more convenient for me to buy a 4-5 days interrail swiss pass (around 150-170 euro for us because we are under 27yo), or a swiss travel pass (but it’s more expensive), or just not take anything and just buy normal tickets. We will be in Bern the first 2 days, so the plan is to buy after it so it will start from Bern and we will go to: Interlaken, and from there to Grindelwald, Luterbrunnen.. and maybe Wangen but just because I understood form there it’s possible to reach Mannlichen point of view, with funicular. Then we will go to Lucerne. and from there back home. This is the plan if I don’t do any interrail etc.. because it will cost the same. But if I manage to have interrail, that would allow me to visit also Lugano and maybe Guttannen for the famous Gelmerbahn, or maybe Gruyères
Dear community,I bought my 7-day global pass to travel to France and afterwards, use the remaining 5 trips in my home country Germany. In the buying process, it was not mentioned, that this ticket only allows 2 outbound/inbound trips. I still thought though, that this applies only when I cross the border from my home country, therefore still enabling me to travel in my home country. As it turns out however, I am not able to do so and now stuck in my home country not being able to use my trips at all anymore. If I would have known that before I would have at least bought the cheaper pass with 4 days, more likely though just the trains independently as that would have been much cheaper! Therefore I would like to know if there is any way to get at least a refund for the price difference between the 7-day and the 4-day pass, as I only needed the pass for 2 days. Being over 27 that amounts to 89 €.Please help!Tobi
I would like to book a sleeper on the trains I mentioned in the title, but I can't figure out how. Can anyone help me?
Hello, we have bought a 2 months global pass and did a trip with it this september trip including our inbound and outbound trips from/to our home country. We would like to do another small journey this weekend. How ever i got told today that our pass isnt valid in other countries anymore too, because we used the inbound and outbound trip and are back already. She wasnt 100% sure if she is correct with that statement. So can we still use our pass outside our home country or isnt this possible after using the outbound and inbound trip? Best regards,Maxi
Hi, I’m planning on interrailing in October, and I have a friend that is going to visit me in Zagreb. He spoke to me about visiting Ljubljana, and I was wondering if he would be able to buy an individual ticket for that one journey, from Ljublana to Zagreb, without buying a full pass and just buying one individual ticket? Thanks in advance for any help
Good morning, I represent the Warsaw University of Technology. I would like to ask, is it possible to receive a proforma invoice from Interrail for the purchase of 2 Interrail Global Passes for 2 people (12-27 years of age) for 7 days of travel within 1 month? Or do we rather need to purchase these tickets via the website https://www.interrail.eu/en and this is the only way to buy Global Passes and possibly then ask for an invoice. We would need a proforma invoice, because it is the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) that sends two people abroad and WUT will pay for their tickets. In order to pay, the Warsaw University of Technology's accounting must have a basis for this, i.e. a proforma invoice, on the basis of which the transfer will be made for the tickets. Otherwise, the institution will not transfer funds. I will be grateful for any information. Kind regards Piotr Szczepański
Greetings,I have a strange problem finding some trains on the Rail Planner app: i’m going to travel with a companion but we get different results when trying to find some trains.Obviously we made sure that we set the same parameters and filters, yet I get all the correct trains (first screenshot) but my companion does not (second screenshot). Neither of our passes are activated yet. Could this be a problem with the app or is there something I’m missing?
15-9-2022 Your reservation order didn’t go through????
Hey, someone knows if Local trains "S" are included?
We are planning to take the night train from Prague - Budapest and Budapest - Munich in November. I’m a little confused on if we need to purchase a eurail pass or if we can just purchase the reservation for the night train. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
I ma trying to make a reservation for just over a weeks time from London to Paris. The b-europe site shows some availability, but when I try to book on Eurail site it says not available. This is not just for one train, but seemingly any I check at the moment!Should I trust availability on the b-europe site? Or will I get an error when I try to book? Do they sometimes differ like this?
I have a question regarding reservations. I would like to take the night train to Vienna on Saturday, October 8: 20:03 UTRECHT CENTRAAL (Netherlands) 12h 11m, NJ 40421 Night JetOn this train I need to reserve a seat, but it says on the webstie of interrail that this can be done up to 180 days in advance. So through the website interrail.eu this is no longer possible? An alternative is to book via https://shop.oebbtickets.at/, but how can I be sure this is the same train? On the interrail website I have to pay € 16,- to make a reservation and on the oebbtickets website another € 3,- why do I have to pay twice? As a final question I would like a sleeper compartment, how do I make sure I reserve a sleeper compartment?
