Hi, has anyone travelled in Spain recently and if so, any tips. I’m planning a two week trip but haven’t reserved seats and don’t intend to as not sure where we want to end up!

Hi there, I am planning to travel from India to Europe and looking at all possible train connections. One point is reserving a seat. Many of my train journeys say - reservation is not necessary but if required, I can reserve. Now the question is - if I don’t reserve a seat and reach the train coach only to find no seat is available, are we allowed to board the train and complete the journey standing inside the coach? In other words, are standing passengers allowed? Thank you for sharing your viewpoints.

Hallo liebe Community, Ich habe mit dem Interrail Ticket bei meiner letzten Reise nach Frankreich sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Leider wurde dabei mein Handy gestohlen und auf dem neuen Gerät kann ich das Ticket in der App nicht mehr aktivieren.. Ich habe vor einer Woche schon eine Mail an den Kundenservice geschrieben und gestern auch dad Formular hier ausgefüllt, aber mache mir Sorgen, bis Freitag keine Antwort zu bekommen... Bereits am Freitag früh brauche ich es nämlich dringend für eine weitere Reise.Wie schätzt ihr meine Chancen ein, dass das bis dahin noch funktioniert? Kann ich noch irgendeinen Weg wählen, den Prozess zu beschleunigen, mein Ticket zurück zu bekommen? Ich bin für jeden Tipp sehr dankbar, habe sonst finanzielle und pragmatisch echt große Sorgen.Vielen Dank und viele Grüße,Theresa Conrady

Hi, I am already on the road and two imporant questions came to my mind.I would like to ask you, how is it with Bernere Oberlander Bahnen. They are on the trails around Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Grindelwald. It is not in Pass network, but it was written, that I will get a 25 % discount from the ticket. But I wrote an email directly someone from that railcompany and they responded, that I have to buy Swiss travel pass or swiss half fare pass to habe reduction from the ticket price. That Interrail pass is not a pass to get a reduction. I read one topic about that region in forum here and there was something about that the stuff maybe did not know about the pass, but he should accept it. Does it mean, that the stuff who wrote me was wrong? Or how is your recent experience? I do not want to buy other pass, if they did not offer discount, I just will go with these rails only a little bit. And the other question is, that it is possible to go with a later train than I have in the pass? Hi all, need help with metro/train timetable on January 1st in Paris.I will take the flight from Paris to Italy on January 1st, 2023 in the morning but I am worried that there will be less metro service as it is the first day of the year. I am worried that it will be hard to get to the airport. Does anyone know if the metro/train will run as usual?

Hello, arrived today in Sofia on the Istanbul sleeper and plan on getting the 0715 train to Bucharest tomorrow.Went to the ticket office but was told the international office was closed until 0900 tomorrow.Is there anyway for us to board the 0715 train without a reservation or get one on the train?Or has anyone else had problems with the ticket office in Sofia before?Thanks,Adam 

Hi, Some other questions come to my mind, because I am going on an interrail trip very soon and I am nervous. I am afraid something will go wrong.I bought a Youth Pass because I am 25 years old. I do not know now, whether I should be a student or it is only by age? I am a student in my home country, but student card is not valid for travel abroad anyway. I hope I did not mess this up and I have the right pass. How is it with trains in Switzerland in general? Are they always on time as they say? I think there are some exceptions. I ask because sometimes there is 5 minutes to change a train and I know it is hardly to do so, but the next train goes in one hour. More than 10 minutes is ok? And I know I do not have to do reservations for domestic trains in Switzerland, but when I want to go with a panoramatic train or a cogwheel and the reservation is recommended or required, they say I should print it. Do I have to print it or just show it on my phone? I will not show all reservations exce

So frigging frustrated with this app!  We have a seat reservation and Eurail tickets for Barcelona to Paris tomorrow.  My husband was a User Experience specialist for Amazon and we simply cannot generate a QR code for travel!  We had to pay for a ticket from Lisbon to Porto, not use our Eurail pass, and it said one was used though we didn't use it!  We have gone through the process of saving a trip but cannot generate a QR code!  Any advice?  Almost to the point of buying a ticket at the station and getting our money back from Eurail.  

if I want to take a train without reservation how do I check in. I don’t see a QR code or something on my interrail. 

Hello,The seat reservation site is broken. The date shown on the itineraries when searching is different from the search query, e.g. when I search for tickets on October 15 the list of itineraries shows October 14. Because of this, I booked two itineraries with the wrong date.I have messaged support many times and was told it would take 2 weeks to respond. This is urgent, so I’m here. Please help me fix these reservations ASAP.

Okay. I’ll try to be coherent in this question. I’m trying to take the high speed train from Paris to Barcelona. I have a 4 day global pass. I’m currently trying to get a seat reservation and it appears that they are available but when I choose the day and time I want it actually books me for the NEXT day. So I want 06 October, I have checked 5 times to make sure I’m getting the right day but 07 October is what is in my cart. I have tried for multiple days and it happens for all of them. Does anyone know why this is happening??Second, if there is no guarantee of a reservation what the heck is the value of the pass? I’m going to be on a tight schedule so only have the 4 day pass. But if I can’t get a reservation I will have wasted the cost of the pass, correct? I’m not going to be able to add trips elsewhere. Last, if the seat reservations are limited, it doesn’t make sense to require them at the station, right? Presumably they will sell out fast the day of. And then you’ve REALLY waste

Hey,I start traveling in 4 days and like to book tickets for a seat reservation in a TGV train. When I tried to book the seat reservation on the interrail website I saw it is only possible to buy a physical ticket which means I must be delivered by postman in 3 days. That's risky.What should I do?

Hi guys:We are group of three travelers.I thought when I use Euro Rail seat reservation system, I will be able to select seats. Despite paying hefty $156.00 and $253 for seat reservation between London-Paris and Paris-Zurich respectively for first class on top of euro rail pass, I didn’t get to choose where we sit :(.  Are there any tricks to do seat reservation or are we at the mercy for automation? Can we change our seats at the station? I know London Paris leg may be very busy but i don’t expect Paris Zurich to be a problem. It is my first time travelling to Europe so I am not sure how busy it would be between Paris Zurich on express train. thanks

Hello everyone! I'm trying to book my eurostar seat on B-Europe but my train doesn't appear. It indicates that there is no matching connection. Dear Community,I need urgently help regarding my booking issue for a connection from Lyon to Barcelona next Monday, 26 September, which is part of my travel from Germany to Madrid. I ordered the Cover Pass Number but I am not able to book the seat reservation for the connection from Lyon to Barcelona on the https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish website.It does not even show Barcelona as a destination to go to from Lyon.I have no idea how to get a seat reservation now for this connection. It also tells me in the Eurail reservation tool that the ticket is only issued in paper and therefore needs to be sent by mail which impossible to Germany apparently. I already went to the DB Reisezentrum but they couldn’t assist in this issue since its SNCF who is in charge for the connection.I am more than happy for any hints and help.Thank you very much in advance.Franzi
