Get ready to travel

Hi, I can't book the Paris-London train ticket online, could you advise me on a way to book tickets online using my mobile interrail pass?  

I have a global Eurail pass -- I know i can book Eurostar trains to travel to and from Paris <> London.Though the global Eurail Pass is meant for cross country travel, it also functions within France itself right? i.e. i can travel from Paris EST/Gare de Lyon to Colmar, Bordeaux, Lyon, Loire Valley, etc?  If I purchased the First Class Global Eurail Pass, what tier of seats does that entitle me to on Eurostar? (I see there are standard, standard premier, business)Thank you!

Hi,I want to take the train between Goteborg and Oslo on September 17th (saturday) at 7:55.I found this train on the vy website, but i can't find it in the interrail app. I already called Entur, originally to get a train reservation, only to learn that this train doesn't need a reservation and with an interrail ticket i can hop on as i like.The problem is, I can't take a train which i cannot add in the interrail app.I've already read some similar questions on this platform, but i can't i add a train manually (it is a direct train, or maybe i am too dumb for this), and i am sure that this train is a train covered by the interrail global pass. Does anybody have a plan?Thanks in advance ;) 

Hi, this time I want to go to Italy. But I booked wrong date. So I canceled the ticket. But it looks like my reservation hasn't been canceled yet like the picture. How can I confirm that my seat has been canceled? Or do I not have to worry about this? I booked and canceled yesterday. Thank you for your reply in advance..

Where can I find detailed invoices for the reservations? Eurostar reservations show no prices. Eurail took money from credit card, but I have no invoice for it.Please help

I want to travel to Bosnia later this year but there are no international train connections in or out of the country. Wondering the best way to travel and if there is anyway to know what busses are included in the interrail pass as I believe some of them are. My route around that area is Split > Mostar > Sarajevo > Belgrade.Thank you for any help!

Hi, Wanted to know if the local trains in Switzerland are covered in the Interrail Global Pass. For example when I search Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen it says “Pass not Valid - You need to buy  a full ticket to board.”

hi, i am travelling in a group of 4, consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 12), and am thinking of booking the sleeper cabin with 3 beds. How do we make sure we can have the whole compartment to ourselves? or they will allocate 1 adult to another compartment? why am i unable to book after 9th Dec from Venice to Munich? Do i have to wait for a new timetable? are the sleeper cabins safe and clean for a family with kids, with locks from inside all working? Greetings,My friend and I will be travelling to Europe at the end of September from North America. I want to get a Mobile Pass on my phone but I don’t want to inadvertently activate it too soon since there are warnings about not being able to transfer between devices. I am trying to figure out how I should go about doing this. My idea is to bring a spare cell phone and buy a SIM card once I land and then purchase the Eurail Mobile Pass on that and activate it on that phone as opposed to bringing my regular cell phone and swapping SIM cards. Does anyone have advice on this? I am also wondering if I can buy the Eurail Pass on my cell phone in North America but not activate it until I get to Europe on the spare cell phone.

Hey!I am currently in Amsterdam, travelling with Interrail, Global Pass.Tomorrow I want to travel to Kopenhagen. Unfortunatly, I have to travel through germany. I used one of my two rides inside/outside my homecountry (Germany) for travelling to Amsterdam.As I have to travel back home, i have to use the second ride.Am I really supposed to buy an extra Ticket for all the way from Amsterdam to Kopenhagen???! I can't transver germany because i'm from.german? A direct train is also not available from Amsterdam to Kopenhagen. Maybe I could avoid the "Home Country Ride"Can you help me out? Its my first time travelling with Interrail, and I would be really disappointed if i have to buy that expensive extra Ticket!Thank you all!Cheers, Jonas

Hello, is there a separate way to book the in/outbound journeys or does the app automatically know you are leaving & re-entering your country (UK, in my case)?In other words, do I book my outbound normally, by searching for travel times & days, like you would for all the other journeys?Many thanks,Julia

Hej,as I was gathering all available information in regards to the “travelling through your country of residence issue” (which apparently is quite a thing, especially for Germans) I noticed, that on the English page ( https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/what-is-interrail/travel-your-own-country ) there is a sectionKeep in mind that when you want to travel from one country to another, and you have to travel through your country of residence, the app wil apply both the inbound and the outbound journey to this trip. Which clearly includes the answer (as well as a typo: .. the app will .. ) whether it is possible or not to travel through the country of residence. However: On the German page (https://www.interrail.eu/de/interrail-passes/what-is-interrail/travel-your-own-country ) this information is missing.  Wir möchten, dass unsere Pässe genauso flexibel sind wie unsere Reisenden. Hello, this is my first question, indeed, it is a request for help.I have recently finished my Interrail trip and out of curiosity I went to the 'Rail Planner' application to review my route, with all the statistics.I realized that it has not been updated properly, I have visited four countries but there is only one colored flag out of four and the map shows me certain routes that I have not completed.What needs to be done to update / fix this feature?Gianluca P.

I contacted my bank (Triodos) and they say the following:“The reason the payment was declined is that the merchant’s acquiring bank did not send enough data through in the authorisation request for strong customer authentication to be performed.In the UK new legislation is being introduced to reduce fraud and as a result, you may be asked to verify your identity when making a purchase online. My wife and I have purchased a Euro rail global pass. I was trying to  book a train from Bergen to Stockholm via Oslo. The platform sends me to Rail Ninja for the  portion of the trip Bergen-Oslo.Do I need tp pay this portion even though I have the global pass?Thank you

Who is still selling paper Eurailpasses? In particular Benelux and Rhine Pass.

Good day,  I am traveling on the NJ 469 train from Paris-Wein and I see on the itinerary that it briefly stops at several cities along the way. I assumed that a passenger is able to exit the train at any station and not ride it all the way to Vienna. Does the train actually stop and allow passengers to de-board?Thank you for any assistance you can provide.Best, Eric

As far as I can understand, website and app don’t work together so I would like to know if I can start making seat reservation (following the plan I’ve connected to the pass on the app) and later activate it, adding the ID and the date of departure. I’m asking this because I’ve linked the trip to my pass on the app, but I don’t see it on the website.Another question is the fact that I’d like to reserve seat also for my sister and I can add her as a traveler to my trip on the website, but again this is not visible on the app. So if I book the seats for both of us now, can we activate later separately the pass on the app?Thank you so much!

 I booked some seat reservations in September 12th , which cost 105euro. The fee was charged successfully but till now, I haven't received the ticket or confirmation via my email. Can you check it for me? I made two orders, the first order had issues as above, the second order was successful and had tickets delivered.

How long does it take for Eurail Customer service to provide Pass Cover Number for mobile pass?First time novice holidaying in France.  Bought 2 Eurail Mobile Pass hoping to use for the Paris - Avignon trip planned in late May.  I’m having problem reserving seats using the Eurail App or the Interrail.eu web site, or the RailEurope web site.There is just no price listed to proceed with the seat reservation.  See screen shot below from Eurail. In reading various posts in the forum, it appears having a Pass Cover Number may help to allow to reserve seats.  I emailed Eurail Customer Service some 2.5 days ago, also sent a request through this forum, for 2x PassCoverNumber for our 2x Mobile Pass, but so far, haven’t received any info from Eurail, apart from the (not helpful) generic acknowledgement email that “we’ve got your email”…If there is Eurail customer service rep on this forum who could provide me Pass Cover Number, that’d be good. thanks. I’ve already spent hours and hours reading b

Hi everyone,My bag with my passport got stolen on the Zurich-Ljubljana night train.I have contacted my embassy for an emergency passport to travel, but then the number on my passport won't match with the number on my global pass in the app.Will this be a big problem? And if so, how can I solve it? I have contacted customer support but haven't received an answer yet.Thanks in advance!
