Get ready to travel

Hello there,i just planned to book the ferries for my trip to Paros, Greece in august.I plan to travel to paros on 11th of August.How come the earliest starting date for the pass activation is the 13th of August? It seems quite a long time in advance to book it, and i feel terrible for being 2 days late to book it, since it seems like a neat deal.Is there a way to get it activated from the 11th of August?Im thankful for useful answers!

I did my checkout and my friend on other computer too and we can’t proceed to our payment even though everything is correct pls help im losing my mind 

Booking a train from budapest to bucuresti, i can fill every information in the cart but the process is blocked at “process with payment”. The conditions are accepted  

Hii, Me and my friends are trying to pay for our seat reservations. Nevertheless, we can’t click on the button which leads us to the payment. We will be travelling in about a month so we really need to book, otherwise the trains will be full. Does anybody know a solution on how to fix this?

Hi! My pass in the name NIKOLAOS RACHIOTIS is not activated and is valid until 30/9/22. There had been another trip that is now named “this one should be deleted “ the pass was NEVER activated but I cannot delete the trip and it has made the pass expiration date earlier and therefore I cannot make reservations for the trip I need to. The app deleted it but the site does not let me. Please help me, I need to do the reservations and I can’t

Hi , holding a French Eurail pass and unable to make seat reservations for trains to/from Trouville/Deauville and Paris.   Eurail website site shows reservations are required but unavailable but this cannot be correct as showing same for next 2 months - obviously a glitch with the system. Any help appreciated. thank you 

Hello everybody,I have a global pass and would like to take the bergensbanen from Bergen to Oslo in Norway. Do I need to make a reservation in advance or can I just hop on the train?

 Should I only be able to view my "ticket" in my pass, one day at a time, as that day arrives?

My friend bought a mobile pass for me as a present, but entered the wrong country of residence by mistake.  I have asked customer service to change but they say it’s not possible.. but everywhere on this forum I see that people did manage to get the country changed.. what can I do? I am planning to travel in August so still some time left. I do not have the funds to by a new card myself.. 

Hi, I just booked seat reservations from Amsterdam to Nice and Nice to Wien, and the total of my cart was at 118 euro. As I was getting to point where I pressed “Agree to terms and conditions” the price recalculated and shot up to 266 euro, more than double. What the fuck? I am already super disappointed in how much the mandatory seat reservations cost to the point where I’m thinking why did I even buy the pass? What’s the point of the pass if the seat reservations end up costing as much as the pass?

Hello, can seat reservations still be made for the Eurostar train on September 20 from London to Paris or Brussels? I haven’t booked the Pass so I cannot look.

Hey Interrail Team,I want to change my country of residence, when  I bought the pass it was put to Germany. But my actual Country of Residence is Austria. I read that it is possible to change before the start of travelling. I havent yet activated my pass, could you change it for me or I should I proceed? Hello, I would have liked to make the trip Toulouse>Stuttgart (by train without reservation) I saw yesterday that it was cancelled so I decided to change the trip and leave on Sunday. But I forgot to deactivate my travel day to activate the other one. I only have 4 days on my pass. Is it possible that you cancel the 3rd day of travel so that I can use it tomorrow? I'm saving the 4th for when I get home.

HiWe have bought German Rail Twin Pass 4 Consecutive Days. On the online ticket, there is only one passenger passport number showing, but we put two names in there, it’s showing two names. Two of us will travel together, is it okay to use this ticket as it is?The purchasing process is a bit ambiguous when filling the information.We have already contacted Bahn fahrkartenservice@bahn.de but they replied to let us ask a question on https://www.facebook.com/interrail instead. Rasheed 

Hello,Can I buy normal tickets  Stara Zagora-Istanbul (Halkali) at the international ticket office in Burgas??It is possible to buy  own couchette compartment (only for 2 persons) ?Do you know how many carriages are on the train Bucarest to Istanbul? 

I have train from Bratislava ( 14h06) to Warsaw with one change in Breclav. I have only 6 mins for a change.Do you know if the train to Poland(o thing from Vienna) will be waiting in Breclav if my train from Bratislav is delayed?

Hi everyone, I have a two month interrail pass and it is valid for another 1.5 months as of today. I recently used the pass for a journey which was more than an hour late. Should I wait till end of my pass for compensation of the delay (I plan to travel during the coming days), or can I do it already? Note: I know it's technically possible, but I'm looking for suggestions and best practice :)

Hey, I‘m Giovanna :)I’m travelling with an Eurail Pass trough Scandinavia at the moment. Unfortunately I got Corona and was very very I’ll the last days. Because of that, I had to stay longer in Stockholm, but forget because I was so ill, to cancel one of my travel days. Unfortunately it was the one to go back to my home country. Now I‘m in Stockholm and I want to go back, but I can‘t, because I lost my travel day. Is there any chance to get it back? Hello ,I will be having a EurailPass and Venice to Stuttgart would be my last leg of the journey.I am planning to  travel from Venice to Stuttgart in the following connections.NJ40236 Venice Santa Lucia(21:48) -München( 06:29) and then from München to Stuttgart.Now I understand that I have to take a separate ticket from München to Stuttgart.Can I do the following instead ? Buy a separate train ticket in NJ40236 Venice Santa Lucia(21:48) - Tarvisio Boscoverde (00:35)Buy a seat reservation in NJ40236 Venice Santa Lucia(21:48) -München( 06:29) .Now use the Pass to travel from München to Stuttgart ? The reason why I am doing this is train cost between Venice to Travisio Boscoverde is only 25 euros.I can catch any train from munich to stuttgart and not worry about delays in night jet. 

Hello to everyone, we are planning a  Interrail for the following two weeks and are planning to go to Scandinavia. We are starting in Freiburg in Southern Germany and our first stop is supposed to be Copenhagen. We have to change trains in Hamburg and we were wondering wether it would be possible to take the train from Freiburg early in the morning to Hamburg and spent some hours there and then taking the latest train possible to Copenhagen - is this allowed as a outbound trip? A big thanks

We are a family of 4 heading off interailing on 1 August. We have Eurostar reservations from London  to Brussels. We booked them a while ago but have somehow got standard premier reservations rather than standard - and our pass is 2nd class so doesn't cover standard premier. Our return reservations are fine. We only spotted this today when gathering bits and pieces together.We are not sure how this happened. To be honest our minds were frazzled at the time as one of our kids was in hospital for 8 days and was quite poorly.We have contacted Eurostar but the auto response says it might take 28 days to reply as they are busy.What are our options?  We are happy to pay any extra fees or whatever as it looks like our fault.    

Hello !I want to use my interrail pass to make a reservation on Grimaldi Lines but it doesn't work. I emailed the agency. They replied that my pass number is not valid. How is it possible ? Has this ever happened to anyone?  Thanks ! 

I just finished making my seat reservations for my trip on August 8th. I have the mobile pass. I was wondering when should I activate the pass and can I laminate the seat reservation e ticket?

Hi everyone, hope youre well.after a bit of a headache i realise i will not be needing as many journeys on my interrail pass so i was wondering how quick can they process an exchange from a 7 day to a 5 day as i will be needing it working by tomorrow morning for 6am.
