Get ready to travel

 I bought the Eurail Global Pass for two months and 10 days, in which I plan to use once  way from Madrid to Barcelona and I want to make my reservation, but I don’t know how to do it? My travel is on this 19 setember. Could you help me? 

I activated my pass already but I want to refund it because it has been too much of a pain to try to get seat reservations everywhere I want to go. It takes me hours to book any seat reservation. I am okay with getting the 85% partial refund. My pass says I have used 1/15 travel days, though I haven’t taken a single train in Europe so far so I don’t know why it says that. How do I get a refund? 

My phone broke today and Im supposed to leave in less then 7hr - I cant transfer my pass to my replacement phone, I tried reaching out to the customer service on every way I could find but theyre not answering me anywhere. Please help me out here! The hotels and play tickets etc are already booked and payed for too. I cant reschedule my trip  

I have a mobil ticket but i want to buy a ticket via Interrail but than i have to give my pasnumber, but a pasnumber do you have only when you have a ticket in paper, how can i fix this? I want to travel in a TGV from Paris to St Raphael. 

Hello everyone,I am just trying to make the reservation for my trip but I am unable to book it because the reservation for the INT 79 from BUDAPEST to VIDELE is only available in paper form via the Interrail website. But the trip is less than 10 days away and therefore the reservation via paper ticket is unavailable.Is there any other way to make the reservation digitally?Best regards,Martin

Hello, my Pass seems not longer connected by the App. It is not possible to add a Journey. I have this Problem for two days now. What can I do?Is there somebody who can answer und German?

Hello, I am trying to book trains for Switzerland around the Lauterbrunnen area. Many trains aren’t included in the pass so when I go to look up routes for a seat reservation it says that my pass is not valid. How should I reserve these trains then? Should I wait until I am there to book those trains? And if so, how do I redeem my discount through Eurail on the Switzerland trains? Thank you very much for helping me!

I'd like to reservate some seats, but when i click on the 2e class there is no buttom to click on to add them to my chart.Like you can see. How is this possible?

Hi all! We wanted to book the night train from Utrecht to Zurich but the reservation option requires us to change in Basel which apparently isn’t allowed for an outbound overnight train. So instead we will go for the non reservation option but I’m worried that it will be too full?? Any suggestions and tips on how to navigate this would be appreciated! 

Hi guys, I just found out about Eurail, and I am full of questions!I am Portuguese, and my Passport is Portuguese, whoever, I am a resident in the UK and my Passport also states it was issued here - does this still count as being European? When booking a trip, let’s say Berlin would be my first stop, do I start the trip from London to Berlin, or would I need to travel to Berlin first, and the other way around? As in, do I include London as a travel day both ways? The (example) 3 days across one month, so that means only the actual travel covers one day, but I can stay for example 5 days in that destination? If a train takes longer from x country to x country than 24 hours (I doubt but just to understand), is that also seen as one day of travel?Sorry for all the questions! Just making sure I get it right before booking in :)

Hi there. When I go to book a seat reservation when I go to checkout it only allows the option for paper ticket delivery which I don’t want. I’m sure you can get a online reservation emailed. Does anyone know why I can’t seem to change this? 

Hey everybody,following situation:Mobile Global Pass for 5 days.Booked a seat on ICE 502 21:38 from Berlin to Hamburg 23:33 (29.07.). The train had a 110min delay. We arrived at Hamburg at around 01:04 (30.07.). The app requested the first inbound/outbound journey.We originally had a seat reservation for a train 390 at 23:56 (29.07.) to Kopenhagen arriving 06:50 (30.07.).But we were stuck in Hamburg and could continue at 09:43 30.07. (with several changes) to Kopenhagen with arrival at 16:03 30.07.The interrail app requested a second inbound/outbound journey to be able to book the train.Now I am worried, what will happen when I will travel back home on 14.08. from Stockholm to Berlin. I guess that the app will request another inbound/outbound journey. Which will not be possible.Am I correct to be concerned?What can I do?Is there a way to somehow cancel the first outbound?Any suggestions?Thabks for any help!Kind regards, Sebastian

Hi, I'm trying to get on a train from Basel to Amsterdam on Aug 1 around 3PM. If the train is fully reserved and I don't happen to find a seat, will I be allowed to stand in the train while waiting for someone to get off in the coming stops? I read that in some review but just wanted to make sure. 

Hi yallMe and my sister are traveling from Barcelona to Nimes and trough that to Genoa eventually.Because of the french railway strikes all lines have been cancelled on the 30th and probably the 31st of july and we are stuck on the border in Portbou without any clear idea of how to get to france.We have seen other possible interrailers in the same situation so we wanted to know if there is anyone else inour shoes.Our destination is Genoa, but if we could get to Perpignan we could take a bus from there or something. Hi All,I am from India and planning to visit norway somewhere around end of august. Oslo will be are location for stay. We are planning to a trip for stavenger and bergen via train. Can someone please guide if its compulsory to obtain europe eurail pass before starting the journey via train. Also, if we do not take this pass, how can we travel around?

I’m still deciding whether to ;purchase a pass and need to know if there is seat availability for Eurail pass holder from Paris to Luzern on 13 Aug. Any ideas how to find this? thanks 

Hey! I need to go from Berlin to Gothenburg, and one of of the trains to go there (Hamburg to Copenhagen) seems to be fully booked for weeks! Does anyone know what will happen if I just enter the train without any reservation, and just sit on the floor? Could i get kicked off or get a fee? Or is it okay? 

Hello, As of what I understood trains marked as green I dont have to reserve and I can just go in right? So, why do some of them appear as unavailable???

 Hola, quiero reservar asientos con interrail global pass electrónico, pero al intentar reservar, me indica que la reserva se emite con Billete en Papel, no me permite pagar, y por lo tanto no puedo reservar. Me indica “Tu pedido contiene uno o más boletos impresos. Según nuestros cálculos, tu pedido no llegará a tiempo. Envía tus reservas a otra dirección o a tu hotel en Europa, o intenta reservar en una estación de tren europea.”Como lo puedo hacer para que la compra sea con billetes e-tickets? Hi guys! A friend of mine and i we are doing a trip starting from Prague (Czech Republic) then Vienna (Austa) to Munich (Germany) and then to Paris (France) and after that we are going to back to Frankfurt (Germany). Are we allowed to back to Germany using the Global Pass 5 days in one month?. Thanks in advance!

So my pass somehow got activated and took a travel day on July 2. I asked for this to be undone because I didn’t even start using it until the end of July.  I was given one day back, but my pass expires TOMORROW (!!!) and I need to keep using it past then. I have 3 travel days (half of my pass) that will go to waste if not, AND I will be stranded with no way to get around.  Please if anyone knows what to do or how to get in immediate contact with support let me know. 💗 I am so upset and stressed about this. 

Using the Eurail app, it doesn’t seem to have accurate information on schedules and express or transfer details. I believe I have the latest update for the app. Any advice on getting updated schedules?

Hola,Empezaremos el viaje el día 10 o día 11 de agosto, desde Barcelona a Marsella. Somos tres personas y tenemos el viaje organizado, hemos visto los trenes, horarios, todo, para reservar (desde aplicación)  y todo parecía correcto. Lo guardé en el carrito de compras para pagar, ingresé mi nombre y datos, pero no me pasó a ninguna opción para hacer la compra, no pidió tarjeta ni nada. No se cómo hacerlo. Es posible comprar todas las reservas de tren desde aplicación? Cuando hablan de boletos, se refieren a imprimir boletos o a qué es necesario comprarlos en alguna estación? Cuando haces reservas, es posible coger asientos juntos, por número, en cada pase? Os agradecería mucho si alguien me puede ayudar, saludos
