Get ready to travel

Hi.  i have bought a 5 days pass for me and my boyfriend for last autumn. We couldnt go so we planned on going this summer. But it seems that the 11 months period is expiring before july (when we planned to go). I also unfortunately already actived my pass because i was panicking and i didnt really know how to use the pass correctly. Can i get a refund or its possible to push the start date a month ahead?  sadly i couldnt get to anyone for the custumer service for the past 2 weeks hopefully anyone can help me :(

Hello! I booked a night train but I am not sure if I have a sleeper seat. There was not an option to choose. Does that mean the train has no sleeper seats? I tried contacted Eurail so hopefully I can find out for sure and change it if needed but has anyone ever gone through something similar? Thanks!

Helloi  can’t book a train from Copenhagen to. Stockholm (we will travel on 29 July). can we book the ticket in Copenhagen? Or is there an other way to book online ?thanks!

Hi!I’m researching different train websites and trying to book seat reservations (for 2 people) for our trip in early September.I am having a few issues: not all of the train journeys/timetables are the same as on the Interrail app (showing different times, showing different changes etc), and they all appear to be sold out or unavailable to reserve on all websites (despite the rail planner app saying reservations are mandatory). Is it likely that these trains would be sold out with just less than 2 months to go? If not, would we be able to book them once we get to the country at the train station or even on the day?My route is (using times shown on interrail app):8th September:Salzburg (1:40am) - Lesce-Bled (7:30am): with a change at Schwarzach-St.Veit 2:30am-4:25amDo you know if this night journey will have sleepers, or is it just seats?This is the train journey giving us the most issues. Hello, I am trying to find information: 1)me and 12,8,7 yrs will start off tommorow, my son 17 yrs will come 5 day later via london (have own mobile app) - that should be possible  2) 12/8 I will have to come back home to let 3 children be also with their father  and another  day 13/8 I would like to travel to Norway with the oldest son. On 21/8 I would like to pick up the 3 at home and continue travelling for one week. Is my plan possible? many Thanks!!!

Hi! I reserved a seat on a train going from Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux. This was not possible via the interrail website, but it worked fine from the second link and a QR code was sent to my email. However, is it possible to add this ticket to the app anyways? Or do I always have to show it from email/printed if I make a reservation from an external system? (they also didn’t ask for the number of my interrail pass so it might not be connected?)

Hello, I was logged in to the discover eu app on my phone and had added my interrail pass there. Then I deleted the app off my phone and redownloaded it but when I try to log in the app tells me that my account is already connected to another device. I don’t know what to do, I travel in 1 week. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it a lot.

Hi, about 2 weeks ago I booked seat reservations for my EU rail pass for my family on the TGV from Perpignan to Paris on 27 Aug. My credit card has been charged but I've had no email conformation, and when I email customer services I get no response. Any ideas how to sort this would be welcome, thanks!

Hi, I will be spending aday in Sighisoara, Romania before travelling onwards. Does anyone know that there is a luggage storage/ locker at the train station? Not sure if COVID closed down some of the luggage locker shops! Thanks,

I was looking for a connection from Lyon to Madrid in October. By default if shows me this one:07:06 LYON PERRACHE (France) OGV 7811 Low Cost High Speed Train (not sold via Hermès) 08:08 AVIGNON TGV (France)0h 32m Change trains08:40 AVIGNON TGV (France) RSC 9731 Renfe SNCF Cooperation15:45 MADRID-PUERTA DE ATOCHA (Spain) I even enabled “only trains included in Pass network” but it still shows me this one. Only when I change the layover time I get another connection with another SNCF train. Since I cannot use OUIGO with interrail, why does the timetable tool still show this train? It is a bit confusing, because I thought that I only get valid trains especially with the option activated. If someone from the team is reading this, is this maybe an error and should be solved?

Hi everyone, I have already made reservations for the trains for my travel route, only now, by double checking, it tells me that the Brussels-Midi - Amsterdam Centraal route is mandatory.  When I bought the reservations it said it wasn't.  Can anyone tell me which are the mandatory routes and which are not?  my journey is: London-Amsterdam on 07/08 at 08: 26-16: 14.  Amsterdam-Berlin on 09/08 at 20: 30-05: 36.  Berlin-Prague on 13/08 at 09: 16-13: 35.  Prague-Munich on 15/08 at 07: 38-13: 18.  Please help me that I can't understand.

Hi all! I am trying to book the sleeper from Bucharest to Halkali. I see that this is possible to do over the Romanian railway company website, but trying to do it from the interrail.eu website produces a message saying there are likely no tickets left for pass holders. This error message appears regardless of the date I select though, so is it even possible to book via the interrail website?  i just ask because I don’t want to pay more if it is possible to use the pass! thanks!

Is it possible to take a train which says seat reservation required without buying it if you just stand the whole journey?

My phone broke yesterday and I had to factory reset it. I redownloaded the interrail app but can't add my global pass as it says it's already been activated on a different device. I contacted customer services via the form on the website yesterday but I've had no reply. I URGENTLY need to access my pass again as I need to travel again tomorrow .please please help.Thank you

URGENT! I am stuck in Bulgaria with only days of accommodation left. My mobile phone was stolen on Sunday the 24th Of July in Bulgaria, I have now bought myself a new phone but cannot add my pass to it as it is still connected to my old one. This is very urgent I will soon be stuck homeless in Bulgaria and need to leave very soon to get to my booked accommodation in Greece. Please I need help adding my pass to my new phone otherwise I will be stuck.

I want to visit a friend in Munich for a few days during my trip from Amsterdam, but I need to go back to Amsterdam for a few days before continue travelling.Does an Eurail pass allow that?

How can I get a refund on a booking? The site says just cancel your booking ... But it's not like it's always been true so far and I wanted to be sure

My daughter was too poorly to go traveling with her friends but now wants to meet them in Paris at the weekend. She has a second class interrail pass and her journey home is already booked. There are only Business Premier tickets to go out to Paris. How can she upgrade so that she can get a seat? She is happy to pay the extra. Thanks

I'm wondering about the TrainOSE bus/train combination between Patras and Piraeus that is included with the Eurail Greek Islands 6 Day Pass. Does anyone know if it’s necessary to make a reservation or buy a ticket prior to boarding, or can you simply board by showing your pass? If you have to make a reservation, how do you do so? The TrainOSE website doesn't seem to offer the Eurail/Interrail pass as discount option.

I booked multiple reservations on Saturday as part of a month long trip. The money left my bank account but I have not received a single email confirmation and the reservations are not showing on my account nearly 48 hours later. I need confirmation as I have hotels booked in multiple cities.

Booked my tickets an hour ago with my friends, they both received confirmation emails almost instantly whilst I got nothing. The money for the tickets has left my account despite not receiving anything in terms of confirmation. Anyone have any suggestions other than contacting customer service? Is this a common problem?

Hello! I’m studying abroad at in England this year and have a student visa residency card. By the time I’m looking to travel (March-April) I’ll have been here for 6 months. Should I buy a Interrail or a Eurail pass? I know that to buy Eurail you have to be outside of Europe, which I will not be, but my passport is American. Thanks for the help!
