Get ready to travel

Hi,I am going inter-railing with my son this summer; my friend is also going inter-railing with her 2 children at the same time.  We have decided to do the “first leg” together.  I am trying to book Eurostar tickets, from London to Paris, for all 5 of us to ensure we have seats together.  However, I seem to need to add my friends pass number and her children’s pass numbers to my trip on my mobile app in order to book seats for them.  I’m aware that each pass is only allowed to be on one device, does anyone know if I add my friends pass number to ‘my trip' in order to reserve the seats does that then mean their passes are on my device?  We are not travelling beyond Paris together so I don’t want to end up with them not being able to travel without my phone!Thanks 

Hi there, I am trying to reserve a seat for the Eurostar between London St Pancras International and Brussels. No matter which date or service I select I am unable to do so, either on the Eurrail website and Eurostar. Can anybody help?  Thank you! 

I booked seat reservations on Eurail.com on my laptop and printed out the seat reservations.  I have also downloaded the Rail Planner to which I attached my Mobil Eurail Pass.  Do I have to attach the seat reservations to the app or can I just use my paper confirmation of seats?  Thank you.  P.S. I just realized that the start date states 24Aug, when I am actually traveling on 25Aug.  How do I change that?  Thanks again! 

Hello, I'm planning a trip to Italy with my friend for August. We bought our tickets on oebb website for most our trip in Italy, but when we tried to look for Firenze SMN to Pisa centrale it says "tickets not available" for all trains. Does it means all the train are full? Cause I have a hard time believing it… is there another website where we can book the train tickets for Italy?  

Hey, i booked a seat reservation for direct train from Lyon to Barcelona. My question is if it’s possible to get in a stop after Lyon or two? Or do I have to board that train when my trip starts at the reservation.  thanks best regards luis 

My friend and I want to take the ferry from Italy to Greece, which is free with out global pass. Something that we cannot find exactly is that the free ferry will cost a travel day. So our question is: do you have to use a travel day to take the ferry between Italy and Greece (the free ferry)?

Hi,we´re travelling tomorrow Lyon-Arles and I´d like to check if the Interrail pass is accepted again? I just found the tweet saying so but don´t know how official it is, i.e. if I can show this to the ticket inspector in case they say No, you need to get a ticket.

 I have a query regarding the Global pass which is for 7 days in month.I have done all my seat reservations but just wanted to check with you whether my plan was within the 7 day ticket limit.Here is the itinerary :Aug 1st : Roma - Austria (Night jet train)Aug 2nd: evening Austria - Warsaw (Night train)Aug 4th : Warsaw - Prague (night train)Aug 5th : Prague - Budapest (Night train) Aug 6th: Budapest - Slovenia (Night train) Start Europe ticket Aug 7th - Slovenia to villach Aug 8th - 00:55 am Villach to Roma (9:20 am) same day.  Just want to know I'm within the 7 day pass limit and not crossing it, as I don’t want pay more money later on. When you want to buy an interrail ticket you only get the gender options male and female. Is it not possible for nonbinary folks to travel by interrail?

im a little concerned if I buy the eurail ticket and there is no availability on the train. The system only tells me the price of the seat reservation. Does that mean there are seats?I looked from Brussels to London and it gave me a price for the seats on the 21st July. Does that mean there is availability? please if you can clarify because I don’t want to buy the eurail it and there are no seats on the trains 

I have the same issue as Pia with Step 3 of the Activation process! What was the solution for Pia?I note that my ID/ Passport details are not visible in my Order Overview, which is probably the reason why all my password attempts are being rejected when I try to enter my passport number.URGENT: I need a quick solution as I need to activate my Pass on 5 JulyRemarksI do not recall ever having created a password for using the app, only a password for My Interrail Account, so it seems strange to ask the user to enter a password that was never created! There does not seem to be a place in My Interrail Account to add/change a password, or what the current password is. This is not user-friendly.

Hi, I’ve bought a interrail pass to go on Vacation to Italy. My plan was to take a night train from Amsterdam to Zuerich and use the same connection to go back. The train is run by the Night Jet as well as by the DB as an IC connection. I wanted to book the seat reservation but for both trains, the option was not available anymore. However, when I tried to book on the Deutsche Bahn app, the trains were available without any seat reservation necessary. Is it necessary to even buy a seat reservation for these trains then, if they would also be considered IC connections that apparently do not require a seat reservation? I really wanna take the night train connections as those are the fastest and most convienent. Could I just board the train then without making a seat reservation? I hope someone can help! And thanks in advance!! :-)

OkJust finalized my Global passes for two of us to travel.We are not from europe and our cel phone provider is expensive to use for everyday in multipal countries in europe.If we activate the cel phone with the passes now can we change the sim card to another carrier without affecting the passes?Thanks.

So, I want to travel from Bremen (GER) to Liverpool (UK) with a train, I bought a Pass and activated it with the app. Now I am looking for a good connection. I started to looking for it with google maps and found the route Bremen - Cologne - Bruxelles - London - Liverpool. It is starting at a good time and I don’t need switch as often as I would with other connections.Then I found the exact same route in the app, starting at the same time and taking the same first two trains from Bremen to Cologne and from Cologne to Bruxelles. But the next train from Bruxelles to London is for some reason two hours later then what google maps suggested to me. Even the website of Eurostar, which is the train from Bruxelles to London, says that there is a train 15.56 and at 17.56 but the app only shows the second train for which I would need to wait two and a half hours.So, my question is, is there any way to change only some trains or like only certain parts of your connection within the app because I

Hi! I’m planning on travelling from France to Greece and then coming back via Italy. I want to take the 3 month pass, but does that include the island hopping in Greece (and ferry back to Italy) that the “6-day Greek Islands Pass” covers? Or do I need to buy both? Thanks!

Why can’t I find train to rijen, Netherland (or Breda) on euro rail website, does it mean Rjen is not covered by Eurorail?  Rijen does have a train station.

Hello!I have been looking during the entire day for trains for 2 people where you are able to sleep from Hamburg. The information is very confusing and not straightforward so I’ve been stuck at this rote for many many hours. Are there any nighttrains available going to Paris (seems like no), Zurich, Prague, Krakow or something else available the 25th July (or alternatively 26th July)?  If someone knows I’m very grateful for your help. We’ve already paid parts of the trip, so any route thats pretty convenient regarding sleep from Hamburg would be good.Thanks a lot!

Hi! Trying to get from Prague to Copenhagen tomorrow. Eurail app says I don’t need reservations but I think it’s a lie. Any tips? I don’t mind taking the long way as long as it’s one travel day. Helppppp?

I am looking to reserve some seats on a train from Oslo to Copenhagen (via Gotenborg). The App says I need to reserve the seat but I cannot do it through the app or the website, (I seem to have this problem reserving any seats through the app/website and have booked them all through the train companies themselves). Does anyone know the best place to go to book a reservation for this train? Many thanks

Hi, my girlfriend and I are looking to book some French and Italian trains which require a cover number, but we both have mobile passes. I’ve gathered this is a v common problem, so was hoping somebody would be able to sort us out with some cover numbers asap so that these trains don’t get all booked up!(i will happily provide both mine and my girlfriend’s reference number via pm) Thanks!
