Get ready to travel

Hello Community,  recently i have picked my journey from Venice (ITA) to Nice (FRA). I have checked it via  eurail webpage, and i have also booked requested reservation for trains in Italia (Frecciarossa 9728 (from Venice to Milano Centrale) and also for FrecciaBianca 909 from Milano Centrale to Ventimiglia).When i tried to add these journeys to my trip, i am not able to find second train in Italia (FrecciaBianca 909) So currently i have Ticket in railplanner app + reservation from Venice to Milan, Then i have Reservation from Milan to Ventimiglia, and then i have ticket in railplanner app  from Ventimiglia to Nice (reservation here is not required).Please can you help me how can i add a ticket to railplanner app for part of my journey from Milan to Ventimiglia? Or what should i do to have proper documents ready?It would be good if somebody can help me before Wednesday  21.7.Thanks in advance.Br,Pavol.

I have an two month ticket and I plan to go home in the middle. I know that you can only enter and leave your own country once. I am prepared to pay if I leave and enter the second time that is not a problem. My question is if my pass ends if I enter my home country in the first month already? 

HI, I have a global pass on the app. Some time ago I took the dates and the trains and I activated the code (stupid me). Later on I changed my mind and, since I saw it was possible to cancel the trains and reschedule and I did it. Now it says that I can’t activate the new trains cause I have “no travel days left”. And it doesn't make me cancel the travel days either. I’m supposed to start my interrail tomorrow, what can I do??

Hi!I’m travelling from Holland to Sweden soon and reserved seats quite some time ago for the direct train from Hamburg to Copenhagen. When I look for the itinerary in the app or online, I get very different results then I did when I reserved the tickets. On the DB and NS website, my planned itinerary is still available.Is this because the train I reserved is full? Can I still take this train even though the connection doesn’t show up on the website/app?Many thanks!  

I have booked my return trip from Amsterdam to London on Eurostar but now want to change the travel date to later by 2 days.   is the only way to do this by contacting Interail by email.  or is there another method?  

I have changed my movile phone and now i can’t get my pass because it is active in the oldest phone. So how can i solve this problem? Please it’s very urgent because my trip starts in less than two weeks, so if anyone have this problem and could give me an answers it will be very nice. Thank you so much

I'm planning on travelling from Barcelona tot Madrid next week, but you can't make online reservations for Spanish domestic trains. I've found the forum about making a reservation for Spanish domestic trains but I find all options quite complicated except booking on the spot at a Spanish ticket office. Is it too risky not to try to make the reservation in advance but booking it a day in advance when I get in Spain so I can go to a ticket office once I'm there?

Hey everyone,I have a question regarding my outbound journey. I know that i can use several trains in my home country as long as it is on the day of my outbound journey. That is correct, right?But is it also okay if I use my outbound journey and not actually cross the border on that day? I would need to take several trains from my home town in Germany to a different town in Germany where I would spend one night. The next day, I would actually leave the country with a separate ticket that is not linked to my Global Pass in any way. Thank you!

Hi I have a 1st class eurail pass, I have a travel Brussels to London at the 18th of July. All seats looks reserved, and "Reserve a seat is obligatory". What should I do? I can't travel?

Hello, I Want to take the RJX261 train from Wien to Budapest tonight, at 21:43. The interrail app says I need an obligatory seat reservation. However, I think according to Austrian trains official website this reservation is not obligatory. I'm not sure about It so, can anybody solve my doubt? Thank you

Hi, I’m going interrailing for the first time next week. One journey we are trying to find a way to book is Marseilles → Barcelona on August 10th, but we are struggling to do so because it seems like we can only book a paper ticket. We are leaving the country on Tuesday though and it says it will take 2 weeks to be delivered, which is obviously when we won’t be home. Can we just book a ticket when we arrive in Marseilles on July 6th, or will this be too late? Thanks.

Hello, I have booked seat reservations for my friend and myself for our first travel day. I have saved the journey in my rail planner app and activated it as a travel day. My friend, though, is unable to do the same as the journey is sold out and therefore does not appear in the app anymore. How is she then supposed to have a valid, activated ticket for the journey? As mentioned before, both of us have a valid interrail pass as well as booked seat reservations for the journey.We are looking forward to receiving help as soon as possible!Kind regards,Signe Marie Juul Nielsen

Could anyone help with some advice?! I am planning on going to Paris next week (20th July 2022) but I can’t seem to find any seat reservations available?  if anyone can give me any advice (I’m happy to take long routes and different changes if it means I can get to Paris with my interrail pass!)  thank you!!!

So I have planned a long trip home to Sweden. I will travel night jet from Zuerich to Hamburg, arrival 07:54 the 19th. And then I had saved a train that didn’t need reservations from Hamburg to Fredericia that departed 08:56 and arrived 12:14 in Fredericia. From there I would take a train to the Copenhagen airport and from there to Stockholm. The problem is that interrail has removed the train from Hamburg to Fredericia on the 19th? This really messes up my journey because with other trains I will not make it to my train to Stockholm. The thing is also that the train still exists, for example the Deutsche Bahn website still has it. Why would I not be able to travel on my interrail on that train? Or do you think I can take the train and then just show my pass without an actual qr-code, since I will not be able to add the journey to my trip. Please help me, I’m traveling soon!!!

Hello On the 18th of july we want to travel from Pula to Ljubljana (stay the night) and the next day within 24 hrs to Graz. If you type Pula - Graz via Ljubjana it doesnot give an option so I planned two trips. Will this be seen as one trip within 24 hrs (because i have two qr codes)? I am afraid it will count as two days. Or is it better to make a trip from Pula to Graz and then ignore the fact it is going via Maribor for example?

Hello, I wanted to book a reservation from Kil (Sweden) to Kongsvinger (Norway) today, because its required. But the reservation side doesnt list the train we want to travel with (19:55). Hello everyone! In May I have won an Interrail Mobile Pass and I’ll start my journey in August. On the website I noticed that it says that you need to respect a budget of 251 Euros during your travel. Can somebody please explain what it means? Does it mean the Pass covers only 251 Euros of tickets? So if I travel from A to B and the ticket would normally cost 180 Euros, it means I have spent 180 Euros of my pass? Thank you in advance, I hope I explained myself clearly :)

Hello! I’m needing to travel from Geneva, Switzerland to Barcelona, Spain on the 17th of July 2022. I’ve been checking everyday  but every given route has reservations unavailable. Does anyone know if there are any alternate routes to Barcelona I can take? I have an extra travel day if needed. Thank you for any help!

Hi guysmy home journey does not show in the app so I wanted to add it manually. However I have to to change in my home country. As I need to add every leg separately it will have a journey within my home country which is not allowed. Any ideas how to overcome this? thanks!!!

Hi, I need to change the device I’m using my pass on from my iPhone to my iPad. I downloaded the app on both of the devices, my phone and my Tablet because I thought it would automatically synchronize with each other (I didn’t know that you could only use one device). At that moment it was easier for me to plan my journey and activate my pass on my iPad but when I travel I want to use my phone.Now I can’t change my device because there is an alert notice popping up that I’m already using the pass on another device (on my own device - my iPad). My journey doesn’t start until August 3, 2022 so I hoped that support service could possibly deactivate my pass so that I can activate it again on my phone.I’m thankful for every help and tips I can get! 

I’m trying to book the night train from Naples to Turin (InterCity Notte 35496) but can’t find it listed in the reservation section of the Interrail site.  On the TrenItalia site, the train shows up as having plenty of seats available in all classes of travel, but there’s no way to connect a reservation to my interrail pass. Does anyone know how to do this?Thanks!

Beste reizigers,24/7 kom ik per Thalys aan in Parijs Noord om 19.35. Ik wordt 26/7 in Riposto, Italië verwacht. Het lijkt mij het beste, snelste van Parijs naar Milaan te reizen zo mogelijk per nachttrein. Vervolgens Milaan - Riposto. Heeft iemand suggesties om deze reis zo snel en goedkoop mogelijk te regelen? Ik heb zelf een beetje rondgekeken maar loop steeds tegen urenlange overstappen midden in de nacht aan. Daar zie ik erg tegenop. Mocht ik ergens mogelijk vroeg in de avond aankomen dan is een overnachting geen probleem mits ik maar uiterlijk 26/7 in de avond in Riposto arriveer..…Mijn hartelijke dank, Celesta
