Does anyone know how I could get a reservation for a bed in a single sleeping compartment for the IR 407 "Corona" train between Budapest and Brasov? (this is another route than the Dacia and Ister night trains)Somewhat to my surprise, the Interrail reservation service is able to book reservations, but only on paper tickets, for which I am a bit too late already (departure 19/07).I know I can purchase this at the train station in Budapest, but are there any advance options I am missing?Thanks!

Hi, I was wondering if i can return my paper passes (purchased prior to covid) to change to Mobile passes for my upcoming travel. I would like to book my reservations now as it seems seats/times are running out. Please help. Travelling to Europe next week. I have emailed Eurail support my paper passes and waiting for a response so they can confirm it can be returned. And if confirmed i can repurchase Mobile tickets and wait for a refund for my paper passes. 

On my previous journey, there are a total of 4 days that I will need to activate my EURAIL Flexi pass to travel between countries, however, I was not able to activate the pass on any single day. I already contacted the customer service but they only reply that they would response within 48 hours, but until now, there are still no response. And because of that, I need to pay for a train ticket fee, which I should no be paying because I already purchased the Eurail pass. Is it possible to refund the ticket fee, since this issue is the Eurail’s responsibility? 

My friends and I booked 4 second class passes. We wanted to travel through Italy, so we had to reserve seats for those trains in Italy. We decided to do this via Interail. However, they sent us reservations for first class.So now we want to cancel the second class passes and book 4 first class passes, because there are no second class seats available on any other website. Our question is: can we still use the first class seat reservations we received with our new, first class passes, or are those reservations linked to our second class passes, because we booked those seats via our second class passes on Interrail?

 I am travelling around Europe and I am trying to book a night train ticket from Prague to Budapest. When I am booking my reservation on Eurail website it says “E-ticket unavailable” and prompts me to fill information to have a paper ticket delivered to my hotel.  does anyone know a different way to book this with no paper ticket needed?

Dear community, i am very upset. We bought the Greek Island Pass 6 days, long time ago in orther to planify our holidays with time and to avoid complications.  From more than 4 weeks we are trying to make a reservation using our pass with the only company that has service to Lemnos (Blue Star Ferries). We phoned several times, it’s very difficult to be attended and almost impossible to make the reservation with the pass, when we finally thought it was done, but they made only the booking for the car (obviously not included on the pass) the reservation for us was for an other day! When we finally could cancelled it we couldn’t make another reservation for the day that we have our car, maybe just our car will go on holiday. The problem is that by phone they say that our pass is not valid for the 5th of August, out of date they say (it is for one month and we start on the 3 of August!!) online it is impossible to.  They told us to talk with Interrail. We sent more mails to the ferry compa

Hi Guys! We would like to buy a greek island pass But we need it very soon. Does anyone know where in the Netherlands You can buy it? 

The journey in question is Strasbourg → Munich on the 22nd of July at 10:50. The journey is through 3 trains (1 regional and the rest ICE).When I book on Eurail, I’m having to pay about 32 euros per train (8 euro x 4 passengers). So this amounts to 64 euros for the entire journey.But when I plug the same info into the Bahn website, I’m getting 8 euros for the entire journey?I know what a bargain is but this seems a bit much :) Have I done something wrong or is there something I’m not aware of?

Hi there!I‘ve been wondering how I could use my mobile pass as a bus ticket. As for train rides, you need to select your train in the app to activate the ticket, but I can‘t find any bus connections. I‘d like to use it in the city of Zurich and to just spontaneously hop on a bus or other city transport. Do you know how this works?Thanks!

hi, we bought one country pass by mistake and we had to bought global pass again but how can we claim for pass we bought before by mistake though we activated one day also so we dont know what to do now. ugh !!!!!!

I am a UK resident and travelling in august to Italy then Slovenia then Croatia-do I need a Visa for any countries?

I am wondering which pass is appropriate - or indeed, whether I would have the choice / right to buy either?I am a UK citizen (with UK passport) but have long term residence in Hong Kong. I have a Hong Kong identity card, but not a Hong Kong passport. It looks as though the Eurail would be the best option as it would allow me more travel in the UK. Would an ID card be accepted for this, or do you have to have an overseas passport? I assume with the online passes they link up / verify passport numbers in some way - would I therefore fail to activate the pass with just an ID card and no passport? 

I am trying to book seat reservation everything goes in the basket but cant process

Hello everybody,I want to travel from Strasbourg (France) to Kassel (Germany). For the first train from Strasbourg to Karlsruhe a reservation is needed. For the second train, from Karlsruhe to Kassel, there is no reservation needed. When I want to buy this connection, I only have a reservation for the first train, for the second not. And that confuses me. When I bought my tickets for my outward journey from Germany to France, I had one train with reservation and one without, too. But there the train without reservation was booked too, so in my Mobile pass I have a ticket for that train.  What do I have to do now?  How can I book trains where no reservation is needed?(I have a mobile pass) Best regardsJohanna

Hello,I recently booked seat reservations for me and my friend for our trip to italy in august. The reservations i received are all located in the 1st class of the trains even though  we have 2nd class interrail passes. I suppose that we are not allowed to sit in the 1st class so i would like to get valid reservations for the 2nd class. I already wrote to the customer support but i didn´t receive an answer yet. Actually I don´t think that this is my fault so i really don´t want to pay for all the reservations again.Does anyone have any suggestions what i can do? Best wishes,Laura

Dear Interrail, I am an indian national, residence of france but at the time of applying Eurail I gave the address of netherlands, the place I was then staying. Now, while activating I saw that my country of residecne is shown Netherlands. I haven't activated the pass yet but want to do so ASAP. I have contacted interrail but no response yet in 4 days although I got a mail that I will be contact ed in 2 days. Could you share if there is another contact method if they don't reply soon? I have attached the proof of residence.Although having wrong country of residence will benefit me because I am missing a smaller country but I am worried if wrong information can be used to invalidate my journeys.Best Regards,Gurpreet

I have one country paper passes that are activated for August 15. I didn’t yet make any reservation but want a refund. How do I desactivate these passes or is it not necessary due I didn’t have any train reservation? Please give me a concrete answer with, if needed, concrete instructions.Thanks.

I bought an interrail pass to go from Brussels to Spain and Portugal and to be able to move easily without too much planning. The first destination is Valencia. Unfortunately, I see on the rail planner that there are not so many connections, and of the connections that there are, most I cannot reserve through the railplanner app and it does not clearly say how I can. I just discovered this forum now, and I am a bit lost in all the information here (like, I can book reservations for french trains through Deutsche Bahn?). Any help would be appreciated :-). For now the best plan was taking a bus to Paris, because I assumed there were no bookable trains left because the railplanner app does not show them. But apparently there might be trains that aren't shown in the app?Where/on what website/… should I check for trains, and make the reservations (Brussels-France, within France, and France-Valencia)? I’m trying to reserve a direct night train from Munich to Venice on 22 July (NJ 40463). The system keeps on giving me an error at checkout saying that I need to look for an alternative route. When I search an alternative route, I see the same train (NJ 40463) but it shows that I need to change trains in Austria. It will not let me book the direct train from Munich to Venice, but it allows me to book the first leg to Austria. Can I book the first leg and just stay on the train all the way to Venice? Help is appreciated!

Hi! I have some (probably basic) questions to make sure I’m not going to massively mess up!So if I get the 5 days within one month pass…I can use literally any train in europe? Including the eurostar from and to London?I’ve searched the ‘train times in europe’ section (Lisbon to london) and it’s giving me a price… is that on top of a pass or could I but that trip and not need to buy a pass?  €92 seems really cheap, why would I buy a pass if it’s just that much = I am confused. Thanks!!

Hello guys, I want to travel home from Gothenburg to Frankfurt (Main) but I wont have a connection that will bring me home in one day.I have to take a night train from Gothenburg to Hamburg and then change trains in Hamburg to get to Frankfurt on the next morning.Now my Question: Can I count this whole journey as one inbound travelday or do I have to buy a ticket from Hamburg to Frankfurt/plan a stop in Denmark so I can make it in one day? 

I think this is several questions in one but I’m totally new and very confused!I have passes for my family. They are on the Railplanner app and also the Interrail website. I am travelling from the UK and have outbound and inbound reservations on the Eurostar via the website which I know I have to print out. But the app is asking me to link a trip, and that won’t have reservations on it. How on earth does all this work? I can see similar questions - I feel like I have two separate profiles and no idea how to connect them!I also need to book my domestic train to and from St Pancras and the train company (LNER) demands a reservation, but the website isn’t letting me do that. Am I doing something wrong?
