Get ready to travel

Hi everyone! I am trying to take a train at the 18th of July 2022 from Utrecht Centraal to WIEN HBF (Austria). One of the options is to take a train from Utrecht Centraal at 8:34, arriving at FRANKFURT(M) FLUGHAFEN FERNBF (Germany) at 11:49 and taking the train here at 12:01 to Wien Hbf.  Interrail says that this is a popular train, but that a reservation for a seat is not necessary. I have tried to book a seat for 2 people at different timeslots and on different websites (bahn.com, interrail etc.) for a while. First, it looks like I am able to reserve a seat, but when trying to purchase the reservation it always tells me that I have to find an alternative connection.Now my question is, can I still take the above train without a reservation, and for example, stand in the train. Since it no longer seems possible to reserve a seat.  

I can’t make an online seat reservation for my trip from figueres vilafant to barcelona sants. Do I have to buy the seat reservation in the station?

I live in Geneva at the boarder with France and the system ask me for an outbound. Why ? 

Is the over night traveling with the euronight train counting as two travel days within the smallest interrail package with 4 travel days within 30 days? Kind regards!

Hi We are first time Interrailers having a nightmare. Trying to book Eurostar back from Brussels in August. Tickets and reservations are showing as available but it won't let us but once put in our basket. Says 'one leg of journey is unavailable'.Can anyone please advise. Frustratingly no phone number to call. M any thanks in advance, deb    

Hi!I want to take a direct train from Copenhagen-Hamburg with DB, but these journeys do not show up when I’m searching in the Rail Planner app. Does this mean that the interrail pass will not be vaild for these trains (even if I book a seat reservation for the train)?Best regards, Alice

Does anyone know how much the luggage storage in the station of “Bergen” (Norway) costs for hours or days?

Hi everyone,I bought the 2-month continuous pass thinking that I could use it to leave my country of residence, Germany, multiple times for the duration, but from the looks of it, I can only use two trips - one outbound and one inbound. This is incredibly disappointing (and for sure will not purchase the pass again) and this now raises a question: can I use the outbound trip in the middle of my 2-month period? Here’s why.I plan on going to different countries throughout this period. I’m currently planning on going to Belgium from Cologne in a couple of weeks, but I’m also planning a trip to Scandinavia from Munich. I would like to save my outbound trip for the one to Denmark from Munich since it’s much more expensive, but I would also like to activate my pass when I’m in Belgium so I can use it to travel in between cities there. Is this actually allowed?Thanks!

Hi all, I know I’m very last minute with my planning but we plan on travelling from Milan to Nice tomorrow however when I got to pay for the reservation this keeps coming up. Any help would be appreciated.  

Hi All,A few weeks ago we made some reservations for our Interrail journey. Those reservations were payed and we got an email that they were booked, but not confirmed yet. Besides that, they also don't appear in our reservation list and we did not receive E-tickets. We already initiated a ticket to customer services without any response. Do you know how we can resolve this issue? Our journey will start on 20AUG22.Thanks!

Hello, this is my first post in this community, so please tell me if I have to do something, or add something. I purchased a train ticket at interrail from Paris Montparnasse(France) to Tours(France), and received payment confirmation and my e-ticket via email. I have a Eurail pass, so I tried to add this ticket to my pass in the Rail Planner app, but it seems that the app doesn’t have the information about it. How can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have a Pass for travels during 2 months.When I go to Rail Planner, on “My Trip”, if I want to connect my Pass cover number for a new trip, it is refused. It’s written “Your Pass cover number doesn’t look right”. Why ? And what to do ?Thank you for your answers

Dear, is the Eurail Scandinavia Adult Pass valid for travel between Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland), or just for one country?That is, if I buy the Eurail Scandinavia Adult Pass, can I travel from Denmark to Norway, from Norway to Sweden and from Sweden to Denmark again?

On Sunday 10.07.2022 there is a strike of local trains in Italy (Regionale, Regionale Veloce and Regio Express)Trenord in Lombardy region (Milan) (trains to Arona Air Show will run regularly)  Trenitalia TPER in Emilia Romagna (Bologna) and this trains will run with an replacement bus instead.  Trenitalia Tuscany (Firenze)Long distance trains like Frecciarossa or IC will run regularly.Check Trenitalia App if trains will run or the website viaggiatreno.it on Sunday before traveling. Last time a few weeks ago in this 3 regions, almost all trains got cancelled due to strikes. 

Hello,my friend and I have booked a trip with the Caledonian Sleeper from Edinburgh to London. The train departures at 23:40 from Edinburgh and arrives next day at 07:07 in London. On the app the trip is splitted by Edinburgh (23:40) → Carstairs (00:20) and Carstairs (00:20) → London (07:07). If we would activate both trip, we would spend two travel days. But we only want to spend the day of our arrival in London (like Caledonian Sleeper conditions says). How should this be handled?

My friend and I have booked a seat reseveration twice now and the money has came out but we have received an email saying there is a problem. There is no tickets on the email and our train is tomorrow morning are we able to book a seat reservation at the train station or is there anything anyone can help us with please.  

We need an extra outbound day to go from Gothenburg to Narvik. We are leaving Gothenburg at 17.24 at the 23 of July and will arrive in Narvik at 17.42 at 24 of July. We have to change train in Stockholm and Boden. How do we do?

I am trying to book train seats from Strasbourg to Champagne-Ardenne.  On the Interrail website, it wants to charge me 44 Euro (2 passengers).  On the travel.b-europe website it wants 24 Euro.  Excellent.  Unfortunately, travel.b-europe won’t let me proceed unless I enter our Interrail pass numbers and it will only accept paper passes whereas ours are digital, so it tells me the pass numbers are invalid.I also tried booking on the SNCF website but there seems to be no option to only book seat reservations.Any ideas?  Thanks.

I’m from the UK and have bought an interrail pass for this summer. My month long trip is being broken up by a wedding that I have to return for mid trip - no choice there. I wanted to travel out by Eurostar at the end of July but all reservations are sold out (unsurprisingly). So, my question is, could I fly out to start my trip in Amsterdam, visit a number of countries, return home and then use the ‘outward journey’ mid August and travel by Eurostar then? (There is availability for the date I want to travel) I hope this makes sense!Thanks.

I have bought the mobile pass but sadly i could not reserve a seat from london to paris perhaps the seats are sold out. i checked from 16-18 july all sold out My itinerary is:London-paris 16 july morning, paris- geneva 16 july evening,geneva-bern-interlaken ost-lauterbrunnen 17&18 july, zermatt- amsterdam 19 -20july,brussels 21 july,brussels- london 21 july. If i could not reserve a seat to paris on 16 july, everything else collapse. please kindly help me of alternatives to carry out planned my trip.
