Hi, when trying to book the reservation seat my husband’s pass cover number says that is invalid, how can we solve this problem?

I’m supposed to travel tomorrow morning. My phone, which had an active global pass was stolen. I have a new device but the app won’t let me activate it.The only customer service I have found is an email that says to expect long wait times. I have sent an email but I’m very worried support won’t get back to me in time. The last time I emailed them it took 11 days for a reply.Please help!

I changed my phone and now I need to activate my mobile pass on my new phone. Tomorrow morning I have a trip. I submitted my request but it said I need to wait 2 days.Thank you in advance.Uran

Hi,We are looking to use the eurail site for the first time to book a journey from London to Spain. No issues up to a point with making the plan, but we want to visit Oviedo in northern Spain and then travel from there to Biarritz. The planner doesn’t identify Oviedo as a destination at all.  When I select the nearest city that is an option (Santander) it appears to be impossible to travel from there to Biarritz. I have checked an online rail map for Spain and there is a line from Oviedo that heads in the direction of Biarritz.Is there an way of using the planner to refine the search to include more out of the way destinations and less traveled routes or is the planner only suitable for journeys to major cities?Thanks in advance for any advice at all.  

Hello. This week I'm starting to use my one country pass in Italy and I would like to know how I should proceed on the train. I have a digital pass (on the app) and I already printed my seat reservations. Is there anything I should be aware of before starting to travel?  

My husband and I are visiting Spain in a few weeks and want to travel by train between a few cities within the country. Will we need Covid tests to enter a new city each time we board a train? I know we need a test to enter the country, but once we are in Spain we will be staying in the country just moving between cities.

I made a train reservation for my wife & I from Lourdes to Barcelona.  Two reservations (each) were required for this journey: Toulouse to Narbonne and Narbonne to Barcelona.  I bought these reservations thru Eurail.  When I bought them, I was informed that that the reservation from Narbonne to Barcelona would be MAILED (the other reservation was emailed).  Kind of backwards, I thought, but OK its 6 weeks 'till I fly to Europe (on July 6th), it shouldn't be a problem.  One week later, I get an email saying my ticket has shipped and should arrive ON OR BEFORE JULY 16th, 2022. So it takes 5 weeks for the mail to get from Europe to the U.S.? Hard to believe.  On top of that, I had already paid for the reservation 1 week earlier without knowing this.  So now I've left for Europe without these paper reservations.  Does Eurail or SNCF use computers to keep record of reservations they've sold?  If so, how can I get a copy while in Europe before our train departure?  If the answer is No, w

Hello, My friends and I are traveling around Europe for the summer with eurail pass (10days in 2 months). But after we bought the passes, we realized the seats for pass holders traveling from London to Amsterdam are perhaps sold out (shown as price unavailable). We therefore decided to travel to Amsterdam by flight and exchange the ticket to 7 days in 1 month. I’d like to ask1. do we have to wait for the completion of exchange process before marking reservations? 2. some previously shown as “no reservation required” are now “details unavailable”, do we need not to make reservation and hop onto the train as we arrive at the stations? Any help would we appreciated. 

Good afternoon everyone,I been considering getting a rail pass and visit a few countries for some time now and I was ready to do it and start my trip next week. The thing is that I wasn’t aware that some reservations (according to this website) have to be made like two or three months in advance. Is that so? I was planning to start off in Paris, then go to Colmar, from there to Munich, and then to Berlin and maybe a couple more cities. Is it a crazy idea to get the pass now and start travelling next week or should I leave that for next year and plan it more carefully? I have the discover eu pass and i was wondering if i have to pay for the seat reservations seperately? 

I am trying to make seat reservations for my eurail trip, as several of the routes i have plan require seat reservation. The first journey is from Krakow to Budapest. I first tried booking this through the app. Under “seat reservation required” there is a little menu where it says “first class” or “second class”, but nothing happens when i click them. Then i tried going to the eurail webside to book there, but the spesific journey i had picked in the app wasn’t on the website. Instead there were other times and other routes. Also, when refreshing the page, i got different results and availabilities every time. Usually the price of the seat reservation also changed, and some parts of the journey suddenly was unavailable for reservation. I tried going to the train companys website to book there (intercity.pl), but got different times and prices there, and was also not able to choose discounted tickets for eurail ticket holders. I just read that Italy has extended it's covid mask rules: still need to wear a mask until late September. On the forum I also read that this means that sleeper/couchette is for solo use only and that it's cheaper to book last minute in trenitalia than through Interail.  (On OBB no availability for the dates I'm looking at) Question:Current price siracuse-rome 43€ for couchette on Interail (July)..-> are couchettes shared again then? Meaning masks on while asleep? If not, seems like a great deal, 43 for a private couchette. Vs high cost of private sleeper

Hi. I’m from South Africa, planning to visit Netherlands and Belgium next year in April. I want to make sure before I book:Can I buy the Benelex pass to travel from Amsterdam to Bruges, and then make daytrips from Bruges to other cities? And then I want to travel back to Amsterdam. Then I want to travel around the Netherlands as well.If I fill in the trip planner the Benelux pass is not one of the options I can buy, so I just want to make sure if it will work..Thanks. 

I’m looking for trains that I found a few weeks ago on the rail planner but that aren’t there anymore. When seraching for a train from Goteborg to Rygge at 14:00 on July 26th I get this : However the Norwegian VY website does show a train in the afternoon: It seems strange that it doesn’t show up on the planner. I think this is because there is some disruption between Goteborg and Oslo (there is a replacement bus service).I’m basically looking for a way to travel from Copenhagen to Oslo on July 26th and the results are not the way they were like a month ago. Could that be a technical issue?Thank you!

Hey!Today I bought a paper pass at my ticket office and I now want to make some train reservations. But I‘m unable to continue as I don‘t have a mobile pass number. The only thing I was able to do is to create a „My Trip“ on the app. Is there a possibility to add my paper pass on the app?Thanks and kind regardsSebastian

Why is it not possible to book a train from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka? In the app there are no connections in July. 

Here’s the thing: InterRail official web and app says that it is possible to book seat reservations in Croatia/Hungary. We also got reply from Interrail that yes, those bookings are possible. But it’s not true at all! It is impossible! And you will find many other people having the same issue - there’s always the same message“Prices unavailable No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board” - and it doesn’t matter what dates you choose!The only option is to book on place… but imagine that it’s high season and you have on other way than book a seat in the same day… Great, isn’t? This is all a one huge lie and make whole trip a nightmare. You risk all that you won’t be able to travel because of that. We will neve
