We are trying to book a train from Ljubljana to Como. We have booked a train from Ljubljana to Villach HBF on the 16th of July, separate to the interail pass, as we didn't want to waste a travel day. We are going to spend the evening out in Austria and get a night jet in the early morning. On the the 17th, we have booked a night jet from villach HBF to Brescia (1:34 - 6:32), using the interail card discount, and then we are going to reserve a train from Brescia to Como (via Milan). Here is our planned route on the OBB website. The only thing is that we cannot find the train from villach to Brescia (or villach to como) on the interail app to add to our pass, so we have the QR code to accompany our seat reservations on the trains (which we need right?).Why can’t we find it on the app? Do I need to refund our reservation from villach to Brescia?
I will arrive from Bari to Patras and want to catch trains from Patras in this orderPatras to Diakopto on day OneDiakopto to Kalavryta return on day twoOn day three Diakopto to Athens Halkali, arrival 9:20 urban transport to Sog and on same day Athens to Thessaloniki. The trains are all showing on Trainose and on European printed timetable. I don't anticipate any problems until day three when I want to travel to Thessaloniki on IC 52 leaving at 10:58 if possible. So, at last here is my question…..Can the Patras ticket office make this reservation, and is it reasonably likely that the train will still have room on May 13th? If not, are any of the later trains likely to have room? Crystal ball event, I know.Thank you
Hi everyone, I haven’t bought my Eurail pass yet, but my family (6 adults and a 1 year old) are travelling for 14 days in Europe from 8/27 - 9/10. We will be going from Zurich to Interlaken, Interlaken to Geneva, Geneva to Brussels, then finally Brussels to Amsterdam. We assume the Eurail pass will save us money, but need to confirm that we can get from Geneva to Brussels. When I do the “Plan My Trip” feature through Eurail.com, it shows all trains into and out of Paris are sold out, regardless of the dates I use. Even if I try for mid summer. I’ve seen people mention b-europe.com and just want to make sure that is a legitimate website, because if so, our dates are available for Geneva-Paris and Paris-Brussels on 9/1 (our planned day to travel. Any insight into your experience is greatly appreciated 😀
Is there a problem with the trip planer? It looks like all reservations from Brussels to London are booked. But b-europe website seems to have plenty reservations for Interrail pass holders…

Hi all, actually I’m preparing for my travel around Spain that will be real in the next two weeks, I’m trying to book my reservation seats for a travel between Valencia and Alicante but at the moment I want to pay suddenly it says that there are erros with my data.I checked and my data are correct, I really don’t know and I also text to the assistance but I’m discovering that railpass is not amazing app for this. Do you know some other sites or app I can use just to book reservation?I tried to go directly on Renfe website but actually it just sell full ticket, I can’t book the seat reservation. It’s my first time interrail and it’s my first travel alone longer than a weekend, so please I’m bit scared that everything could go wrong, it would be nice to have all seats reserved before taking my flight to Spain. Thanks for any advices you’d like to give me! :)
Bonjour! I’m traveling through France and I’m wondering if there’s an efficient way to figure out if a train station has escalators or elevators? I’ve tried to look at Gare SNCF websites (but it’s not always clear), or trying to use Google or Apple maps to see if there are elevator icons. I downloaded Ma Gare but it’s not super clear to me since they lump “disability services” together with everything. I have two suitcases (one very large) and a backpack so stairs were doable. Trying to plan more efficiently and get more accurate information. (also trying to plan for the future when I bring stroller) I discovered at Toulouse Matabiau there was only one hall with escalators to the platforms (luckily I was early so I walked over to the other hall. I only knew this because I happened to leave from there the week prior). Is there a way to see which platform/halls to take to make transit easier? Or is it just a no-go if you have luggage and just need to deal? I arrived in Narbonne two days a
I am an exchange student in Germany (non-european), but I already have residence permit for 6 months in Germany (my semester period) I want to travel to Switzerland and Italy in one trip, so which pass is available for me? Eurail Pass or Interail? Thank you in advance
We have 4 travelers in our group. I created a travel plan and trip in my app. I shared the link to all parties involved. 2 were able to add the trip to their app after clicking on the link and activating their passes. The third individual clicked the link and it added to the app but says “it is not attached to a Pass”. We are unable to add this trip. When we logged into the account, it connected and downloaded the reservations that were created but won’t connect the trip we created with all the train travel for 5 days. I would really like to avoid manually entering all the trips into their phone. Any suggestions?
Hi all. So I am booking Bernina Express to Tirano, then I wish to travel onwards to one of Varenna, Lecco or as far as Milan. Trouble is that the Planner app does not show any reasonable routes. I can get as far as Colico (regional train RE87851), but then it indicates buses which leave next day at 4 in the morning! Surely there is a railway line right along the Lake Como coast thru Varenna to Lecco to Milan that I could use? UPDATE: MY travel date is Friday 23rd May 2025, from lunch time onwards. Checking other peoples similar questions, some line upgrades for Olympics are notified for June, but not for May
I’m traveling from Sitges to Paris via Barcelona in June and am entering the trips in my rail planner app. I have Barcelona to Paris taken care of with a seat reservation and have the trip uploaded in my app. However, I cannot find the Sitges train station on the app to add the journey from Sitges to Barcelona. I’m assuming this journey is covered by the Eurail pass and I can just add it manually? I realize I could just buy a cheap ticket from the station, but since I’m already using my pass the same day to get from Barcelona to Paris, I thought I might as well use the pass for the journey from Sitges to Barcelona that same day as well. Thanks in advance for the help!
I adding a journey from Montreux to Zweisimmen arriving at 17:57. I then tried adding a journey from Zweisimmen to Lauterbrunnen departin at 18:02. It says” It looks like you will be on another train at this time. Please adjust your prior journey” Obviously, I will not be on another train but assumed it thought the connection was too tight so I tried adding the train which departs one hour later. It said the same thing. What am I doin wrong? Do I just wait until I arrive and then remove the first one and try adding the second journey ?
The interrail app show by the train Mandello Del Lario - Olcio: not in passnetwork. But in my opinon is that not correct. In my information: is just a trenord train, right? And also in other trennord trains is interrail vallid. Why interrail would be not vallid in the train Lecce - Olcio???
Hello,My husband, 20 year old daughter and myself are traveling next month from Amsterdam to Würzburg and multiple other locations in Germany then back to Amsterdam to fly back home. I made an error in my train seat reservations (which cannot be changed), but fortunately caught now.As I am looking to again reserve those seats which are optional, I noticed the rail planner has Frankfurt as the connecting city. However, on other ticket sites, Düsseldorf is listed as the connecting city.If I reserve on the rail planner, will I truly have reserved seats on the train to Düsseldorf? And though likely covered elsewhere, do we really need to reserve seats on this route? My sincere thanks for any assistance in this matter.Michele
,Hi,We are interrailing as a group of 4 during the summer (June-July) and we would like to take a sleeper train on 8.7. between 22:16-06:16 from Prague to Krakow. We would like to book beds to sleep in, but the reservation does not seem to be possible at the moment in the CD page. Does anyone have any information on when the tickets would be available and we can book the train? Are these included in the interrail global pass or do they cost extra?Best regards,MariaMarkaWe are interrailing as a group of 4 during the ser and we would like to take a sleeper train on 8.7. between 22: from Prague to Krakow. Hi!I have bought a pass from here and booked a trip via the rail planner going in late june. When I checked yesterday, I saw that we have a change time of about 4 minutes between some trains in some places.Since we have reserved seats on some trains, it will be a bit too expensive to rebook and just throw that money away. Do you have any tips on what I should do or help me book/replan without having to leave the seats we have already reserved?
I am not born in EU countries but I have my resident permit here in Austria, currently I am the int. student here which pass should I choose Interrail pass or Eurail pass? Another question is for one country pass, I do only France but the train route cross Germany - is it okay?
Hi ,We are travelling to Endinburgh from London on the London North Eastern Railway . I have booked seat resevations. Do I just show them our eurail pass when we get on the train? Or how does it work? We havent used Eurail pass before. It is also the first time Ive made seat reservations externally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was hoping to travel from Salzburg to Venice on 18th August this year via the Brenner pass. This involves taking the RKX662 and RJ85, changing in Innsbruck. Thing is, this train isn’t appearing on the timetable (via DB trains or OSS) but it’s there on the 19th August. How can I confirm that it’s just not a daily service and I’m unlucky or if it will become available later? I don’t see how it will become available later if it’s displaying for the day afterwards…
Hi,I will be traveling with my girlfriend, and we both have Eurail Global passes. I purchased our tickets for each destination using my Eurail account, and the tickets are currently under my Booking section in the Eurail app. If we look in her Eurail app under the Booking section, we do not see the same tickets. If I lose my phone on the trip, how can we pull up the tickets in her Eurail app? I am assuming that when boarding a train, I will show our tickets and my Eurail pass, and my girlfriend will need to show only her Eurail pass? Best regards,Michael Bechtold
Hi friends! I’m taking the 12:22 pm train from Ax-Les-thermes to Narbonne today and noticed when I checked train line and SNCF app that the stop for Narbonne is terminated. When this happens, is my only other alternative to take the next connection and hang around Toulouse longer (or leave ax on the second train out?) I’ve got large suitcases and prefer not to arrive too late. What app do you recommend for checking live train times since the eurail planner isn’t up to date ? thanks friends! It’s been three years since I used eurail again and I’m trying to remember how to navigate! I bought the first class eurail pass for France only if that’s important.
Hi everyone! 👋 My partner and I are planning our very first Interrail trip this summer (from late July to mid-August), and we’d love to get some advice from the community. Here’s our itinerary:Munich → Vienna → Hallstatt → Ljubljana → Venice → Lake Como → Milan We’ve already booked all our accommodations, but we’re still unsure about seat reservations.Would you recommend booking them in advance for any of these routes? Are there any journeys where reservations are strongly advised or even mandatory? We’re aware that some come with an additional fee. Also, if we travel without a reservation, is it possible we could be denied boarding? And finally, if you have any tips for first-time Interrailers, we’d love to hear them!Packing hacks, train tricks, scenic routes, or just things you wish you’d known before your first trip. Thanks so much in advance 🙏 and happy travels to all of you!
I made a mistake by booking my seat alone because I didn't knew we could reserve it together(with your group). So, I wanted to know if we could take it back or change seats because they're saying we can't.Hope you can help me and have a nice Day.
