I use to travel with paperpass and prefere that. But due to the discount right now, and I don't yet now my travel date, I consider trying the mobile pass. But are there still problems when using the app, or are most of the problems people experienced solved? I am not super keen to rely on technology, if it is not working properly or difficult to use.
I am currently staying in Brenta in Milan, Italy, and want to go to barberini, Rome, Italy what would I pick to book my ticket?
Hello, my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) is planning to utilise the Nightjet service from Amsterdam to Basel in July 2025. We are understanding that these cannot be booked at moment, but had two queries we are asking the community for assistance 😀We are planning to purchase a Eurail Global 4 day Pass & reserve a 4-bed couchette; will the Eurail pass offer a discount on the total fare? Will we only need to pay the reservation fee? Also, because the travel is overnight, would this count as 1-day or 2-days against our pass? We are planning onward train travel in Switzerland immediately following our morning arrival into Basel.Thank you!
I would like to travel from Barcelona to Alicante or Elche on December 24 using a Eurail Pass. I have the following questions: For trains like the Eurostar, I was able to check seat availability on the Eurail website even without purchasing the pass. However, for the route in Spain mentioned above, it seems like I can only make a reservation after obtaining the pass. If I purchase the pass but there are no available seats, the pass would be useless. Therefore, I would like to check seat availability in advance. What is the best way to do this?
I’m planning to do the following train trips in Spain and would like to clarify the seat reservation process:1. Seville to Granada (day trip)2. Seville to Malaga (day trip)3. Seville to Madrid • Do I need to reserve seats for all these routes?• Can I make the seat reservations through an app, or do I have to go to the train station to reserve them?• Are these specific routes mandatory for seat reservations when using the Eurail Pass? Thank you!

Hi there! I have upcoming trips, that need reservation from the Rail Planner app :Edinburgh - London, 19 DecLondon - Amsterdam, 22 DecMunchen - Rome, 1 JanA bit confused reading previous discussion in community, that in England we do not need reservation? Could pls someone enlighten me. Thank you
Hello! I’m trying to figure out the travel day scenario and how it works. When I do the planner it says I should need 4 days, but then takes me to purchase 5 days. Right now we are looking at doing the following 4 trips. Rome → Bologna (Thursday mid day)Bologna → Rome (Friday morning)Rome → Florence (Monday morning) Florence → Venice (Wednesday morning) Based on this I assume I just need a 4 travel day in one month. But it isn’t helping me enough to explain it properly. Additionally, is it better to go pass vs individual. Our travel friends did first class pass. But we have an extra day of travel over them. thank you!!
HelloI can see ECD 9551 on the NSI website for the above date: https://www.nsinternational.com/en/traintickets-v3/#/search/BEBMI/NLLLC/20250412/1357/1638?pax=A,Abut I can’t see how to confirm that it is running (trains to Amsterdam Centraal aren’t) nor how I can use my Eurail Global Pass.Could some kind soul please post detailed instructions on how to do so or is it just a question of turning up as there are no seat reservations? Thanks Graeme
I'd like to ask because I want to book an Eurail Pass seat but it doesn't work. If you try to book a seat without logging in, it will pop up as shown in the picture belowbut, Log in to the account where you registered your pass and click on the seat reservation and it disappears like the picture. So I can't make a reservation. Does anyone know the solution?
Hi Community! We are going to Amsterdam for 4 days in February, and Rome for 4 days also. We luckily have 4 days in-between! Feb. 23 to Feb. 27. Our current itinerary had us going back to New York, but we would rather make the trek between by train. Here is our thought process, but please advise if anyone has some better options! We are going to get a Global Pass for 5 days. Feb. 23 - early train to Brussels. Spend the day in Brussels (Feb. 23)Feb. 23 - Night train to BerlinFeb. 24 - Day in Berlin (Overnight in Berlin)Feb. 25 - Day in Berlin - Night train to MunichFeb 26 - Day in Munich - Here is where we need some helpFeb 26 .. ideally we would do a night train Munich to Pisa.. but I don’t think there is a route? We would prefer to make a stop in Pisa without losing an entire day - is that possible, or should we try to find a night train directly to Rome? Our check in is Feb. 27 Is there a Better way to see as many countries as we can in between Amsterdam and Rome in these fou
Hi, I'm planning my Interrail trip and I have a train from Zermatt to Paris with 3 connections:Zermatt to Visp Visp to Lausanne Lausanne to ParisThe only part of the trip that allows me to make a seat reservation is the third part (Lausanne to Paris), and I'm a bit worried that I might not be able to take the train due to full capacity on the previous two connections, which don't allow seat bookings.
I have Eurail Global Pass and have booked reservations for Paris CDG to Amsterdam direct on Eurostar. Where do we get on the train at Paris CDG ? Can anyone help that has made this trip ?
We plan to travel from Salzburg to Bologna on a Railjet with transfer in Innsbruck using a first class eurail pass. The seat reservation fee on the obb website is 3 euro. But when I put the seat reservation into my shopping basket the 15 euro supplement that is supposed to be paid is not added to the seat reservation fee. I have selected the eurail pass discount for my obb profile. The eurailpass website says that seat reservations made on obb site will automatically include the supplement. So I am puzzled as to what we should do.Thank you!
(I have the Eurail Global Pass) I’m trying to book the PE 2937 LUZERN-INTERLAKEN EXPRESS at 06:06 on December 22, but the seat reservations details are unavailable. If I add this to my trips without booking seat reservations, will I still be able to board the train. Or do I need to book the seat reservations on the Luzern website, or buy the whole ticket?
April/May we will travel through Europe. One of the routes we are planning to do is Vilnius to Krakow. I’m figuring out how to book a seat reservation for this train. (for April 25 – connection: Depart 12.10 Vilnius (IC 143), 1 transfer in Mockova Arrival 23.39 in Krakow) We do have a 2 month pass so remarks about taking a bus instead are not very relevant.(although for Talinn-Riga and Riga-Vilnius we will take the bus) There is a daily connection leaving 12.10 and arriving 23.37 with 1 change in Mockava (LT). See seat61 whichs is trusthworthy and valuable info. https://www.seat61.com/trains-and-routes/warsaw-to-vilnius-by-train.htm He also indicates tickets can be booked 30 days in advance. I checked the ltglink website and this is correct. (I found out when booking online a ticket for this train you cannot choose Interrail as a discount so I think a seat reservation through the Lithuanian website isn’t possible) To check how to book I used several dates in the oncoming 4 weeks so I k
Hi,I was hoping to take a direct train from utrecht centraal to koln hbf on Dec 7th (ICE255) and back on Dec 8th (ICE 152). As the seat reservation is optional for this route, I did not get the reservation in advance. But, now it says the train is fully booked. Can I still travel on the same train with my Eurail pass (knowing that I might not get a seat to sit)? Or is it advisable to take a different connection? The train on 8th says only first class seats available. Does this mean I cannot use my Eurail pass (2nd class) for the journey?(Apologies if this has already been answered before but I couldn’t find an answer for my scenario yet.)Thanks in advance!

How much did you save up before going interrailing and how much did you end up spending?
Hi everyone! I’m planning to start interrailing in the second week of February, but I am a bit unsure about the global pass time frame of "7 days in a month."My question is whether that means 7 out of 30 days starting from the day of activation (i’m a bit unsure as Feb only has 28 days) I would really appreciate it if anyone could clarify the system for me!Thank you! :)))
Hi, I’m new to this site and I’m trying to plan an inter-rai trip from the UK to southern Portugal and return. I’ve started by looking at the section from Paris to Montpellier, but I’m having problems with the reservations. Several trains on this route show as “Pass not valid”, but the train I want to look at (14.42 from Paris Lyon) shows as “seat reservations required” which is good. However, no matter what date I look at, the site always shows as “Sold out”.It’s hard to plan this trip with numerous trains being non reservable, but it’s even harder when some of those that are reservable, are always shown as sold out. My question is, is it usual that most of the TGVs on the route from Paris to Montpellier are not available to Inter-rail passholders? Also, is this true of many other high speed train routes in France and Spain, or have I just been unlucky when starting to plan our trip?
I’m once again adventures enough to go on a Vienna - Nürnberg - Stuttgart - Paris trip and after causing quite some confusion last time around I would like to ask in advance:What exactly am I supposed to do if my train connection between Vienna to Stuttgart is getting delayed and I miss the TGV to Paris I have a reserved seat? The DB Servicecenter in Nürnberg bluntly refused to help me at all, while the DB Servicecenter in Stuttgart rebooked my TGV reservation to the next TGV to Paris without any issues at all. Which left me both happy and quite confused.
Hello,I am traveling soon. I tried to add my Eurail Italy Pass on the app, then I found that my last name was misspelled from Jatu to Jutu . I have contacted customer service. But not sure would they adjust before I travel. How long would they reply?and is it ok if I active my pass with the incorrect spelling?
