Get ready to travel

I've booked Eurostar tickets from London to Cologne at the end of March. I now find there is an international dentists convention in Cologne when we arrive. It has been suggested that I switch to Düsseldorf, as accommodation is either very limited or astronomical in Cologne. I tried to change Eurostar tickets but they will not change destination. I can see that our train goes to Dusseldorf in any event. Should I just book tickets to Dusseldorf from Cologne on DB, and stay on the train? Any advice please? 

Hello everybody!Planning on travelling to Europe again during Summer '25... wondering if there have been any major changes to Eurail passes in the last 2 years since I travelled last?Do we still need to be present inside Spain to be able to book Renfe trains, or have they opened online bookings?Are 2 kids under 12 still free with 2 parents? Maybe someone can point me towards relevant articles I should be reading to get myself updated? Hi! I am planning my first trip via train in Europe. I would like to confirm few items, Here is our itinerary for full month of FebruaryDay 1 : Oslo - Bergen, extra 12nok for seat reservation Day 2: Paris-Geneva, this trip for my dates, which is 2 months from now, is showing 338 euros. If I have EUrail pass, do I just have to pay just 39 euros for a seat reservation? Is this 39 euros fixed, or it can increase when its closer to booking time? Just looking at the price of the ticket on the SNCF website, i.e., 338 euros, an EU rail pass makes so much sense if I have to pay just 39 euros. I hope I am not missing anything. Day 3: Geneva-Zurich, extra for seat reservation; I am not sure how much it was not clear on the eurail website. Day 4: Zurich - Chur - Tirano - Milan - Venice, for Bernina express do i have to book tickets from the actual website, i.e., 32chf? For a high-speed train in Italy, how much do I have to pay for seat reservations? Where do I find this information? Day 5: Venice

 I am able to see and book a train reservation on the night train from Split to Budapest (1205 ADRIA INTERCITY) on the MAV (Hungarian) website. It does not appear on the app though.  New Eurail pass user.  So confused!I have searched topics but can’t find the answer.

I travel with my wife and daughter from brussels 21 December to amsterdam. I have the "eurail pass" and I do not see any available time for that day on the eurostar, only on the train that takes more than 4 hours. Seeing through the omnio app many options appear that are still available. The truth of having the "eurail pass" was a terrible choice.

On the interrail website i cant make an reservation, OBB also not possible. When i go to the OBB website, and i check for an full ticket it is possible. But for the same date as only seat reservation he say it is not possible. How can i get can seat reservation for this train??? Greetings,Martin 

it's before activate my eurail global pass, yeti'm practicing  train reservation, but why do I see "your pass isn't valid on this date..." on the screen?and  when I try to make a seat reservation with a chrome browser, the screen stops or " bad request....." screen appears.but chrome browser also work well in hotel reservations, obb app, and trenit appof course I can make a reservation with a different browser in koreawhat browser do you use to make seat reservations on your eurail pass?

Hi, I am an international student (non-European passport) currently residing in Belgium. I have been living here for the past two years and hold a valid residence permit card from Belgium. I am planning to visit italy/swiss for 5 days.I am writing to seek clarification regarding my eligibility to purchase an Interrail Pass. As a non-European passport holder, I am uncertain whether I should opt for an Interrail Pass or a Eurail Pass for my upcoming travel plans. Any other practical advice would also be appreciated.

Can I take a train from Milan Central Station to Luguno Switzerland for free if I have a  Eurail Italy Pass?

I plan to travel on 24th Dec - 29th Dec.If i buy 2 for adults, are the tickets for kids free? I am currently travelling and the app has decided to stop working - thought I would post here to see if anyone has a quick solution!I have a 3 month pass and been using fine for 2 months. This morning when I opened it there were no trips or tickets. I logged out and back in a couple of times and this seems to have brought the ticket back. I can see the pass in My Pass, but there are no trips added and I cannot show QR code. There is a message saying “Your tickets are loading….” but this has been spinning for 2 hours now…Any suggestions how to fix? I dont want to make it worse by logging out or re-installing app.

From what I understand, Germans and Austrians make a distinction between the ticket, the reservation of seat (Sitzplatzreservierung) and the supplement (Zuschlag or Aufpreis). It would mean that it is possible to buy a Sitzplatzreservierung with the DB website, and then to pay for the Zuschlag even on the train, against some more money for the onboard sale. It would be especially interesting for me, who go from Vienna to Paris regularly, so that I could buy my seat reservation for the whole journey with the DB website, which is interesting in case of missed connections (which tend to hap

I have 1st class eurial pass I can't find any seat reservation from Edinburgh to London for the day 26 of Dec And I can't find any seat reservation for the day 30 of Dec from London to ParisAnd from bergen to oslo for the day 19 of Dec they say it's for free but I need to book. Last question I booked a night cabin for the train from Rovaniemi to Helsinki departure 9PM arrival 9 Am is this a one day use or 2 days ?  

I asked about this earlier but now I'm quite confused with the connections shown here, it seems like I need to go back to Chur and use a different route to reach Milan. When I check the Trenitalia website, I see direct trains or trans with a change to Milan, Can I enter the train journey manually on the planner? Topic - Will existing seat reservations work for cancelled passes replaced with new one?Query - I purchased a 22 days pass and booked seat reservations for certain routes in UK, Norway and France.There is change in my duration of stay in Europe and need to buy a 2 month pass instead.Note - 22 days pass is not yet activated. Have two questions -Can I cancel my 22 days pass and purchase 2 months pass and get full refund? The seat reservations I made earlier were linked to my 22 days pass. If I cancel this 22 days pass and purchase 2 months pass, what would happen to my existing seat reservations? Will those still be considered or will I have to book the seat reservations again?

Hello. Planning ahead for a Eurostar reservation from Amsterdam to London St Pancras. I understand that this goes via Brussels but the Eurail booking site routes you from Amsterdam with at least 3 changes to get to Brussels (no reservations needed). However, every other site says there is an EC intercity from Amsterdam to Brussels which is part of the Eurocity connection. Why does the Eurail site not show this in any of the options? Rail Europe has a note saying that 8.10am Sunday train from Amsterdam to Brussels “Rail Pass doesn't apply for this trip”  Any ideas?ThanksJon
