Hello, I'm new here and planning a family trip from the UK to Hungary and back. How flexible is the booking system? Should I book all the trains in advance, including seat reservations, or is it better to book at the last minute in case we miss a connection? If I book in advance, can I easily amend or cancel a booking if our plans change?Thank you for any advice.
I have bought an interrail UK 4 daysI thought I could use it from Paris inbound/outbound but I get a message saying that my pass is not valid on the Paris to London eurostar startCan I use from/to Paris or should I exchange it with an global pass 4 days ?
I am to late with reserving seats for the trains i need to get. Now its saying i cant get on the train if i dont have a reservation, but its full already. I have bought the pass, booked appartements and planned everything around these locations. What can i do to fix this?
When I try to log in to the Wery Auto disco application, it gives me an error that this is not an application for me and I should install an ad, I have already reset the password, the problem is, I have deleted these two applications and still nothing
Hi, We have bought a first class pass for this summer, and are planning on going from Denmark to France and back. We are wondering if it is necessary to reserve spots in the reservations optional trains or if we, because we have the first class pass will be more likely to get a spot even without the reservation since we have the first class pass?
I want to take the night train from Budapest to Split with an Interrail pass on July 8th. I have some doubts about what the first step is: whether I should reserve the seat on the website https://jegy.mav.hu/jegy/vonat and then add the journey to my Interrail pass, or how it works.I see that there is a train (IC 206) from Budapest to Split with a transfer in Zagreb, and the seat reservation on the official website https://jegy.mav.hu/jegy/vonat costs €2. However, I’m not sure what else I need to do on the Interrail website.
Hi - when I was planning my Interrail journey (out Wed, 1 July) there were no reservations needed for DB trains at all.I’ve now seen that it looks like they are needed not just on the return route which I’d come across in May but also arriving via Amsterdam. The ES is meant to arrive 16:22, and I had two options for getting to Hannover - first one via Duisburg, leaving Amsterdam 16:38 so quite tight but doable if the ES is on time, the second direct on the route to Berlin, leaving 18:00.As I now appear to need a reservation (hopefully still available somehow somewhere), I don’t think I can just wait and see as I was hoping to do - one of the good things about Interrail. But if I were to buy the reservation for Duisburg but then miss the connection, would it be valid on the alternative later route not via Duisburg? The DB website does give both those two connections for that ES (which I’d booked ages ago of course), nothing else. So there is no other choice I think, e.g. a later Duisburg
Hi, (first time I use Interrail)I already booked all seats/berth reservations for a trip directly at Deutsche Bahn, SJ, ÖBB. Now the timetable has changed and I had to rearrange my whole trip. No problem, I’m flexible.I divided my trip into several journeys and will activate my pass on the first travel date which is within 2 days. Now I cannot add the already booked night train journey from Stockholm to Hamburg because all places meanwhile are sold out (the confirmation of my reservation is still valid). I see no possibility to manually add a journey. What should I do?
I am planning to travel tomorrow morning from Oslo to karlstad, with first class pass. Can anyone clarify if seat reservations are required? The planner shows optional for IC trains, but other information suggests they may be required for both IC and hst?If they are optional, any experience with whether it will be easy to get a seat on the morning 727am train?!
Hello! We're traveling from Lucerne to Füssen, Germany. There's 2 interchange of only 7 minutes. Lucerne to Zurich is IR 2571 arriving at Platform 10Zurich to Buchloe is leaving from Platform 34. Do we have enough to get from Platform 10 to 34? Thank you so much.
I had booked tickets with reserved seats on the train between Munich and Prague on August 7th. Now, however, the train no longer departs from Munich, but from Regensburg. The question is: are tickets and reserved seats still valid? The train number is the same, only the departure station has changed. I asked the Czech Railways but they told me that I have to ask the Swedish SJ Railways because they made the ticket. This is impossible! I don't know who to ask anymore!
Hello,I am travelling to Istanbul, Bucuresti and Sofia this summer with my girlfriend and have a question about the Bosphorus night train. If I am correct the interrail planner does not give the correct data for the Bosphorus train from Bucuresti Nord (Romania) to Halkali (Turkey) and from Halkali to Sofia (Bulgaria), and you have to buy the seat reservations at the train station itself. We’ll arrive in Bucuresti on August 4th and want to take the train to Halkali the next day. We also want to take the train from Halkali to Sophia on August 10th. I was wondering if we can buy both reservations in Bucuresti on the 4th. And is there a big change that the train will be sold out already? (the 4th is on a Monday).Thank you in advance!!Floris
Hi,I have an Interrail GlobalPass and am currently in Turkey. I want to go to Budapest from Istanbul. I have already booked the Halkali - Bucharest journey, and I want to book the Bucharest-Budapest journey on 1 Sep after 5pm.I would like to book the Bucharest-Budapest night journey but on the Hungarian site, despite the addition of the pass, the fares are much higher than expected, perhaps they contain the seat + the ticket and I can't find a way to separate them. On the Romanian site, it is impossible to put a form of discount/pass in the entry data. Finally, on the OBB site, the ticket is indicated as not available. Do I have to wait until I'm at the station to take these tickets? Moreover the schedules on the OBB and Interrail sites are totally different. On the rail planner, I see an 18:25 direct train. On the other hand, on the OBB, I see a 17:44 train with 1 exchange. Which one is correct? Finally, if the OBB site is correct, I’d like to buy a seat reservation but I think the
How to book the TGV INOUI on the app it’s not there
I have a purchased Eurail pass with provision for first class seating. Do Seat Reservations need to be made through Eurail or can they be purchased thru DB, SNCF, Rail Europe, etc? If so, details please. Also, Eurail shows seating reservations are not open for 5 of my 7 legs of travel; however, Rail Europe shows seating reservations are open for all. Why the difference; is there a remedy on Eurail?
I’d like to know whether, if I buy the ‘One Country’ pass for Slovenia, the Paris–Ljubljana journey can be booked using the pass, or whether I need to book it separately. I’m considering either a pass with 4 journeys per month or one with 6 journeys, depending on whether I can make a return journey from my country of residence.
Hello, I am from ROMANIA, CLUJ NAPOCA municipality. If I bought a subscription with a 15% discount on March 15th, I think it is still valid if I want to leave ROMANIA for Vienna, ROMA PARIS. It says that it must be activated within 11 months, so I hope I don't have any problems in August.
I have been previously able to access the LTG Link site to book seat reservations from Vilnius to Warsaw. However, the LTG Link site seems suddenly to have decided to not allow access from Australia. Does anyone know if this is temporary, seasonal (with the high season approaching), or an IT fix I’d need to find locally (in Australia - eg using a VPN or similar)? I was hoping to book a couple of remain legs of our trip in Lithuania next week when I believe bookings open and don’t want to miss out on seat reservations, especially as some trains only run once per day.
Hi all!!! I am a senior, born November 20, 1961. I am trying to purchase a senior flexible global pass for this summer and the traveller details continue to NOT accept my birthday as inputted… 1961-11-20… can you help me and tell me what I am doing wrong? Thank you!!!
How easy is it to exchange the order for paper passes (site now says “shipped” but offers no tracking) to mobile passes? I am worried the paper passes won’t arrive in time for our departure, USA to Poland. We paid over $653 (full price, no sale) for 3 first class inter-Poland train tickets.
I am planning to visit Madrid for a single day to see Parque Warner. My plan is to arrive from Leon at Chamartin station in the morning. Change to a Cercanías train to Atocha. Here I will drop of my luggage at my nearby hotel and immediately go back to Atocha Station. Then I will take another Cercanías to Pinto Station, where a bus will take me to Parque Warner. When Parque Warner closes around midnight, I need to go back to my hotel. I will take a bus back to Pinto. Here I will take the last train to Atocha at 23:58.My question is how do I pass the gates at the Cercanías stations. The first train at Chamartin is not a problem. I can use the QR-code at my seat reservation from the connecting train. Can I use the same QR code again at Atocha? Or is it single use? Otherwise I hope I can make the staff open the gate for me.But what about Pinto station at 23:58? My QR-code will no longer be valid. Will there be any staff to help me at this time of the day?Is it possible to get a paper-ticket
I know that similar questions have been asked, but I am still confused. If I want to travel on a train that does not require a seat reservation do I just rock up on the day and show my global pass?
I bought my ticket through the mobile app and somehow the ticket receipt shows a seat, but I didn’t pay extra and I thought it would be paid from my own money. Also, when I search the ticket number on the official train website, it doesn’t show up.I also wanted to know if there’s any problem with bringing luggage, since my partner (who doesn’t have the pass) had to pay for luggage, but nothing showed up for me about that.My train ticket is from Warszawa Centralna to Krakow Glowny (train: 1304 EIP)
we would like to be sure that there are free Seats on the trains we should use before we by our interrail pass
