Hello, im at Salerno and the ICN 1962 to La Spezia Centrale should drive at 23:33 but on the display there is not the train and the Shop to ask is closed, does anyone know anything?
Hello everyone, I‘m traveling to France and Spain soon and I‘m wondering when the seat reservations should be purchased. I‘d like to have some flexibility with my stays and book the reservations 1 or 2 days prior departure. However I figured this might not work out, since some trains may already be fully booked by then.Stops will include Paris, Nice, Barcelona, Madrid and Sevilla. It would really be helpful if somebody could share their experience and guidance on when they reservations should be booked. Also, I will be traveling in September so the Paris Olympics shouldn’t be an issue. Greetings,Mateo
On moblie pass have train journey with Eurostar for 31 july. When I try to add to travel day it says: no outbound/inbound journeys left it looks like you’ve used all your outbound/inbound journeys. youll need to buy a separate ticket to make this journey. Have been able to add another journey from paris with no problem. Appreciate any guidance. If I have begun with a mobile pass, can I change to a paper pass? is this easy to do?I have also requested help from Interrail. Many thanks, barbara
We bought a flexi 3 days Eurail pass for Italy in September, and so far planned 2 out of 3 days. For the last day, I am thinking to use the pass to do regional travel within Rome instead of using the metro. Appreciate suggestions on the train stations worth stopping over that have attractions eg Rome Travestere etc. Thanks.
I am trying to book a train from Brussels to Amsterdam for 4 of us on Saturday 27th July but I cannot seem to do it is it alright to just turn up at the station and buy tickets or has anyone got any advice please? Thank you
This is a change of plans for us. This is the first time we are taking the rail. And we are visiting from the United States to Spain, France, and Switzerland. We are traveling tomorrow from Alicante Spain to Montpelier France. What advice can you give me on best times to take the train and best options for traveling by train??
I am planning to go from Interlaken to Milan on Aug 6th in the evening. I understand that there is construction going on so will have to take the bus for part of the journey (from Domodossola). Where do I reserve a seat for the bus? Are there other shorter routes to Milan from Switzerland?
For the past few days, I tried numerous times to make seat reservations using Rail Planner. But when it routes me to the eurail website, I get this error:Bad RequestYour browser sent a request that this server could not understand.Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Has anyone encountered this error? I have a mobile pass for 2 Adults. I’m almost giving up hope, is it possible to just book the seats at the train stations on the day of itself? We will be travelling to Rome in early September.
Hi,I have read to other topic with the same question from two years ago, but was curious of there is something improved in the last years. I want to travel from Milano Centrale to Frankfurt Hbf, see screenshot below for the details. Raileurope don't show any option to book the train from Milan to Zürich. What is the best way to book that specific train?
Hello!!This summer we are planning to travel from Poland to the baltic countries. We have a global pass, however, we have seen that it is not available to check the timetables o book the trains on the interrail website and we’re struggiling a bit to understand which is the best way to travel around these countries. It would be of great help if somebody that has travelled there could answer some questions:Is it always possible to book the trains in the stations with the interrail pass (if there’s seats on the train)? Which would be the best way? We are aware that global pass also includes buses, which apparently are a good way to travel in these countries, how can we know which type of buses it includes? Which is the way of booking these buses? Thank you very much in advance! Sophie
Hello All,My husband and I are planning our 1st trip to Europe and our celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary!!! 🥂💞💐 I am looking for some guidance on the best route to take by train from Venezia Santa Lucia Train Station to Paris Gare de Lyon but I understand it can be another train station and we can take local to get to this one (where our Air B&B is near) the date we will do this is on 4/21/25 or 4/22/25 (which ever date is better for times or cheaper, also can be worked out to do the over night train or slower trains.)We have the global eurail pass, our dates are from 4/13/25-4/27/25, we will have already used it and been in Italy for 8 days and will stay in Paris for 3 days. Then my next question is cheapest way to get from Paris to Brussels (Grand-Place)on 4/25/25 for 2 or 3 hours, then we need to catch a train to London (Waterloo Station) then one to Southampton Central Station (near the port).Any advice or words of travel wisdom would be greatly appreciated 🤗 Thank yo
Hi there, I have a friend travelling with an interail pass from Zurich to Munich, 14 August, departure 7.33am.She’s trying to reserve a seat (family of 4) but the option to continue is greyed out on Rail Europe - ie she can see the train and select it but the seat reservation isn’t possible.I’m assuming it’s because theres no charge. Where’s the best place to book these seat reservations please? Thanks.
Hey guys, unfortunately we missed the deadline for the discount until 18th of July for the One-Country-Pass (France) for our Honeymoon in September. We saw the prices in July and calculated a lot and in the end we missed the offering - do you think we get the chance for another discount/sale in August?Or do you have any other idea about saving the 20 %? Thanks!Julia
Hi! I’m going to be travelling with my interrail pass, together with 2 of my parents (Eurail pass holders) and now we are on the stage of trying to book all the necessary reservation seat. I have several questions:So after learning how to work with the app, is it true that in the interrail app itself, we only need to save the trip routes in our app, then slide and activate the yellow QR code on the day of travel (this is to show the ticketing staff that we have the ticket for the train). Whereas for the reservation seat, we just need to purchase separately from the official website (e.g. SBB, DB, RailEurope, TrenItalia, etc). So later on we have an e-ticket of the number of the seat as well from these websites. Is this correct? I’m trying to book our first seat reservation (for the train of Paris Est -> Strasbourg on 23rd July at 06.52 A.M just like the one stated on the rail planner app). However, the I’m not sure if it’s possible to book seats for all three of us together as the w

Is the local train from Lucerne to Rothesburg covered in Global pass? Thanks.
Hey everyone,I'm new to the Interrail Global Pass and have a question about my outbound journey. I know there are probably similar posts out there, but I want to be absolutely sure!My plan is to take a night train from my home in Italy (let's call it point A) to Austria (point B) on August 1st. I get that only one travel day is used for this, even though I'll arrive in Austria on the 2nd.Here's where I'm unsure: I need to take two trains from my hometown to point A on the same day (August 1st). I know I can use as many trains as I want on a travel day, but should I add the night train first or the two local trains? I'm worried about messing things up since my outbound journey would have already started.Does this make sense? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!As for my inbound journey, I'll manually input:Point B (Germany) to Villach (Austria) Villach to point A (Italy) Two trains from point A to my hometownDoes that sound right?Thanks in advance!PS. seat reservation already done ;
We bought a couple of Global Passes yesterday (7 days in a month - 1st Class) which we secured just before the 20% discount ran out. Only condition is I can’t book anything commencing before Sep 1st, and we don’t leave Australia until Sep 8th, and won’t start the ticket use until late Sep.Made our first booking today (London to Zurich) - no problem.Up to the second booking now (Florence to Rome) and have noticed an anomaly.reservation fees start from EUR30 (1st & 2nd - 2 reservations) as soon as I select a specific service, the price jumps to EUR56 - no matter which service if I try my next booking (London to Milan) same thing occursIf I log out, all bookings on these routes revert to EUR30.Is there something strange occurring in Italy with reservations atm, or is this just the railway company gouging extra for the component of the ticket price they didn’t get? If it’s the latter, I’m feeling very ripped off!!!
Hallo.
Wondering if the current discount is also available when buying in person at a DB?
Hi everyone,My boyfriend and me are going to do interrail from Norway to Budapest in September and we want to know if the 1st class is worth in north-europe trains. Our trip will have the following stops:Bergen - Oslo - Stockholm - Gothenburg - Copenhagen - Berlin - Budapest Kind regards.
Hello everyone !On Thursday 25th. of July I will be travelling from Pisa in Italy to Genève in Switzerland via Nice and Lyon in France. I’ve booked seat reservations with trenitalia as far as the border town of Ventimgilia and should theoretically proceed on to Nice, then Lyon and Finally Geneva. However I’ve noticed that the intercity that I have booked (IC 659) from Genoa to Ventimiglia is almost constantely delayed which could be a problem for me as I have to take the 13h17 train (86042) from Venimiglia to catch my TGV (6850) in Nice to reach my destination. I could go on taking the next train from Ventimiglia but I wouldn’t go further than Lyon as I would arrive after the departure of the last train to Geneva… I have asked to trenitalia’s staff multiple times what could I do in this situation but they have always said to me that, with an interrail, they cannot pay me an hotel for the night or give me a normal ticket to continue my journey the next day (According to them, I would ha
