Hi - I am sharing my travel plan want to know taking pass is worth it ?paris to bruge bruge to paris paris to zurich zurich to interlaken interlaken to zurich zurich to milan milan to florance florance to rome  we are family of 3 and will be travelling between late spetember 24 to first week of october 24, and want to use trains within each city as well to travel around Considering this just need some help to know if eurail pass for 15 days for 3 is worth it ?any help or info on this is much appreciated,

Hi! I'm looking to go on an interrail trip with friends this September, and we'd like to visit Sarajevo.However, it seems like getting there is very hard. Our current plan is taking a (Flix)bus from Zagreb to Sarajevo, and staying there for 2 days. Afterwards we would take the train from Sarajevo to Čapljina, cross the border into Metković and probably have to take a (Flix)bus again to Split.We were wondering if the 2 days in Sarajevo are worth the effort to get there, and the prices of the busses.If somebody has some tricks how to get there easily, or advice this would greatly help us!

I notice that in the past year Trenitalia have adopted an electronic validation procedure for e-tickets on regional trains.  Presumably this is the electronic version of getting a time stamp for one’s ticket before setting off.  I just wanted to check that there is nothing additional one needs to do with an interrail pass when taking regional trains in Italy.Peter

Hello, I reserved seats Vienna to Prague on the 4th of Sept. On the app. it showed only Breclav to Prague booked nothing about Vienna to Breclav. I also see that some reservations ask for a shipping address to send tickets. I just need email tickets as the delivery dates for the tickets is while I am travelling and would not know exactly where I would be. Thanks Rick 

I’m desperately trying to get a train to paris for next week then down to bezziers i need to travel on wednsday 14th  there are littereally no trains avaialble.  it’s a total waste of money paying so much for my intreail ticket and i cant get where i want ?  any one help. i’ve tried reserving through https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#Outbound and still nothing!!

HiI want to book a TGV seat from Paris to Nimes on raileurope.com (28. 8.)  I found information that it should show the seat number before payment, but I don't see any number on the checkout page. The only option is to select a seat aisle/window or upper/lower deck. Am I doing something wrong, or does raileurope no longer show the seat number?I have bought global pass but not activated yet. Thanks for answer. 

Hi my dear fellow Interrailers,I’m quite new to this fascinating Interrail business and haven’t yet taken a nighttrain with it. So here’s my question (I found similar questions, but none quite the same, or I looked in the wrong direction 😅):In october I want to go with the global pass from Hamburg to Innsbruck with the ÖBB night jet and then I want to go directly from Innsbruck to Bologna. How many travel days would that be? And is it a problem that the night train will leave Hamburg at about 8 pm in the evening and won’t cross the border before midnight?And then on my return I want to go from Florence to Innsbruck and from there with the ÖBB night jet back to Hamburg. Does that work? Somewhere I read that I can’t take a night train for an inbound journey, but that doesn’t seem to make any sense to me.Would be so glad if you could help me out 😊Nadia

I have two Eurail passes (5 days in a month) - one for my husband and one for myself. I had set them up with a Trip name and had used the Rail Planner app to select all of the train journeys we want to take. Some of the journeys required a Reservation and I had arranged all of those, one directly with Eurail and several with the rail companies. The UK Rail companies had helped me select connections and had allocated seats for no charge. HOWEVER, I have just changed to a new phone and while all of my apps came down successfully “from the cloud”, all of the detail on my Rail Planner has gone! Of course I have not lost my Eurrail passes and I have started the process of manually adding them to the Rail Planner app but when it comes to the point of the app asking me to “create a name for a Trip”, I can’t understand where my original Trip has gone with all of the train journeys saved on it. I may be able to add the train journeys but I now cannot remember exactly which changes in the journe

Hi I need clarification for travel days activation.I have read that you can modify a travel day only until the day before. Does it mean that, for example, if I want to leave on the 14th I must activate the travel day on the 13th? And If I haven't, I can't activate it on the 14th? Then about the train activation. Let's say that I must activate the day not after the 13th (in order to travel on the 14th), but can I activate the trains on the 14th? This in order to prevent myself from activating a train I won't take (if it's late or other reasons). Or if I want to decide on the same day I travel if I want to leave earlier or not, can I just activate the train on that day? Thanks

Do you now is it possibile to "improve" my reservation for the Trenitalia INI774 from Roma Termini to Trieste Centrale? I have already booked a 5€ seat, but I would change it with a "Couchette" seat (43€).I have already tried on the “reservation overview” section, but it doesn’t work.

Hello all,I hope someone might help me since I’m lost in online research ;)I want to go to France alone with my two kids (12+8). I’m travelling on four days (Hamburg/Nantes; Nantes/Sainte-Foy-La-Grande; Sainte-Foy-La-Grande/Bordeaux; Bordeaux/Hamburg). So now I’m asking myself whether it’s better to get an Interrail-pass for four days or to book the tickets separately. With the compulsory seat reservation, it can get quite costly, but I have to take fast trains cause it’s already a long travel for my kids.Could anyone advise me how to proceed and make a decision? I already checked SNCF and Deutsche Bahn Websites and they are giving me different prices for the same travels 😅Kind regardsNadia

Hello fellow travelers 👋I'm looking for information regarding my trip from Bruxelles to Bordeaux. I'd be traveling with the One Country Pass for France. My question: is the Thalys train connection Bruxelles-Midi to Paris Nord included in the One Country Pass for France and do I only need to pay for the reservation or do I have to buy a separate ticket which is not the Interrail one? It is a direct connection so I don't know which rule applies. Your help would be appreciated 🙏 

Hello,  I’m looking for some advice. My family and I are interrailing for the first time this month. One part of our trip takes us from Levanto to Tirano (to link up with the Bernina Express) on August 23rd. The journey takes a surprisingly long time for the distance (over 8hrs) and one leg (between Colico and Tirano) is by bus. I just wondered if we were missing something, and if perhaps there is an easier and better way to go about this part of our trip, or anyone knew why we have to travel part of the way by bus..? Any and all advice gratefully received!  Many thanks! Tim 

we missed the night train last night (train announced late and in the end it arrived 1 hour early and was announced only one minute before its arrival at the platform!) in short! we are stuck in Hamburg and impossible to find a train to go to Stockholm: reservation required and full trains. I try to look via the deutsche bahn application but impossible to enter the interrail passes. we are this close to returning to France! can someone help me find a solution? thank you

hello, we are leaving in August and are going to cross Germany. I will have to book the train between Hamburg and Copenhagen on August 19. Is it normal that the reservation fees are 3 euros on OBB and 5.20 euros on bahn.fr? Do you think we can take the risk of making these reservations at the station a few days in advance? Do I have to print the reservations or can the control be done on the smartphone? I read a lot that German trains are always late, if you miss a reserved train, what happens? because on August 19 we leave from Berlin Hamburg (non-reservable) then Hamburg Copenhagen. we will also do Copenhagen Amsterdam on August 25th..so passing through Germany. I ask a lot of questions because this is the first time we will travel by interrail. THANKS

I’ve read a lot about the sleeper train from Zagreb to Split and that it’s not possible to book online. I have emailed the reservation email shared in a different topic thread & will see if they respond. If we make the booking at the Zagreb station will they apply an Interrail discount? I can see couchettes that are available to book online and obviously if Croatian railways don’t recognise the pass then there won’t be a point in waiting till we get to the station. Also - has anyone booked a sleeper car - is there usually availability for these as the carriage map seems to suggest there is only one sleeper carriage anyway. Thanks in advance. 

I bought 4 days eurail pass and this is my first trip to Europe. When I am trying to reserve seat from Paris to Geneva, it says around £102 for 2 kids and 2 adults. But if I check other website then tickets are cheaper for same route and same train. What is the benefit of eurail pass if reservation takes more money than normal ticket.

hello, I wanted to book a reservation from Munich to Prague on August 14, 2024 but on db navigator it is noted "connection cannot be reserved", this means that the train is full? This worries me because it's on all trains for the 14th...otherwise can I see it on other sites?

Diese lautet: MADRID-ATOCHA CERCANIAS (Spain) (08.50) - BADAJOZ (Spain) (13:34)BADAJOZ (Spain) (14:09) - (ENTRONCAMENTO (Portugal) (15:52)ENTRONCAMENTO (Portugal) (16:33) - PORTO CAMPANHA (Portugal) (18:52) Bei der ersten Verbindung kann ich in der Interrail Website eine Sitzplatzreservierung vornehmen, dies ist kein Problem. Bei der zweiten Verbindung benötige ich laut der Interrail Website keine Sitzplatzreservierung. Meine Frage wäre zur dritten Verbindung (von Entroncamento nach Porto). Hier steht, dass sie Sitzplatzreservierung nicht über Interrail gemacht werden kann. Ich sehe aber, dass dieser Zug von CP betrieben wird. Alle anderen Züge innerhalb von Portugal (CP), z.B. von Porto nach Lissabon oder nach Lagos benötigen keine Sitzplatzreservierung im Voraus. I have went on to Eurail and put in my place of departure and place of arrival, I am not making this trip until next year but I’m checking into times I would want to leave from and arrive at and how I would go about booking it and making reservations for it. ( Really like this one because it is only one change) I have looked at this itinerary all the way from this date until December 13 and everyone of them says sold out for the TGV INOUI train, I have been putting this itinerary in for the last two weeks and it continuously says sold out, I have went to their website and they say not available but I can’t figure out how to do the reservation part that is just trying to get a ticket. Hi!My boyfriend and I are considering buying the interrail one country pass Switzerland, but we are going to visit Italy for one night. We are travelling from Lugano to Milano, and then Milano to St. Moritz the next day. Where does the one country interrail pass stops? (Where do we have to buy additional tickets from and to?) And is it possible to travel from Milano to St. Moritz and not traveling through Lugano? We want the fastest route and we are traveling 29th of August.  Thank you!

I book three reservations on Eurostar for 18th July two via SNCF, one via Rail europe. Train nearly two hours late ...can I get compensation for any of the reservation payments...if so how?
