Hi, I’ve booked all my hostels and trains up for this summer. One of my connections between Amsterdam and Berlin involved getting a train from Amsterdam to Duisburg HBF (which I have booked) and a train from Duisburg HBF into Berlin HBF (which didn’t need a seat reservation). I’ve just reconfirmed my route and the train from Duisburg to Berlin is now saying ‘Duisburg HBF has been omitted’ and I’m unable to reserve a seat. I’ve attatched a screenshot below so people can see what I mean, for reference it’s the 23:54 from Duisburg , on the 29th July 2024. No other trains in the route have Duisburg omitted.I’m just wondering if anyone’s seen this before and if there’s any way I can find out whether or not the route will be replaced, I’ve contacted deutsche bahn but in my experience they can be very slow to reply. My plan is fairly dependant on this connection so if I can’t get this train I will need to look at other alternatives asap. Many thanks
Hello,June 12th I am planning on travelling from Stockholm to Narvik. I wanted to take a direct nighttrain, but this train does not go due to railwork. So instead I want to take the train from Stockholm to Björkliden, with a change in Boden. The last part from Björkliden to Narvik we will do by bus or hitchhiking. My question is: how can I make reservations for these trains? (A bed for Stockholm-Boden, and a seat for Boden-Björkliden). I’ve tried the following options:Via Vy: you can only make reservations with an Interrail pass by calling them. However, I can’t reach them. I’ve been in their phone queu for more than an hour for a couple of times now, and this is getting quite expensive… They also dont respond to my e-mails. Via Interrail: I get the following error (see screenshot)via SJ: it says “tickets are not released" via Trainplanet: tickets are also not released yet. I called them, and they told me they do not have any information about when they will be released. Please, can
Hi, I'm an idiot- I just bought a month pass but have just realised I only need a 22 day pass. Im travelling on a tight budget, is there anyway I can switch to a 22 day pass and get a refund for the difference?

Hi all, I am travelling between Copenhagen and Gothenburg, and then Gothenburg to Oslo, but the rail planner on the interail website doesn’t hold information for the trains I have found on the countries respective rail booking websites (Sweden and Norway). I want to know if I have to reserve seats on these routes, but also don’t seem to be able to find out on the other websites. anyone know how to reserve seats on these routes? thanks
I had purchased 10 days global pass for travelling in early June. However based on my current itinerary, I will not need 10 days pass and want to exchange and reduced to 5 or 7 days pass. I understand for exchange there is nominal fees of EUR15. but i do not find link or process on how can i proceed with this exchange. Can someone guide on it. Also I presume after deducting EUR15, i would be able to get full refund for day difference right?
Eurail website says Interlaken to Zermatt train is covered, and suggests to choose Eurail Pass under “reduction”. However, the reduction dropdown doesn't show the option Eurail pass. Am i doing it wrong? Does Eurail global work at all for this route?
Traveling from the US to Italy and Germany next month. Purchased a 4-day pass and have already saved my itinerary. I read that it's best not to activate your pass until you actually arrive in Europe since it can't be refunded once activated (just in case something happens last minute and the trip has to be cancelled) but I was wondering how far in advance I should be buying seat reservations? Some of the trains I've picked require them but most are just recommended. I assume I should not wait until I land in Italy to buy them since the could possibly sell out.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Obviously demand is high this time of year but there seems to be zero availability from August 12 onwards (all the way into September and October as well) for the Nightjet from Vienna to Brussels. Any ideas?
Hi every one, I have a small question for you, I planned to take the train beetween Narvik and Stockholm but it close because of derailment. There are bus beetween narvik and Björkliden station and classic train after. I don’t find how to reserve the transfert and if it include in the eurail pass because it replace a train.thanks for your answers kevin

Hello! I booked a 5 day global pass for my family to which I have one day set aside to go from Milan Central to Varenna to visit lake como. When looking up the route on the eurail site it states that these trains dont require set reservations but when I go to the Trenitalia sitte directly it gives me the option to purchase tickets and for a specific train ride and to purchase with a credit card which means I am not using my day I had set aside on my global pass. I want to use 1 day out of the 5 I have to book these tickets. How do I do that through eurail? Is there a way to book the tickets through the Trenitalia site using my family’s eurail pass #s without having to purchase tickets on a credit card? Or with eurrail is the only way I have to book tickets is to go to the station during our trip? I would prefer to purchase the tickets now vs risk trying to get during my trip. Any suggestions or instructions would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to see if I can reserve a Eurostar seat for use with an Interrail card (which I haven’t bought yet). On the drop-down menu, the Interrail option is surrounded by a red outline when I select it. If I select the Eurail one it lets me proceed. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
OK, so next issue I see travelling from Tirano to Milan weekend of 19/07/2024 - I go to book Trenord for train from Tirano to Milan morning of the 20th July - cannot see any train schedule. Train schedule stops 08/07/2024.I check https://valtellinamobile.it/lavori-ferrovia-milano-tirano/ for disruptions etc and it translates to the below:The dates of the train block in 2024 and 2025 on the Lecco – Tirano lineLECCO – TIRANO and COLICO – SONDRIO – TIRANOPreparatory works for the 2026 Olympics 9 June 2024 – 8 September 2024 (90 day line interruption.LECCO – TIRANO and LECCO – COLICOPreparatory works for the 2026 Olympics June 2025 – September 2025 (90 day line interruption).Does this mean that line from Tirano to Milan on Trenord will not be running? Will it be diverted to a different route?Help appreciated - did not expect to strike issues in Switzerland over this time but I guess everything is geared for winter season perhaps? (hence Olympics?)
I’m trying to book a train from Berlin to Gdynia (a journey with RE1 then EC59 connection) on the DB website. In the journey details, it says that the EC59 requires compulsory reservation. However, when I’m trying to continue with the booking, this error message popped up: “Reservation cannot be madeUnfortunately, a reservation is not possible for this connection. Due to compulsory reservation, a booking is therefore not possible. Please choose another connection.”so I cannot do the booking. Can someone help me on how to book tickets for this journey online? It’s stressing me out haha.
I'm planning a train trip England to France using Interrail, in about in a months time. I've made all the seat reservations and paid the supplements, but I cannot see the tickets or where to find them and they have not been emailed to me. I've downloaded the payment confirmation. However I have received the tickets for Eurostar and successfully printed them and downloaded them. But where are the other tickets?
Zoltan.
Hi,I’ve been trying to reserve seats for my wife and I on EN 40476 from Budapest to Berlin in late July and haven’t had much luck.I first saw a recommendation to book this via oebb.at. I can book a combined ticket/reservation through that website, but if I search for reservations only, the website indicates “Ticket not available”. It’s a similar story with cd.cz and MAV -- it looks like they’ll happily sell me a pair of tickets but separate reservations aren’t available. Things get even weirder if I try to book it through the Eurail website directly. If I search for tickets for the two of us, I only see two options -- the seating compartment (ouch) and 2x single sleeper cabins ($$$). However, if I search for a ticket for one of us, I see all of the expected seat types. These prices seem pretty high, but they are quite a bit less than the full ticket prices via oebb / MAV, so I guess this is just what a reservation costs? But regardless, I have no idea why I wouldn’t be able to choose a
Hello! First time user of this great website. I live in the USA and will be visiting Switzerland and Germany next month (June) for the first time. I am also going to ride trains from city to city in Europe for the first time and hope to get some good advice on whether I should buy individual tickets (in advance) or a Eurail flexi pass. After my group tour ends in Bern, Switzerland, my friend and I will need to take trains as follows. I have included what I think is the price for each ticket based on my online research today:6/20: Bern to Zurich, spend a couple of hours in Zurich €26.506/20: Zurich to Munich €57.906/22: Munich to Strasbourg, France €57.806/24: Strasbourg to Baden-Baden, stop for lunch, then Baden-Baden to Heidelberg ~ €446/26: Heidelberg to Frankfurt ~ €22 We will be on trains on four different days, so a four-day Eurail flexi pass would be the choice if we buy passes. We’re over age 60, so with the senior discount, the four-day pass is €255.And based on the pri
We have Global Passes for travel in Germany and Switzerland later this summer. When I try to buy seat reservations for the Chur to Zermatt segment of our trip, the online system keeps trying to make me buy new tickets rather than just paying for seat reservations. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, We want to take Bosphorus Express (Bucuresti —> Istanbul) just after the night train from Budapest to Bucuresti but, if someone already did that, we have some questions : We have 3hours for the connexion, do you think this is possible ? (Or does the train from Budapest to Bucuresti is often delayed?) Do you think we can book our tickets the day for the day for the Bosphorus express? (We are in the middle of august we are afraid it will be full). We ask the company CFR and it is not possible to book it online or by phone/email with interrail passes. Thank you for your help !! :) Mélanie
