I’ve got a Eurrail pass and I’ll be heading south from Lithuania and I’m not entirely clear how close I can get to it.
We are two seniors and are flying from Malaga to Barcelona to begin our train travel to Narbonne, France, Toulouse, Donostia San Sebastian, Spain, Bilbao, Gijon, and ending in Porto, Portugal.Does it make sense to purchase a Global Pass vs separate bookings? Do I also need to make reservations for all of these?
Hi,I’m booking a trip to Cinque Terre for the 18th of June, and i know there are some nightjet connections from Germany to Italy are under construction from June until september, but when looking at nightjet tickets for NJ 40295 Munchen to La Spezia it says i can book it but the website also says “please note that travel times can still change”.Does anyone have an accurate source as to wether or not that specific line is also closed for the summer? Or what would happen if i book and it turns out that it won’t be going, will I be eligible for a refund? Thanks in advance!
Bonjour, je souhaitais savoir s’il était possible d’acheter un pass directement au guichet de sa gare, pour éviter l’attente de délai de livraison. Sinon, quelles sont les délais de livraison d’un pass? Hello, I wanted to know if it was possible to buy a pass directly at the ticket office of your station, to avoid waiting for delivery times. If not, what are the delivery times for a pass?
I am from India and new to Global pass for Europe. Global pass should be valid for internal travel as well. Most of the travel in Italy does not shows valid for global pass. Does this means Global pass is only for internal to Europe and for metropolitan station travel only

Hi, help requested!I am fairly new to Interrail. Our first journey is from Santander (coming in on ferry from Plymouth UK) to Bilbao .. but when I enter this journey on Eurail it comes up with ridiculously long journeys of 11 or 23 hours. Anyone know what’s going on? It’s only 46 miles! Hmm? Advice about making reservations in Spain gratefully received. Many thanks :)
Hello,I'm contacting you because I'd like to book two journeys from Bologna Centrale to Paris, with two global interrail passes. On the Bahn website (https://int.bahn.de/fr) I can't select the interrail passes from the discounts on offer. Can you tell me on which site I can make my reservations? Thanks in advance.
Hello,I would like to book a journey from Bari to Bologna using the Interrail Global pass on the OBB website (https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/ticket). However, I have to choose between two options:One day tickets and day ticketsorSeat reservation only (no ticket)Can you tell me which one to choose? Thank you for your help.
Hello there, Me and my friend are planning to visit france, we bought the interrail pass and booked our seats, how ever we got completely different seats for parts of the journey in the TGV, is there anything we can do about that?Looking forward to a response :)Matthias
We are not able to make a reservation from Bratislava to Krakow.. We already have an hotel in Krakow at the start of our trip in Poland… But we hear that we have to wait for reservations 60 days before departure - and they also said that the trains are always full…Can you help us for our trip starting 9 September from Vienna..
Hello, I hope this is not to silly of a question but I am really anxious about booking as I do not trust I am looking at the right things.I can see and know about certain booking reservations (which some are mandatory like the Euro tunnel trains) and also where to look at the train times on the app. However I am not sure WHICH train I can use or would be using and also I cannot seem to book it on the app too. I am not sure if it is because maximum reservations have been made using the pass or if I am doing something wrong.I also see that some of the reservations are 30+ Euros for trains as short as 20minutes is this because I have not applied a pass?Hope this makes sense, I don’t like to ask too much but it is quite expensive to mess these things up :)
I’m planning a honeymoon to Europe in Winter time (29th Dec → 20th Jan) and here is my itinerary: Day 1: Land in ZurichDay 2: Zurich to Grindelwald Day 3: Visit Lauterbrunnen Day 4: Grindelwald to Geneva Day 5/6: Take train to Florence (unsure if there’s a eurail train from Geneva to Florence or should I go to another city) Day 7: Florence to Cinque Terre and back to Florence Day 8: Florence to Rome and back to FlorenceDay 9/10: Florence to Paris and visit Lourve, Champ ElyseesDay 11: Notre damDay 12/13: Paris to Edinburgh and visit local places like Edinburgh castleDay 14: Scott Monument, Winter museum Day 15: Train to GlasgowDay 16: Edinburgh to London Day 17/18/19/20: Explore London city and the local attractions before flying out back home. I hope that I can use Eurail pass for all the above destinations but I’m sure Eurail does not cover all local transports. If Eurail doesn’t cover, should I get the local pass? And how many days of Eurail pass should I consider getting? Now I k
Hello community , I am currently in Bern. I don't have any days left in my interrail Global pass. Have 2 trips left in inbound outbound. My idea is to book a ticket from bern to basel geemany side and to use the outbound from there? Is it OK?
Hi all.I'm looking at reserving a bed in a couchette for the night train from Vienna to Paris on 27th. It's €29 ish to do this via the OBB night jet website (for a 6 bed womens' only). Before I book, I was wondering if it's worth booking it at the train station in Vienna instead (or Bratislava if they're able to do it from there) to see if I can get it cheaper. Any insight would be appreciated.
Hi, I am trying to book 2 seats from Madrid to London, but the message showed on the web says that that kind of trip is not allowed with my pass. I have the global pass which allows 2 tickets from/to my country. Thanks!
The train D10300 from Berlin-Stockholm seamingly does NOT stop at Malmö C.(29th May 23:59 from Hamburg Hbf)A couple weeks ago when I booked my reservation it still did and my ticket also ends at this station eventhough the train does not stop there anymore.According to the Snalltaget website it should stop, but scotty/DB navigator/google maps say it doesn't.Does anyone why this is the case?
We have Global 4 day passes. It appears that one can add a global pass to only one "Trip". I see that I can add many "Journies" to a "Trip" in the app.My question: Is it necessary to add all of the "Journies" we plan to take to the Trip before we activate the pass connected to that "Trip"?I want to activate the pass for the "Trip" on day 1 for a specific train "Journey," and then wait until days later before I add a "Journey" for day 2 of the pass. I'm not sure if the app will let me do that. Thanks!
I have downloaded the app but I would also like to have a paper pass. How and where do I order that. I live in Sweden.
Hi all, I am considering taking the early 6AM train from Vienna to Venice on 20 July 2024 (as a consequence of the Nightjet being cancelled); however, it also seems that RJ 131 is experiencing disruptions. I would like to ask whether anybody has insight into what such a route would look like and how long it would take?I am happy to take a bus (seeing as the Villach to Carnia bus is 1hrs only on Google maps) but my main concern is scenery (scenic trains in Australia are much more expensive than Europe!!) and whether the train will get to Venice around 2, otherwise I’d rather take a plane for time saving considerations.Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.
Hi, I intend to travel from London to Brussels next month (then onto Austria and Switzerland). I have two passports, British and EU. Which one should I use for filling out the API for Eurostar?I haven't booked my return yet, but when I do, which one should I use then? Many thanks in advance.
Need to purchase 2 senior global passes and was interested if they would be having a sale anytime soon
Hi all. I've been winging my trip - so far I've done Paris-The Hague-Amsterdam-Berlin-Munich-Vienna-Venice-Florence-Rome-Zagreb (flight). I'm currently in Zagreb and I'm looking to start making my way back to London via train but I'm a bit stuck for ideas on how to do this. All of the night and direct trains are booked up/have no seat reservations available according to OBB. I'm looking at leaving Zagreb tomorrow. Ideally I'd like to not repeat anywhere, but I'd happily do Vienna again maybe. Cheaper countries are preferred but I'm flexible. Oh and I have more than enough days left on my interrail pass. I bought too many days in the end. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. :)
Hello I really need your help, :) I want to travel from Stockholm to Gällivare in August with nighttrain and interrail. I did this last year, but this year the booking system is very strange. On sj.se the trains are not avaible yet. On sj.se even the trains for for June are not avaible yet. When will they put the trains on their website? On vy.se they are avaible. But is it possible to buy the seat reservation for interrail on vy.se? When I want to buy a seat and I type my Interrail Pass Number as discount it wont get cheaper than normal price. If it is not possible to only buy the reservation for seat for interrail - is it possible on other websites? On vy.se I saw that the train connection is 14hours in July and 17hours in August, why? Will there be a 14hours one in August released soon?Thank you very much for your helpPaul
