Hi guys, my friend booked all of our seat reservations for our whole group. No one else can see them on our app apart from her even though she used all of our inter-rail pass numbers. Is this normal?

Hi, I want to reserve the seats for my travel but I can’t add my sister (she has paid for her pass too) as an other traveler. How can I do that ?

I’m trying to book seats for January with eurail global pass and it doesn’t seem to be available. Is it likely they are sold out?

I booked a journey from London to Leipzig and now realise that the transfer time is impossible at Brussels because of customs etc - I naively thought that I would not be offered a train that it would be impossible to catch. So….I’ve paid for a reservation on Eurostar, but want to change the Brussels to Leipzig leg. Is it possible to do this, or do I have to start all over again and lose my reservation fee? Also, how much time should I allow for the transfer at Brussels?And do I need to book the Brussels to Leipzig leg or can I just get on the next available trains (after checking that they are valid for the Global Pass).

I want to take the EN40459 from Zurich to Prague. However, the entire route only has sleeper cabins or seats, and I would like to sleep in a couchette car due to budget reason.I have noticed that the train is actually coupled together with NJ409 and EC459 from Zurich (19:59) until Leipzig Hbf (04:49), and NJ409 offers couchettes. (After Leipzig Hbf, NJ409 continues to Berlin while EC459 goes to Prague) Is it allowed to reserve a couchette in NJ409 to Leipzig Hbf, then get off the train and go to another carriage of what is technically the same train in the EC459 portion, without activating another travel day?Alternatively, could I reserve a seat on the EC459 from Zurich (19:59) to Prague (09:15), which technically begun on an activated travel day, but not get on the train until Leipzig Hbf (04:49), which is on the next day, without activating that day? Could I do the same without reserving a seat?

Hi. We are travelling next Thursday (4th June) using iterrail-M passes through a travel agent. I have loaded all the pass details onto my phone for us both but not activated either yet. Can I copy this to the other phone as backup then activate them if my phone gets lost or dies?What is the procedure if I have t activate the passes on the other phone?

Hey! I won the DiscoverEU ticket, an interrail pass. I want to book a ticket from Romania to Budapest, but it sais that i can not book the ticket from the website. The train leaves at 04:00 so would that count as a night train, and that could be the problem? How could I solve the situation? The DiscoverEU app sais that I need a seat reservation. Is there anyone who booked a ticket from Romania to Budapest and could give me some advices? I would be really rateful.

On my upcoming trip this May, I am planning to take the train from Copenhagen to Frankfurt. My wife and I have the 1st class Global pass and we understand that we don’t need to make a reservation for this trip. However, we would like to reserve and pick our seats if possible, but it seems only the Hamburg to Frankfurt leg allows us to pick the exact seats, while the Copenhagen to Hamburg leg has automatically assigned seats even if we pay for reservation. I’ve checked this both on the DSB and DB website and it is the same for both. My question is whether the Copenhagen to Hamburg leg allows for picking exact seats closer to the date (say 2 months in advance?), or will it always be automatically assigned? If we can’t pick seats for the first leg regardless, would it make more sense to just make the whole reservation now so that I have more choices of seats for the Hamburg to Frankfurt leg? Hi I am trying to book a train from Paris to Florence via Milan Central  on 20 August.  I have managed to buy Paris to Milan but can’t get any for Milan Centrale to Firenze. I just get “No price results were found.  Pass holder seats may be sold outdoor this connection but there may be other ways to check for available seats”. Does this mean that they are definitely not available as Interrail?Are there any other ways to secure a Interrail qualifying seat? Thanks

Hi guys, I bought a Pass in March but it’s Not showing up in my Account? And I havent got anything through the Post either, but my Money is gone? Any idea where my Pass could be? 

I have made a reservation for a TGV from Barcelona to Paris in August but selected the wrong day, the 14th instead of the 15th. I can’t change or cancel the reservation within the interrail.eu site (where I made the reservation). Is there a way to change the reservation? I have a Global Plus pass and have used credits for the reservation…

I just bought a railpass and in a hurry I used my Apple ID but my e-mail provider is different and haven’t received the code now and will most likely not receive the code at all. And unfortunately I need to use the ticket very soon. Within 24 hours.Any experience with this?

Hi! If you receive a message saying that a train will not depart as planned (and no further information) but you see in the app that it will take a different route can you still take it with your reservation? Nightjet 457 was supposed to depart 20 13 from Berlin hbf but is now scheduled 20 25 from Berlin suedkreuz and going to Breclav instead of straight to Wien hbf. 

We have made a jounrey on our German Rail Twin Pass for a trip from Salzurg to Nuremburg. The trip is on two parts - Salzburg to Munich and Munich to Nuremburg, all in one day.  When we try to book seats from Salburg to Munich,  we get a message that “one or more passes don’t cover this journey”, yet it does allow us to book the trip!  Does this simply mean that “No seat reservations” are available?   Seats for Munich to Nuremburg are listed as unavailbe until 90 days before departure.

Two adults and four children (no family). I want to pay for all and collect the pass on my Handy. How ro Do that (if possible)? 

Hi, My friends and I were trying to book seat reservations to travel from Budapest to Split departing the 9th of July. We have de Interrail Global Pass. But, in the website it seems that there are not reservations available for train NT 1880, so I wanted to know if they are going to be available or if they are sold out, and if that is the case what could I do. Also I would like to know if there are other alternatives that could match my journey. Thank you and I wait for your answer ! 

I’m reserving my seats for the trains, and it’s not giving me the option to book first class seats but I payed for a first class pass, why is this as it is ridiculous

Hi there, I know Thameslink is included in the Interrail pass but I can’t find anyway to add their services to the pass via the Rail Planner app (going from Gatwick airport to Tottenham Hale). Is there any way to do this or will any inspector accept an Interrail ticket even if the journey hasn’t been added-I just want to avoid any potential trouble!

I've been travelling quite a lot over the past few months, getting good value out of my 3-month continuous pass :)Finally I've now also caught up with the posts in the Interrail community, as some of you might have noticed. Additionally, I've been taking notes about things in the app that are not quite right or misleading and that's what this post is about. Some of the notes are already older, from a previous trip with a mobile flexi pass; I could not re-check all of them (I don't have a valid Interrail at this time) and they may have been fixed in the mean time.So here goes, in no particular order...The app said an internet connection is needed to activate a day on a flexi pass ("Add to pass" for the first journey of the day), although the phone had been online only half a day earlier. The mobile pass FAQ does not mention any other requirement than being online at least once every 3 days. If for certain actions an internet connection is needed, then please add that to the FAQ. Do I have to add all my travel days to the Global Pass in advance, or can I do that during the travel days?
