I heard that the Brienz Lake boat tour from Interlaken is also covered in the Interrail pass. Do I need to reserve a seat/book? Is it usually in full capacity on summer? I’m thinking of taking the boat around 4 pm 

I’ve been trying to book something in France for the better part of a week and I keep getting the notification on the top of the page that it’s not working. What's an alternative way to make French train reservations with a US credit card? It says 'Prices temporarily unavailable. Check back in a few hours to see prices and book this seat reservation.' And it has for a while now. But when you go to the alternative options it offers you, you get this:'Others ways to book this seat reservationBook in person at a main station in Europe Book online at travel.b-europe.com Reservations for domestic trains by phone through "Ligne Directe" 36 35. I will be going to Switzerland in the summer (might re-visit for winter again), hence for this trip, I am really interested in the Brienz Rothorn Bahn as I think going on winter won’t have the same scenery.  But it’s pretty pricey (return trip is 96 CHF, is it not covered by interrail, not even a discount?), is it really worth it? The cable car to the top of Zermatt is almost similar price even. Any suggestion or maybe there are other more affordable steam trains for interrail holders? Addition: is it possible to get one way up, then hike down? or would that be too much of a hike Thank you!

I need recommendation on which panoramic train/(s) to choose from in Switzerland as eurail holders (travelling at 23-26 July): here is our rough planned itinerary for now (the one colored blue are the one we’re going to activate our eurail passes)The one trip i am most indecisive with panoramic train i think would be our last trip from interlaken to Venezia Mestre. Hi, I will be travelling between my country of residence (UK) and the EU 3 times during 1.5 months and wondering if there is some option that allows multiple entry-exits from one’s country of residence? I had considered getting a Eurail pass, but don’t think I’ll be allowed to long-term.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello everyone, I am travelling to the UK for the first time and also making use of the eurail global mobile pass for the first time and would like to know how to add the exact train that I have booked seat reservation on, to my trips in my mobile pass. From what I can see, the mobile pass only shows you timings of the trains between two places and there is no information such as train number etc. written anywhere on the railplanner app. I have booked my seat reservation from Edinburgh to London on LNER website by matching the timetable on the rail planner app to that of the LNER website. How do I ensure that my seat reservations are on the exact train that I have added to my pass?

Hi,I am traveling to Germany and Switzerland. I am going to Dusseldorf to Cologne, Freiburg, Poschiavo, Tirano and Zurich. I am planning to get a Global Pass 1st class. Is it worth getting 1st class and is it worth purchasing the plus (refundable) for the pass? If I miss a connection while traveling can I get a different train to my destination as long as it is within the one travel day? I’m a bit nervous traveling on my own for the first time and not sure if I’ll make all the trains I need. Thank you!Y

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to book seats in advance without first entering the journey in the Mobile Pass? The background to this is that we don't know whether we will be able to make the journey, we will only find out a few days beforehand. Hi,I need to book two sleeper compartments on the obb nightjet from Genoa to Munich on October 24th. I've been checking the nightjet website regularly to book as soon as they become available. I was able to book another nightjet connection for 29th September a while back, but the 30th September is the latest date available. I'm wondering if anyone has any info on when the bookings for October might become available or if the night train from Italy to Munich will be running normally in October?

Dear Community,i would love to travel more by train. I would like to  travel by train to France for a Qi Gong retreat. I found a connections from Hamburg to Mannheim to Lyon. I will only reach Lyon by 8pm and I am a bit worried with the usual delay / cancellation situation from DB if I will really reach 😅 I couldn’t find a good earlier connection. Or even a night connection. I have already purchased my EU rail pass and also reserved seats for the routes I will be travelling on through the EU rail website. I have downloaded the Rail planner app and added my travel pass on that. Is there a way I can link my e-tickets for the seat reservations with my pass? If not, what is the use of the app if I have to download and print out e-tickets to show to the ticket inspector?

I'm going to the EURO’s next summer. I travel from Brussels to German host cities. These are my travel movements: Brussels - Hamburg, Hamburg - Brussels, Brussels - Leipzig, Leipzig - Brussels, Brussels - Munich, Munich - Brussels. Can I use the German Rail Pass with these travel movements? Or do I need another Pass?

I have 2 seat reservations on Malmö C - Sthlm CentralSJ, Snabbtåg, X 2000, at 12.07.is this train still running ? I could go on the earlier train at 11.07but I can’t get prices on DB website atm for any trains Malmo Stockholm on the 8/05/24.

Hi,I am planning a trip for the summer of 2024 and am looking to reserve my trains. When I go to reserve through the website it says “prices unavailable”. I followed the websites instructions and booked my reservations through the ck.cz website as advised. With these reservations, will I be okay to just show up on the day with my reservation from their website and with my inter rail pass? I do not want to get fined!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Hi Interrailers,There’s a small but non-negligible chance i’ll miss my Zagreb-Split night train.If i understand rightly:if you list a journey on your mobile pass, then from 00:01 that day, that’s one travel day used up, whether or not you actually make it onto the train. Miss the train, lose a travel day, for nothing.So i got to thinking…What if i don’t add that journey AT ALL until the very last moment, when i’m sure of catching the train – or even when i’m actually ON it (internet connection allowing).I already have the couchettes booked; but what if i wait until the last second before actually adding the train to the travel diary? That way i shouldn’t lose a travel day unnecessarily.Or am i missing something important?Thanks in advance for your avuncular advice,Badger
