Can I get a refund for a 3-months global pass bought in last year's promo at the interrail site?

As an interrail addict I bought a 3 month interrail at last year's (2026) promo, planning to use it Februari - May this year. A broken ankle prevented me from travel. Latest start date is November 8. Obligations make it difficult to travel until mid-January. I will still use it form some small journeys. But is it still possible to get a refund of 90% or was that zero?
(And yes, of course I'm buying a pass in the current sale)
Thanks

If you're buying a new pass, then you want to do an exchange, which has lower fees. You first buy a new pass and then return the old one:

https://www.interrail.com/en/interrail-passes/ordering-info/refund-exchange-policy

Whether your old pass can be refunded depends on the conditions of the promo. Since you apparently bought it on 8/12/2025, that was during the black Friday sale, when passes were indeed refundable and exchangeable.
