I want to avoid using a day on my Pass.

Can I use the app to pay for a journey, to avoid using a day from my Pass?

If you mean the Rail Planner app, then no, because you can't use it to buy regular tickets.

@Ronanodon But you can of course buy a regular ticket for that train on for example the website of that train operator.
