Interrail Passes

I am indian citizen, currrently living in netherlands for 6months (Onsite visit)& i have netherlands resident permit card for validity till December 2025.Am i eligible for Interrail youth travel pass?, as i wish to travel across europe over weekends.

I travel by train with my bicycle. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a place for a bicycle on a long-distance train at short notice. However, if I only take regional trains to get home (I am coming from France and need to get to Berlin), it could take me several days.Is this possible with an Interrail ticket? How do I show this?

Hello Eurail Support, My wife’s Eurail Global Pass (Pass reference: ZLPMYZ, 1st class Adult) was activated incorrectly. The 4th travel day was set to 26 August 2025, but in reality she did not use the pass that day. It should have been activated on 27 August 2025 instead. Now the system shows all 4 travel days as used, but she only traveled 3 days. Could you please check this error and restore one travel day? Thank you very much for your support.

I made a seat reservation using the Eurail app before planning my trip. I'd like to know how to add train seat reservations to my travel plans after the fact. This is my first time using the Eurail Pass and app. I'm from Japan.

Hello,I am currently trying to decide which ticket I should get.I was wondering if the First Class Pass is worth it, since to actually benefit from first class, I will always have to pay for seat reservation right? So is it worth getting? Additionally, are the seat reservations cheaper if I have the Interrail pass or is it the same price as if I didn’t have a pass? For second class there are a lot of trains that don’t require reservation so I am more leaning on getting that one.

Is it possible to have paper pass as backup?I dont just want to rely on mobile app.

heyy, i'd like to meet new people and since i'll go to the logoten in 2 weeks i wondered if there are more young people like me who would like to hike, play cards, watch stars and wildcamp together:)my insta is anni.1418just text me it would be a dream if we could create a group of young people and spend some nice unforgetable nights together:)

I bought the Interrail Pass and had it emailed to me, and now I have it on my phone through the app. But I'd also like to have a physical copy of the pass, but I don't know how to get it. If anyone can help me, thank you.

Is the following scenario possible: I purchase the 5 days in a month pass. I travel from Karlsruhe (Germany) to Neapel (Italy). From Neapel to Bologna (both Italy). One day trip to a small town outside of Bologna (Italy). From Bologna to Karlsruhe. From Karlsruhe to Leeds (UK).Does that work?

HiI have purchased Eurail Global pass 10 days within 2 months.I have completed my itinerary in My Trip in the app for 9 days but have not yet activated the pass as my first day of travel is 8 September. Can I add the remaining Day 10 in the trip after the pass has been activated and I have commenced the travel?  Reason being I am considering a few options for the Day 10 depending on how I go.Regards

We are a family of 3 with a four year old and planning to travel across 10 countries within 40 days time using Euro rail. Can anyone recommend buying first class is a good idea or would the 2nd class do the same job for a lower price? What extra benefits we get for first class? We will be covering Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungry, Netherland, France, Spain and Portugal.

According to recent newspaper reports, the introduction of the EU Entry/Exit system (EES) on 12th October will require travellers from non-EU countries to confirm at automated kiosks that they have proof of accommodation, sufficient funds for their trip, medical insurance and a return or onward ticket. If you answer "no" you're likely to be referred to a border official for further questioning, potentially including refusal of entry. This means that those of us from non-EU countries that normally book the return journey whilst on the continent will either have to do so before entering the EU or risk being told they can’t travel to the EU.Hopefully more guidance will be forthcoming over the next few weeks as to how this will work in practice.

I am trying to book my seat reservation for the 12th-  tomorrow’s train from Paris to Amsterdam at 10:25 am from the Nord station. It is not letting me and in fact gives no options for this route at all, please help! So confused

I will be travelling from next week on an Interrail pass. Officially, it appears from the website that my iPhone is no longer supported by Interrail (it cannot be updated to iOS 16, which appears to mean that my Rail Planner app can no longer be updated). However, I did not notice until now (actually, it’s possible my phone was still supported when I bought the pass!): I still have the app and it still works just fine. I was able to add my pass and activate it, and QR codes are showing up as expected. The only issue I have encountered so far is that the schedule is not always up to date (e.g., Eurostar trains are not showing up at all), so that I am having to add some journeys manually (which, anyway, I have had to do in the past as well, even with up-to-date app versions). This probably reflects the fact that it’s an old version of the app.Do you think there is any risk that the QR codes generated by my app might not scan or be considered invalid? (I cannot tell how old my app version

I have uploaded my EURail Global pass in my mobile phone Rail Planner App.I was creating My Trip to connect to my EURAIL Global pass.By mistake I created a journey on 14th August in stead of 14th September. How do I delete my 14th August journey or modify it? Regards

I have a rail pass, and am trying to find a train from Milan to zermatt. Nothing comes up on here, but I have found Milano central-Brig, and then brig to Visp, but can’t find the Visp-Zermatt leg except for on the train line site for another $100. Before I pay another $100 on top of my pass, is there anything else I can do on here?

Hello, I'm currently on the train with my friends, starting Interrail with my Interrail Global Pass, which I got through the DiscoverEU program. I can't find a way to show the QR code for my pass to the ticket inspector. It doesn't appear in either the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app. This is very serious and worrying, as I'll have to show my pass on all the trains I've already booked, and it won't let me enter it on my phone, either in the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app. For more context: I originally had my pass on the DiscoverEU app, but in order to make train reservations, it asked me to enter my pass on the Interrail Planner website, where I made all my reservations. And right now, I can't enter the pass on my phone in the DiscoverEU app. I have my pass code and all the confirmation and activation emails, and everything I've done with DiscoverEU so far.

I will be leaving the UK with my interrail pass and I have the Eurostar journey booked. Do I also need to book the journey that takes me to London or can I just board and show the app pass? Thanks!Dunja

Many tickets / reservations can be added to Apple or Google Wallet.Below are examples from Trenitalia, České Dráhy, SNCF, italo, and UK National Rail in my wallet. There are plenty others that work, of course. It really makes things easy when traveling. No need to print reservations out, or save a PDF, or worry that a QR code is going to disappear, you'll be logged off or lose internet connection. When it's in Apple Wallet I'm 100% confident it will still be there when the ticket inspector comes. (Unlike web using Rail Planner 😕)It would be so great if the Interrail / Eurail pass could be added to a wallet like this.  😃

Merci merci!

I am going on a trip soon and will be using the mobile pass for the first time. I read and watched the video on how to use the mobile pass but it was very fast moving, even pausing and re-watching. I have the 7 days in a month mobile pass.12 years ago I had a paper Eurail pass, again for 7 days in a month, I simply picked the train I wanted, by writing the train and route on paper, and hopped on. Sometimes I even boarded the train first, sat down, then wrote down the name of the train I was on after departure. Is it still that simple? I don’t know why but it makes me very nervous because it seems a lot more complex, with hard deadlines on when to book and choose a train. I see ‘up to 24 hours’ etc. I am now a family of 4 and imagine myself frantically trying to link the train I need for 4 people at the last second, or trying to activate the day too early and losing one of my days. I’ll be in Italy and Switzerland. Most of the trains I am taking need reservations, which I already got th

It’s my last of my 7-day train  within my 30 Day Interrail Pass, but not the last of the 30-day range.I’m leaving Oslo at 15:45 and will arrive in Hamburg at 05:58 in the morning. To get to Frankfurt, I’ll need to book a separate ticket, since it’s not included in my pass. Is that right?Thank you

I got a eurail pass for 4 days in one month and have it all planned out to go from london to paris to madrid.. etc, but I was wondering if I can use my pass for shorter local journeys in each city on travel days as well? For example, I’m going to arrive in Paris around 11 in the morning and want to use that day to explore the city. Can I just my eurail pass to get around the city that day or is local travel not included? And if It is included how do I go about adding those journeys to my pass?

Hello, I already created a trip that is linked to my DiscoverEU interrail pass. I would like to share it with the people I will be travelling with. I have already tried sharing the trip as a link but it opens in the Eurail planner mobile app. Is there a way to share a trip in the DiscoverEU app? Are my friends forced to use Eurail planner?
