The Interrail experience I’m most looking forward to is a “top to bottom” of Europe, starting in northern Finland and heading down the eastern side of Europe that (for me) is less traveled, until I get down to Ankara and *then* decide whether the end of the line for me will be Samsun, Kars, Tatvan or Kurtalan.

Along the way I have to visit Białystok.  It has been on my list since realising the link with the character Max Bialystok from The Producers.  Belgrade is on the list too.  Last time I was there it was the other side of the Iron Curtain.

The plan is to take as many sleepers as possible along the way.  I haven’t planned it out fully yet, but between Finland, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey it’s almost entirely covered.

My girlfriend and I are planning to go to Scandinavia. So we are really looking forward to seeing more of beautiful Northern Europe. Can't wait to spend nights under the northern lights, see the fjords and of course make hopefully a lot of new memories together at every step of the journey. :)

Apart from going by train from Sweden to Oslo, I haven't travelled by train in Norway. So going on Flamsbanan and other scenic routes in Norway is on my bucket list.

I’d probably play it safe at first and crisscross a familiar country like Italy and really make use of the years I’ve spent learning the language (nothing like an argument at the station ticket office for a trial by fire). Or maybe I’d be bold and strike out for the Netherlands and crawl northwards through Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway - a whole swathe of Europe I’ve never seen.

Me and my best friend have always dreamed of getting to travel together and we think that interrail will surely be the perfect adventure for us! We look forward to meeting other travellers all over europe, learning new things, practicing languages and visiting countries we have never seen. Our final dream destination would be Turkey!

Hi from Sweden!  My best friend and I have never travelled abroad before, and we’re actually planning our first trip together — an Interrail adventure! 🚆 Winning these passes would mean so much to us and would give us the chance to experience our very first trip abroad, discover new places, meet new people and create memories we’ll never forget. It would be such an amazing start to our travel journey! 🥹🌍

I’m most looking forward to hopping on a night train from Munich to Vienna, then continuing east through Bratislava and Budapest—meeting new people in hostels and discovering smaller towns along the Danube that I’d never reach by plane.

I’m not just looking forward to the places an Interrail Pass could take me I’m looking forward to the person I might become along the way. 🚆🌍

I want to watch from the window as one landscape dissolves into another, step off at stations I’ve never heard of, wander without a rigid plan, share stories with strangers, and collect the kind of memories that never make it onto an itinerary.

Seven travel days wouldn’t just be seven days of travelling; they would be seven chances to say why not?, seven new beginnings, and countless little moments that could become stories I’ll tell for years.

That is the Interrail experience I’m dreaming of: not simply crossing Europe, but getting a little lost, finding something unexpected, and coming home feeling like I’ve seen the world—and myself—differently. ❤️🚆

I'm looking forward to my trip to Alsager, to visit family and from there out off to Scotland.
Love to explore more and visit less familiar places.
I only have been in London and to be fair, that was on a bike and a lot of work to gt to places. Going by train will make my journey a lot easier on the legs 😅

My Interrail experience is to visit new places by train. The travel is part of the journey with Interrail. I'm looking to visit Poland by train. But on the way to it other countries too.

I’d love to visit more of Poland, maybe heading to the Baltic countries afterwards too.

I want to win Interrail because I’ve decided to take this trip with my friends. We want to explore Europe together, make unforgettable memories and have an adventure we’ll talk about for years.

We plan to use trains to visit some of the fantastic Christmas markets. The Interrail experience I’m most looking forward to is having the flexibility, to adjust where we’re going. To watch the winter scenery go by and maybe even travel on an overnight train which is not an option where we live.

I plan to visit Norway, Sweden and Denmark with my boyfriend who I’ve met on Erasmus+ exchange. We’re from different countries so it could be also an occasion to meet up and explore countries we haven’t been together in. I’d like to experience the Danish hygge and the Swedish fika with him! I only visited the capital cities of these three countries but I genuinely think there’s so much more to experience than those and would love to have this opportunity.

I hope I manage to do a trip from Switzerland all the way down to Kars in eastern Turkey next winter.

As a passionate driver who loves the feeling of independence, I’m looking forward to our first Interrail adventure with great excitement.

With the vision of exploring southern Italy, I want to let go of control and experience whatever comes up spontaneously along the way – whether there or elsewhere – with as much openness and willingness as possible.

Well, we were unlucky with UEFA competition draws, with away matches in Türkiye and Cyprus, so my next trip will be to Thun in Switzerland. By coincidence this is close to Kandersteg where I began my plan to do as much travelling in Europe after I turned 40.

As I can’t take too much time off work, it’s going to be a five train all day voyage out and back but having done the outward legs to Paris and beyond several times, I feel like an old hand and sometimes advise my friends at work.

I can’t wait for some of that beautiful scenery and clear mountain air (and a win would be nice as well!)

Who knows, maybe a further match in Europe if we’re lucky 🤞🤞

I’d love to travel through the Balkans with my girlfriend. I’ve already been to Montenegro once and honestly, what stayed with me the most were the people I met there. Everyone was so welcoming and I’d love to experience more of that in other places across the Balkans.

I think some of the best moments would probably happen between the actual destinations – on trains, at small stations, during long journeys or just randomly talking to people we meet along the way. My girlfriend loves getting to know new people and cultures just as much as I do, so I couldn’t imagine a better person to share this trip with.

And I already have one important mission: sending my mum a trashy postcard from every city we visit, because her fridge still has way too much empty space.

I’d be incredibly happy to win the passes and have the chance to make all these memories together.

Sleeper from Milan? That was a glorious trip for me last year. Do try to take it to Sicily for the roll on/ roll off ferry - might not be running in a few years time if they get their bridge built.

Three years ago, my two friends and I started planning a special trip through Europe to celebrate turning 50 together. Life had other plans—health challenges, work, family and everything in between kept postponing our adventure.

Now, we’re finally making it happen! ❤️ We want to make the most of what may truly be our once-in-a-lifetime journey together.

The Interrail experience we’re most looking forward to is the freedom of traveling through Europe by train—starting in Vienna, continuing to Zurich and Lucerne, experiencing the breathtaking Bernina Express through the Swiss Alps, then heading to Lake Como and Milan before making our way through Italy toward Tuscany and Florence.

For us, this trip isn’t just about the destinations. It’s about three longtime friends finally celebrating a milestone we’ve dreamed about for years, making memories together, and enjoying every beautiful stop along the way. 🚆🏔️🇦🇹🇨🇭🇮🇹❤️

At fifteen, I dreamt of taking Interrail across the English Channel to England and then all the way up to Scotland. It never happened. Now, past fifty, the trip goes south instead: first Naples, then on towards Sicily – where instead of a ferry across the Channel, the whole train rolls onto a ferry across the Strait of Messina. Different direction, different sea, but the kid I was back then would still be thrilled: it's finally happening.

You are right, we want to take this ferry! On the way to Sicily we wish to stop at Napoli. We take the day train so we can watch the landscape changing. :)

The Interrail experience I’m looking forward most to would be traveling to Europe for the first time with my best friend--hence why I entered this raffle. We’ve been planning this trip for years, and how great the feeling of anticipation is at the moment makes me wonder how we’ll both feel when we’re on the trip! When we’re on these trains together, doing what we’ve always dreamed. Traveling brings me inexplicable joy, and so does my bestie. I’m incredibly excited and grateful to know her and have the opportunity to do this! Given that we’re both in college and don’t exactly have the financial aptitude to do everything we’ve dreamed of, I do hope we win the raffle! Good luck everyone!!
