As of 9 September, European Sleeper added another international sleeper train to their growing network. Our colleague Silvia witnessed the opening ceremony and the departure of the train from Milano Porta Garibaldi.

This new service runs 3 times a week, stopping in Como, Lugano, Göschenen, Arth Goldau, Cologne and more. From 13 December 2026, it will also serve Eindhoven and Breda in the Netherlands.

Would you take this new connection to hike in Switzerland or to enjoy Italian cuisine?
