Solved

Hi,I bought the flexible-pass 4 days within a months for me and my girlfriend. And I have a question about validity of the pass. Could you clarify if the "month" refers to: 1. A period of approximately 30 days starting from the first day the pass is used (meaning I can use the 4 travel days within the following 30 days after activation).2. A specific calendar month, where I can only use the 4 travel days within that same month. For example, if I start using the pass on December 20, does that mean I can only use the remaining travel days within December, or does it count as a 30-day period starting from December 20 (in this example until January 20)? I’d greatly appreciate it if someone could clarify how this works. Thanks in advance!

I’ll be in Europe for 3 months, and have pretty much lined up the trains I’ll be using in France and Italy.  They show up in my Rail Planner. My QUESTION is: Can I obtain a printable list in the order of all the trains (including transfers) that I plan to take?  Thanks. I’ve researched this community forum, and I do not find anything related to this question. Mel

Hi,I'm traveling to Italy soon and i can't seem to find a few trains in the Rail Planner app. I've read that Trenitalia TPER doesn't share the timetables for their trains, how do one find out if it is one? Finding this out right after timetable change can also be difficult, as one doesn't have any data to compare times with. So, why aren't some trains showing up in the Rail Planner app?

Just bought x 2 global passes for the honeymoon next year, the 10 days within 2 months passes. Will be traveling from Doncaster in the UK to London for the Eurostar to Paris for 2 nights as doing Versailles.  Then we are off to Italy to spend the remaining 18 nights or so down and then up the boot. Would like to possibly get across to Sardinia and Sicily (depending on cost of ferry etc) Any hints and tips and recommendations to go in Italy would be recommended. We are in our late 40s not clubbing folk, do like a nice lively bar though and love to walk and see 'stuff' also love the countryside as much as a city.  I'm guessing I won't be able to book rail now for June next year, from your experience everyone, when do routes become available please? And thank you in advance.  Bazza.

Sorry, but it's complicated, I'm going to write a newspaper. On November 20th I bought 2 Global Passes - 1 month successively in first class. On November 26th I still hadn't received the passes, but I received an advertisement from Interrail"Save 25% on all Global Passes until December 17th and embark on an adventure that will leave a lasting impression."I immediately sent an email asking because no one told me there would be a 25% discount offer!!!! and that I wanted the amount I had paid in excess of 400€ refunded.I was told that it wouldn't be possible, but that I could return them when I received the passes and my money would be refunded immediately (1610€) and I could buy two new passes with the discounted amounts. And that's what I did, I bought 2 new passes even though I hadn't received the others.2 days later I received the passes with the old values, this was on 28/11/24, I just changed the recipient and sent it back via DHL, even though there was a printout on the envelope that

Hi my dear fellow interrailers,I might have a kind of basic question, but as many others I don’t find my exact answer in the forum, so I’ll ask here: Last summer I bought a global flexi pass (5 days wihtin 1 month) and it says Activate by june 18th 2025. So that means I have to travel until the july 18th 2025, right? Because my plans have changed several times and I can’t travel until end of july.If that’s not possible with my current pass, can I exchange it, or do I have to cancel it and buy a new one? Thanks so much for your time! Have a great sundayNadia

Can anyone tell me please the stops on the Madrid – Albacete – Alicante route?

I having the same issue as others on this forum… but see the solution to fix it on my own

Dear Interrail Community,  I’m reaching out for help regarding an issue with my Interrail Pass. It appears to have been linked to the wrong email address, which I no longer have access to.  I urgently need to have the pass sent to my current email address so I can use it for an upcoming trip. If anyone knows how to resolve this quickly or has experienced a similar situation, I’d be very grateful for your guidance.  Thank you so much for your support!  Best regards,  Luc

Hey guys,I’m planning an Interrail travel next year in summer partly going to Marseille and I would like to go to Genova from there since I have seen a train connection in the Interrail map. I can see that the connection Marseille still exists from the SNCF and Trenitalia sites but the connection doesn’t show up in the App. Is this route not included in the Interrail Ticket? Do you have any idea why it is this way? GreetingsFabian

Hello community & thanks in advance for your insight. We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 & 6) planning our summer holiday. Our itinerary is as follows:Arrive Amsterdam, stay 4 daysTrain from Amsterdam to Basel (OBB Nightjet)Basel to Jungfrau region (Wengen), stay 5 days & explore regionWengen/Lauterbrunnen → Interlaken → Basel → StrasbourgStrasbourg stay 3 daysStrasbourg → Paris CDG AirportWe are planning to purchase a Amsterdam City Card for transit/sightseeing in that city.We are looking for advice regarding purchasing a 4 Day Global Pass strictly for our destination-to-destination travel + Swiss Travel Card for our intra-Switzerland travel, or a 10 Day Global Pass to cover all of our train/tram/bus travel on the journey. Which of these would be the better option, given our itinerary?NB we are aware that the Global Pass will not cover seat reservations, which we will need for our Nightjet & TGV journeys. If there are other trains on our itinerary whic

I’m after advice/information on a SNCF Connect option that I can see on their website.Their website only shows timetables within the next 30 days & I’m being very premature in looking for choices for a planned trip on 23 April 2025!However, one of the options on the Lyon Part-Dieu - Gare Routiere to Annecy is an “AUTOCAR - Car REGIONAURA 33625”.Is this a bus? The timetable makes this a good option for us.Does anyone have any advice/opinion on whether this is a feasible option?I have a 1st class Global 15 day 2 month Eurail pass. Can this Pass be used on this trip? Thanks

Hello, my husband and I will be traveling from Munich to Paris, and when trying to make a seat reservation through the rail planner app it guides me to make a seat reservation via the the SNCB website https://travel.b-europe.com/eurail-ge/en/booking#TravelWish, once I fill all the information in it asks for my pass cover number, I can't seem to find that number anywhere. I found this website https://www.eurail.com/en/book-reservations#/generatePassCoverNumber that can generate a pass cover number but I don't know how or where to find my mobile pass number. I looked through the confirmation email when I purchased the passes but it's not showing a “mobile” pass number that is 6 characters long and can contain numbers and letters.  The numbers I see within the confirmation email include: Order Number, & Pass Number, mind you it’s not stating its a “mobile” pass number. Within the Rail Planner app, I can view the pass reference (which is the same as the pass number on the confirmation

Hello, my family and I are arriving in the UK from the US on January 11. We have the dream of traveling Europe by train. We would like to see as much of the highlights as possible . I’m looking for recommendations as to the best train route to take.

Danke  Peter

We are making plans to go to Italy by train, from the Netherlands through Germany and Switzerland. We are trying to figure out whether it is cheaper with an EUrail pass or with regular tickets. I find this difficult for my 13 year old child. On the DB site is says: Children aged 6-14 travel free when accompanied by someone aged 15 or over. However, they must be specified at the time of booking.Does anyone know if an adult travelling with an EUrail pass can take a 13 year child without an EU rail pass on the train in Germany for free?

do i need to reserve seat for a 4 year old child?

Hey Guys, I'm 18 and this summer I want to do my first interrail with a travel buddy. I need help with planning as I bought a 15 days global pass to go and come back to ItalyThe city from where I am starting is Palermo which I'm going back before the end of the pass. The route would be Palermo-Zurich-Wien. Then I will be stopping at Bratislava to go to Prague (Bratislava-Prague) and Krakow (Bratislava- Krakow). After that I am going from Bratislava to Budapest, and Budapest-Bucarest-Istanbul-SofiaNow here comes the problem. From Sofia I wanted to take a shortcut from Sofia to Belgrade but I can't find anything to go to it. Also because I wanted to go to Zagreb and Ljubljana before going back to Palermo. I need y'all guys help you figure this out and also to see if any of you have tips or did this before

France and Spain - How to travel on trains with minimum or no extra fee ( France : TER, Intercitie, regional, etc. Spain : Largo Recorrido, Regional, Cercanias, ( Talgo ? )) in other words, NOT on TGV or AVE high speed, so as to avoid extra costs : do some need a seat reservation ? Can this be done in advance / or at stations ? I'm asking for advice from experienced Interail travellers about how to keep any seat reservation costs to a minimum or travel free on slower services...Is it better to book through national rail providers websites ( SNCF / RENFE ) rather than on the Interail site or links, to avoid extra admin costs, etc. ? or does it seem that we are directed to tickets with extra costs - or is it a case of being flexible and travelling more slowly on regional trains in order to be able to use Interrail Global Pass with the least costs or none, to improvise if referred on a daily basis - though you might find Interail quotas not available and be forced to pay extra to travel..

Hello. My wife and I are planning a trip to Europe in September 2025. We will visit France, Switzerland and Italy over a period of 3 weeks. Our major means of transportation is intended to be the Eurail Pass, but we will be spending some time in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, and would appreciate some advice on the best options for travel there. Our current plan is to buy a 7 non-consecutive day pass and also a 3 or 4 day Jungfrau pass. We would use the Eurail pass to travel from Paris to Colmar, Colmar to Lucerne, Lucerne to the Jungfrau region (Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald probably), and then stay 4 nights there. We understand that the Eurail pass would be strictly limited in the Jungfrau region, so we would purchase a 3 or 4 day Jungfrau pass to get around between Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, etc, while we were there. We would then use out Eurail pass to take us out of Switzerland and on to Italy, where we would spend the remainder of our vacation. I’ve done some

Alguien en español que me enseñe a utilizar la APP? Estaría dispuesto a compensar $$$. :)  Porque no entiendo los videos de Eurail son muy malos y su app es peor :/ Ayuda :)

I use to travel with paperpass and prefere that. But due to the discount right now, and I don't yet now my travel date, I consider trying the mobile pass. But are there still problems when using the app, or are most of the problems people experienced solved? I am not super keen to rely on technology, if it is not working properly or difficult to use.

I am currently staying in Brenta in Milan, Italy, and want to go to barberini, Rome, Italy what would I pick to book my ticket?

What ferry routes are available between Italy and Croatia with a Interrail pass? I can’t find information on them anywhere
