Solved

Hi I need HELP! I’m last-minute (I had a rough itinerary before but reality is setting in...) planning my travel pass to travel from Lisbon (more specifically, I’m in Alcabideche right now) to Bruges, leaving tomorrow Nov 19th and arriving *ideally* late-night Nov 20th. I have 2 days left on my Eurail Global Pass that I want to use, but this route seems so complicated with its many options/side-routes, expensive seat reservations, and lack of night train (my preference/ideal) options with my timeline. It seems it may be better to bus into France, which I am willing to do if it is inexpensive, but ideally I’d use my remaining 2 travel days with minimal additional expenses on seat reservations and overnight accommodation. Has anyone done this route or a similar one (Portugal to Belgium) with success recently??? Should I just take the L and take a bus somewhere into France and then train to Bruges from there?! I will accept any and all suggestions, thank you!!

Now I added GB pass (1st class) in my mobile app and set activate with the starting day. But after that, how to show my pass (QR code)?some trains shown Seat reservations optional! , is it no need to make any booking?Conversely, Seat reservations required, is it cannot get in the train even I have GB pass? Thanks ^.^

I have a global pass. How do I update it after a journey? Or it gets upadated automatically on the system?

Hello,I take a night train from Rome (17:25 pm) to Vienna (arrives around 9 am)and then transfer from Vienna to Prague and I do change two trains. Do I need to active my 2nd day or does it count as one? Thank you

Hola. Muchas gracias.Laura

Hello, my mother 75 years old will travel with my two daughters (9 and 11) with interrail global pass. Can she use an adult pass to be able to buy the two free kids passes? Otherwise, with the senior pass there are no option for adding a kid’s pass. Thank you

Ho there, just wondering if once I have my pass I will find out that actually there are very few trains I can choose among, unless I pay some extra money to go where I’m planning to go. thanks

Hi all, I am beginner of Eurail Global Pass,Now i just worry about that if I cannot reach the time to join the reservation train. How can I do, join the next train? or refund first then order the next target train? Due to the missing the train, then some trains are follow the schedule will also affected, in this case, how should I do? Some route is shown diffence location and said transfer by transport, such as 13:12 MILANO P.GARIBALDI (Italy)  0h 20m Transfer by public transport 13:43 MILANO CENTRALE (Italy) So this case I need to get off from one side then move to other location to take other train? Some route is shown Change trains Short transfer 4min. Normally, is it should enough time to take the next?Thank you very much.Mr. Lo

Hello Friends,I am from India and planning to explore few European cities between April 26 and May 13 with my husband and son (17 years next year).Drafted the below plan: Arrive from Chennai to Germany (thinking of either Frankfurt or Munich - which is the best place in Germany?).  Spend 3 nights with one day local sightseeing and a day trip to Heidelberg or another one. From Germany (either Munich or Frankfurt) - travel to Amsterdam.  Spend 4 nights with one day local sightseeing, one day trip to Keukenhof Gardens (might explore local tram/train if that is cheaper), and another to Zaanse Schans (might book with GetYourGuide) From Amsterdam to Paris.  Spend 4 nights with 2 day local sightseeing and a day trip to Versailles Palace (local train is cheaper). Paris to Lucerne. Spend the remaining nights in Lucerne and to visit Interlaken, Mt Pilatus, Mt. Titlis, and jungfraujoch (if not restricted during shoulder season). Can you please advise if buying individual train tickets is cheaper

Hi, I’m considering the Interrail Global Pass (5 days) and trying to figure out if it suits my needs. I’m planning to travel with my dog from Gothenburg to Milan in 2 days, and then return to Gothenburg in 3 days. For now, let’s focus on the outbound journey:Day 1: Gothenburg - Copenhagen and Copenhagen - HamburgDay 2: Hamburg - Zurich and Zurich - MilanAfter purchasing the Global Pass, are the only additional costs the seat reservations and the dog ticket where required, or should I expect extra fees? I’ve already ruled out night trains for this reason.Additionally, do I need to book all tickets through the app? I noticed that some operators, like SJ, allow adding the Interrail Pass on their website as a 100% discount card, while others, like DB or DSB, don’t include Interrail as an option when purchasing the ticket. Thank you!

Hello fellow travelers, I’m having a bit of trouble setting my trip from Innsbruck(Austria) to Chur(Switzerland). It does show routes whenever I look into Rail europe or Omio, but I’m not sure about connection times, they all seem to be pretty short to me.Three to nine minutes so you know. I fear I won’t make it in between connections. Apparently I don’t have to make any seat reservations for this route. Has anyone ever made this trip and have any tips or advices on how to make this route?

I have seat reservations booked on Eurostar and I have the tickets in my apple wallet, and I’ve printed them!  But they are not showing in my Eurail account. Last time I travelled this way they did. Do I need to sync something?! Thanks

Is it possible to travel from - London (5 Nights) - to Paris (3 Nights) - Zurich (2 Nights) - Munich (4 Nights) - Rome (5 Nights) - Amsterdam (4 Nights) and back to London (3 Nights)?Which route should I follow to visit the above cities? Thanks

Hi, is it okay to purchase two global passes(mobile pass) on my account? One is for me, and one is for my companion of the trip. Is everything okay with what I am planning? Or do we have to purchase each of our pass on our own?

Hello,I am a first-time user of Eurail and I would like to know which pass would be appropriate for a round-trip day trip between Basel and Paris. I wasn’t sure if that would require the Global Pass because each end point is in a different country.Thank you.

I am with a group of 5 Adults from USA …. 4 seniors and adult 34 yrs that is disabled. Our global passes are first class.  We fly to Zurich Sep 30 travel by train to Colmar, FR for 3 nights … then to Interlaken, SW for 2 nights … then to Zermatt, SW for 2 nights … then finally travel to Tuscany/Florence for 9 nights. We all have the Flex Global Pass for 5 days in month. The main question I have is … do we put all 5 global passes on one device or separate devices? Is there a website you recommend to book seat reservations or using the Eurail website and pay the additional 2 euro admin fee? Since we are a group of 5 is it difficult to get all 5 of us sitting close to each other?Thank youDave

Hello.  Does anyone know if there is a luggage storage system at the Füssen train station?  Thank you very much.

I am planning on travelling for 1 month, then staying in one place for a month, then travelling for another 2 months. Can you pre-load two passes onto the App then activate each one when you need it?

Hello,Planning my trip to France, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland for September 2025 and trying to figure out costs for Switzerland.I’m looking to find which cablecars/gondolas are covered using the Eurail Global Pass for the Bernese-Oberland area including Grindelwald and surrounding areas like Kanderstegg to get to Oeschinensee Lake. I know there is a coverage map for trains, but wasn’t sure if there was one for cablecars/gondolas and/or a site that lists the cost of these as well. Any help is so greatly appreciated!!

Hi,I'm researching some of the seat reservation sites in preparation for an interrail trip next year. So the following journey is just a test and not urgent.I'm using the RailEurope website. When I enter a query for Paris Est to Karlsruhe Hbf 13th Nov start time 10:30 with interrail pass, the 13.51 train (TGV 9575) has 'Seat reservation has to be done at station' which is obviously bad news if I'm trying to plan from the UK.When I enter the same query BUT start time 7:30, the same 13.51 train (TGV 9575) now has 'Seat reservation is required' and available online (€18). Hurray!!Any idea what's going on?Is it a bug on the website or something I’m doing wrong? Also why would it say 'Seat reservation has to be done at station' in the first place.

Hi,This will be my first time using the Eurail pass on the app. I need to book and reserve our seats from Zurich to Paris, mid December, however, will get a new phone the week before we depart and am therefore very hesitant to activate or link the pass for our family as I read that you can only transfer the pass once to another phone (if I am correct?).Can I book and reserve on the website?.I would greatly appreciate advice on what I need to do first, is there perhaps a step by step guide? Many thanks for the advice and assistance.
