Solved

HiI bought the "eurail global pass" for days. My first trip from London to Paris on December 14th. I paid for the seat reservation for my family. I can't book the train from Vienna to Venice through the app. When I tried to pay directly on the page only for the seats, they weren't available. The truth is that it has been complicated for me to use the app to book (the trips I need don't appear) and then go to an external page to pay for the seats. If I cancel the eurail global pass, do I lose the tickets that were sent to me by email for the trip from London to Paris that I already have ready? Thank you very much. Greetings from Chile

We want to take an interrail trip in the summer but we don't know whether to take a route through the Balkans or take the Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest and Split route. Could you help us?

Hello everyone,we would like to book a reservation for the night train from Milano to Palermo for the end of December (27.12.).Unfortunately, Trenitalia and Interrail only offers reservations for daytime connections. Does anyone know when it will be possible to book/see the night train or whether it will no longer be available?

Hello, I am planning to do my 2nd Interrail trip during December for my birthday and I am looking for train connections from Salzburg to Chur on December 15th on Interrail app but it is not showing anything. Although, when I checked the OBB website, I get to see the train timetable.Do I need to wait a little longer for the update of new train timetable on the Interrail app or just do a manual train entry connection on the app for my trip planner? Thank you

Hello beautiful people! I’m planning a Eurotrip for my 30th birthday in February/March 2025 and I’d like your advice on how to get from city to city using the Eurail Pass. Whenever possible, I would prefer to travel by night to save money/lower the cost of my trip. Here’s my itinerary so far:Barcelona (3-4 days) Marseille (2-3 days) Milan (2-3 days) **or should I go to Venice instead? Vienna (3-4 days) Prague (2-3 days) **open to skipping this one/substituting with another destination Berlin (3-4 days) Amsterdam (3-4 days)Thanks in advance and looking forward to reading your comments! 🙂 Izzie

hello~!before using the pass…..if the train is delayed at transfer station and I end up boarding after midnight then what is the number of global pass usage?and.....if the train does not arrive on time so I missed the train to transfer at the next station. then  what am I supposed to do?

Hi everyone! Its my first time here.Im planning my trip over christmas to Ireland. I was thinking of purchasing the 6 days w/month for one country pass. So, from sweden to Dublin. The planner says it takes 2 days. And saving another 2 days for the return.I also want to travel to different counties withing Ireland (7 counties/cities to be exact)How would you recommend doing this? Is it even possible to cover all this with a 6 day pass? But a global pass seems unnecessary for just one country? Another question. I wanted to travel using the pass from Dublin to Galway. I used the app, to lay out the plan and there are no given routes. No busses or trains going there. How could that be, when on the website its one of the destinations given? Has anyone traveled to Ireland from scandinavia? If so, what route do you recommend? Thank you much :)

Hello! First time poster here. My partner and I are planing a train adventure next May and I was wondering if people knew if the intercity notte 765 night train between Milan and Bari runs in May or is it seasonal? We are looking to connect with the ferry to Patras in Greece. Any advice booking tickets e.g. when they will be available, the best days to travel and alternate routes is always welcome!  Thanks! Doug

Hello,My partner and I have planned our trip via interrail for next week and we have therefore been able to make our reservations for our journeys which include trains with seats and others without. We received the tickets for the trains with seats. However, we expected to receive a ticket for the trains without, which we did not. Is this normal, please, or have we missed something? For example, we have a planned journey from Paris to Amsterdam with a stopover in Brussels, for which we received a Paris - Brussels ticket, but not a Brussels - Amsterdam ticket. Thank you in advance and have a nice day. PS : Sorry for my english

Hello,My wife and I are coming to Zurich on January 17th 2025 and our return will be from Bergamo on January 20th. The main purpose of the trip is this; to take the Bernina Express. İf possible, I want to see the glacier express route. My plan is to go to as many places as I can by train with short breaks. We want to spend the rest of our time on an Alpine trip as much as possible, it doesn't matter on the Swiss or Italian side.  I would like to get your suggestions about train travel, tickets and places to visit and stay. There are so many people in this community who want to help and that's gratifying.

On final day of my next trip, planning to get from Frankfurt via Brussels-Eurostar to St Pancras (dep 08.16 - arr 13.57). All fine and dandy. Then have to head north. It occurs to me The Caledonian Express leaves Euston at 23.45 and I can get home via Edinburgh under own steam. If I get the McSleeper at that time, does that count as same travel day or does the time difference given day starts in Frankfurt mess things up. And is it still good as an “inbound journey” for getting back home? It wouldn’t be past the validity of the pass and not its final travel day either.

hi how can i confirm my seat on the interrail with my train ticket

Hello everyone,I've been having the following problem all day: When I want to make a seat reservation for Spain, I get an error message shortly before completing the booking, even though seats are available. It reads: “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart”If I want to make a reservation for France, for example, I do not receive this error message. I have already tried different browsers, deleting cookies etc.Can someone check if the same problem is occurring so that I know if the problem is mine or if there is a general technical problem? Many thanks and best regardsMarcel

Hi!We want to go along the northern spanish coast. A few questions: 1.) For the feve railways: Which part is the most scienic? As the trains are really slow, we would only go where it is much more nice than the normal renfe railway…2.) I have seen, there are some Renfe trains in the rail planner app called TRN where are reservation is said to be needed. When I click on the details, there is only a 6€ fee for second class. We have Interrail first class. So is there no fee for us or is there no first class? Could it be, a only second class train where a reservation is needed?3.) Anyone of you went on the Spanish northern coast from Hendaye to northern Portugal? Which combination of trains seems to be especially good? I remember that some renfe trains offered free food for first class passengers and that there was also a scientic mountain route which is now replaced by a high speed tunnel…

Hi, I’m trying to book seats for a few different routes within Europe for December. I am not finding the schedule on Eurail beyond the 15th Dec., So I went onto the actual Train Operators sight to book the seats. They allow you to book seats only, but the cost is ridiculously high considering I have a first-class pass. Question 1) Can I book seats on the actual train operators’ website?Question 2) Can you do this (q1) using your passQuestion 3) Can you add these bookings to the eurail app? Or do you have an alternative recommendation, we are a group of 9, so don’t want to miss out on train reservations. Thanks in advance,
