Solved

Hello, We want to take Bosphorus Express (Bucuresti —> Istanbul) just after the night train from Budapest to Bucuresti but, if someone already did that, we have some questions : We have 3hours for the connexion, do you think this is possible ? (Or does the train from Budapest to Bucuresti is often delayed?)  Do you think we can book our tickets the day for the day for the Bosphorus express? (We are in the middle of august we are afraid it will be full). We ask the company CFR and it is not possible to book it online or by phone/email with interrail passes. Thank you for your help !! :) Mélanie

Hello, I am looking for direct high speed train from Venice Mestre to Milan on Aug 4th around 5pm but I am not seeing any. I see one stop train which means I have to pay for each leg using global pass. Should I wait or this is all the trains available? Thanks Karthick

Hello, My friends and I each bought a 5 day pass under the same account. I am trying to apply that pass to tickets, but I am running into the same 3 problems. When I used the trip planner it said I needed no more than 5 travel days, now after buying the pass it says that my 5 days are not enough.  I cannot find trains that are on the website on the app I’m unsure if when I add journeys to my trip via the app and apply a travel day to them if that means that I have a seat on that train. For reference we are trying to travel from Amsterdam to Prague, Prague to Vienna, Vienna too Venice, Venice to Paris. I have read that it might be easier to book this directly through train companies and apply my eurail pass at checkout, but I’m unsure of what train companies to be looking for.  Thank you in advance! :)

When is the best time of day to travel? For example for a 4-7 hour train journey, would it be better to do this is the morning or afternoon/evening?

I am considering getting the 7 day travel pass and then just paying for one of my trains normally. Will it be cheaper to do this for my Paris to Brussels train or Ljubliana to Zagreb?

HelloI would like to book two journeys with two global interrail passes from Bologna Centrale to Paris on August 30, 2024. Here are the details departure bologna centrale 9.36 amarrival paris gare de lyon 7.38 pm The route is already displayed on the rail planner application. However, I don't know where to make my reservation. Do I have to take each trip separately (there are two connections in Milan and Zurich) and if so, on which websites should I book? Thanks in advance.

Hi,Maybe someone can help with this: I want to buy couchette reservations for the night train from Budapest to Split on July 9th. In the Interrail-App it says that this is not possible there. When visiting the MÁV website, it shows the train and I could book a whole ticket, but I don't find an option to buy JUST the reservation to the price mentioned on the interrail website (https://www.interrail.eu/en/book-reservations/reservation-fees/night-train-reservation-fees)Does anyone know how to do this?

Hello everyone! It's the first time for me here. I'd like to plan a interrail trip with a friend of mine and we're interested in destinations renowned for their nightlife and for events in general. We're probably going to start our journey from the city of Torino in northern Italy and we had in mind to buy the 5 days global pass. I think Spain could be the ideal destination, or maybe the Balkans, but I can't really decide. Moreover, any plan that would allow us to visit as many different places (and countries) as possible would be a big plus for me. We'd enjoy also to visit famous cities and museums, but our main goal is to have fun and meet new people. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.  Thank you!

Hey, i was trying to get a night train from Prague to Budapest, specially the Euronight 477/ Intercity 577 Metropol, but it doesn’t appear in the rail planner app, however, i can find it con de oficial cd page. I do not understand why it happens. Should I add manually the trip on the rain planner app, and get the seat reservation in the cd website? (i copied an older thread, since the solution there didnt work for me)I want to get the train from 18th of july at 22.03 leaving from Prague. However, i dont see it in the railplanner app. Whatever filters i use, it doesnt work :/. i can buy the reservation just fine on the CD site.

I’m travelling with my husband this summer on our first interail trip. We travel from London to Paris (5 nights in Paris for the Olympics), then train to Grenoble where we first met (2 nights), then train to Zermatt (1 night), then Glacier Express to St Moritz (booked). We have a 7 day pass and are not sure where to go next from St Moritz. Ideally we’d like a few days of relaxation somewhere, Any ideas please?

I’ve got a Eurrail pass and I’ll be heading south from Lithuania and I’m not entirely clear how close I can get to it.

We are two seniors and are flying from Malaga to Barcelona to begin our train travel to Narbonne, France, Toulouse, Donostia San Sebastian, Spain, Bilbao, Gijon, and ending in Porto, Portugal.Does it make sense to purchase a Global Pass vs separate bookings? Do I also need to make reservations for all of these?

Hi,I’m booking a trip to Cinque Terre for the 18th of June, and i know there are some nightjet connections from Germany to Italy are under construction from June until september, but when looking at nightjet tickets for NJ 40295 Munchen to La Spezia it says i can book it but the website also says “please note that travel times can still change”.Does anyone have an accurate source as to wether or not that specific line is also closed for the summer? Or what would happen if i book and it turns out that it won’t be going, will I be eligible for a refund? Thanks in advance!

Bonjour, je souhaitais savoir s’il était possible d’acheter un pass directement au guichet de sa gare, pour éviter l’attente de délai de livraison. Sinon, quelles sont les délais de livraison d’un pass? Hello, I wanted to know if it was possible to buy a pass directly at the ticket office of your station, to avoid waiting for delivery times.  If not, what are the delivery times for a pass?

I am from India and new to Global pass for Europe. Global pass should be valid for internal travel as well. Most of the travel in Italy does not shows valid for global pass. Does this means Global pass is only for internal to Europe and for metropolitan station travel only

Je ne parviens pas à réserver le billet Pragues/Budapest que ce soit sur Deutshe Banh ou sur la compagnie ferroviaire tchèque. Je ne trouve pas comment appliquer le global pass. Help! Merci

Hi, help requested!I am fairly new to Interrail. Our first journey is from Santander (coming in on ferry from Plymouth UK)  to Bilbao .. but when I enter this journey on Eurail it comes up with ridiculously long journeys of 11 or 23 hours. Anyone know what’s going on? It’s only 46 miles! Hmm? Advice about making reservations in Spain gratefully received. Many thanks :)

I want to book Stockholm to Narvik with N94 on the 8th of August.Thin week the message for releasing the summer trains at 14:40But 2 hours later the trains were displayed with sold out.The direction with N92 and N96 is also not displayed.  Will there come  free places, or is this train really sold out. And…How could I book it over the interrail tickets?

Hello,I'm contacting you because I'd like to book two journeys from Bologna Centrale to Paris, with two global interrail passes.

Has there been any updates on transport options from Milan to Switzerland for June & July?  I need to get to Lausanne and then Dijon on the 2nd July 2024. Any suggestions would be appreciated?
