Solved

Hiii, Me and my friend, both 18 years old, are planning to do our first trip together this summer. We want to go in september for two weeks and since we are students we´re on a low budget so we´re thinking of going to east Europe. Maybe Vienna, Budapest, etc. We would be leaving from antwerp. If anyone has any tips or destination ideas, please let us know because we are looking forward to a new adventure but a little inexperienced. :)

Booking from Bucharest to Budapest for June. Reservation gets added to my cart but then I get the error message ‘Technical issues: some trains can't be booked with us right now. See other ways to book here. Please check again shortly!’ Is this a bug or a feature? I can book direct via the Romanian operator so there is space available. Any ideas if this is an issue with the interface with the Romanian operator that might be sorted shortly or do i book direct?

I have trips planned on my mobile app. There are fees due. How do I pay for the fees?

Good afternoon, we are a couple with a 9 year old girl, we have always been on the road but this time we would like to do the interrailThe itinerary is from Turin (Italy) where we live, we would like to get a 5 day pass1- Turin -> Milan-> Wien OBB night train2- Wien  -> Prague3- Prague → Berlin4- Berlin->Ringscheim/europa park5- Ringscheim/europa park -> Milan-> Turin1st question: unfortunately the rail planner app didn't show me the night train  available before, but then today I checked on OBB and following your tutorial I tried to make a reservation for the three-bed sleeper on the Milan-Vienna train of 10 August or of August 11th the figure is around €289, is this correct with Interrail? Or am I paying full fare?2nd question: we would like to spend the last two days at Europa park on the park's website it says that a Frankfurt Milan ECE151 train which stops at Ringscheim/europa park and connects the park to Milan in 6 hours would obviously be convenient for me, bu

Hello everyone ;)This is my first message here ;)I'm surprised at how attractive your services are in terms of price. Sincerely ;) I'll keep it simple (we could go into more detail) I plan to make 4-5 X round trips between a city in my country, Switzerland, and another city in Hungary over 2 months. That is : Moutier (CH) -> Bük(HU)  then Bük(HU)  ->Moutier (CH) (back)I know there's a 10-trip/2-month pass available. Is this the right solution?I have other questions, but this one is crucial before going any further. I apologize for my lack of understanding. 🙄 Papi1957Merci ;)

need help to book a sleeper train for Oct 24 from Prague to Zürich : I would have the Eurail Global pass for 2 seniors with 1st class

Hello everyone, I am receiving a warning that I need to add some locations manually in the Rail Planner application for the mobile pass. Not being able to see the train services in the application worries me. Could you please share your experiences with me about this issue and traveling to the Baltic countries. Thank you in advance, I wish you a pleasant trip.

Hello,  Last year I could easily reserve a seat for trains in Poland via the Interrail website. Now I can't do anything at all. does anyone have any tips?

Hey:)I've just bought a relatively large (60+10 liters) backpack for traveling. When I got home, I noticed that I can only get into the large compartment from the top. And I can't open it at the front like a travel bag. What do you think? I've never traveled with a backpack before? Is that a disadvantage? Should I exchange it?

From Zurich, What is the cheapest way to go to lucern and mt titli for tomorrow w/o Global Pass? I have one day left in my Global Pass but I am saving that for going back to Paris from where my flight to home is. Google maps is showing to take IR70 from Zurich Hb to Lucerne. And then IR from Lucerne to Engelberg. Would it be better / cheaper to rent a car for the day?

Hi,I am traveling to Germany and Switzerland. I am going to Dusseldorf to Cologne, Freiburg, Poschiavo, Tirano and Zurich. I am planning to get a Global Pass 1st class. Is it worth getting 1st class and is it worth purchasing the plus (refundable) for the pass? If I miss a connection while traveling can I get a different train to my destination as long as it is within the one travel day? I’m a bit nervous traveling on my own for the first time and not sure if I’ll make all the trains I need. Thank you!Y

Hi there, the last time I spent a long duration in Europe was over 25 years ago, and at that time I carried cash with me and credit cards. These days, I’m mostly cashless, but I would like to have some local currency with me on this trip – all countries will either take the British pound or the euro. I’ll primarily be using my credit card – I hope - on this trip as that is the easiest from my perspective. But does anybody have any recommendation on how much cash per day I should have just for incidentals? Assuming England, France, Italy, Croatia, and Greece will except a credit card, and I won’t need much cash on hand? Thank you in advance for any help

Hi, we will be missing our train today’s 10:06 Tirano to Chur Bernia express train. If we take a later train, would we be still able to see the same views?

HiI am new to the community. I am trying to reserve a seat from London to Glasgow. On Eurail reservation site it says you have to reserve a seat by paying 10 Aud but in the Rail Europe web site it says that a reservation is not required. Both trains are Avanti west coast and at the same time. Which site is correct? If a reservation is not required can we sit in any seat? Thank you

I want to get a train from Prague to Krakow. The trains departs Prague at 22:05 and arrives inn to Krakow at at 05:42. Will this use up more than 1 travel day? Thanks

Hi, my global pass trips is showing 5th travel day as today. Even though I did not have any travel today and nor did I had any activated trips. Now I don’t see an option to cancel/ remove it as my travel day. How do I resolve this?

HiI have 3 eurail passes (1 adult & 2 seniors) for France. This is my first time using a pass. I’ve read and watched the video https://www.eurail.com/en/eurail-passes/eurail-mobile-pass/getting-started  Upon landing at Paris CDG on May 11, will take the afternoon TGV from the airport train station:CDG TGV to Colmar (May 11) TGV 9874 16:52 to 18:41 (seat reservations bought) 10 min transfer in Strasbourg TER 96235 18:51 to 19:21 Strasbourg to Colmar  Question1: (trip entries in app)In the Rail Planner app, I have 3 journeys under “My Trip” for May 11TGV 9874 CDG TGV to Colmar 16:52 to 19:21 TER 96235 Strasbourg to Colmar 18:51 to 19:21 TER 32331 Strasbourg to Colmar 19:21 to 19:53#2: I think #2 is not necessary as it’s already included in #1. Is that right?#3: I’m concerned if we can’t make the 10 min transfer at Strasbourg and therefore added the next train which at 19:21.Will I be penalized for having duplicate or additional trips/journes for an activated travel day? Heyy!In augustus im going on my first solo trip. To Dresden, Prague, Vienna and Düsseldorf. Are there any apps that are good to have? Or places i should avoid or go to? Thankssss! :))

Hello everyone.I am planning to travel to Sweden with my friend on an Interrail ticket. Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to book seats in advance without first entering the journey in the Mobile Pass? The background to this is that we don't know whether we will be able to make the journey, we will only find out a few days beforehand. It would therefore make sense to enter the journey when we start our trip. If necessary, we can then postpone the trip.Thank you for help.GreetingsStefan

Hi,I need to book two sleeper compartments on the obb nightjet from Genoa to Munich on October 24th. I've been checking the nightjet website regularly to book as soon as they become available. I was able to book another nightjet connection for 29th September a while back, but the 30th September is the latest date available. I'm wondering if anyone has any info on when the bookings for October might become available or if the night train from Italy to Munich will be running normally in October?

Dear Community,i would love to travel more by train. I would like to  travel by train to France for a Qi Gong retreat. I found a connections from Hamburg to Mannheim to Lyon. I will only reach Lyon by 8pm and I am a bit worried with the usual delay / cancellation situation from DB if I will really reach 😅 I couldn’t find a good earlier connection. Or even a night connection. I have already purchased my EU rail pass and also reserved seats for the routes I will be travelling on through the EU rail website. I have downloaded the Rail planner app and added my travel pass on that. Is there a way I can link my e-tickets for the seat reservations with my pass? If not, what is the use of the app if I have to download and print out e-tickets to show to the ticket inspector?

Hey everybody, when traveling from Aachen (just a stones throw away from the border to Belgium) to Brussels and not using the outbound option,  can I enter the train in Aachen or do I need to cross the border and join the train in Welkenraedt or Liege? Is there any train to Brussels that stops in Aachen Sued Grenze?grateful for any information

I'm going to the EURO’s next summer. I travel from Brussels to German host cities. These are my travel movements: Brussels - Hamburg, Hamburg - Brussels, Brussels - Leipzig, Leipzig - Brussels, Brussels - Munich, Munich - Brussels. Can I use the German Rail Pass with these travel movements? Or do I need another Pass?

Sorry guys, tickets sold out right?
