I want to travel from Barcelona to Paris and vice versa in June 24, but there is no way to make seat reservations. I used to buy them on the train station in Barcelona, but it seems SNCF doesn’t sell their seat reservations for Interrail in Spain anymore(or any other country it seems, only on trainstations in France). I looked on the SNCF website but I cannot find a way to only make a seat reservations. How can I book my seats? Thanks!

Hi,  We’re looking to travel to Italy/ Sicily Oct 2025 for 2 weeks. Our children will be 10,7,4&2. I would like to do some main tourist bits but would love to explore local towns / beaches, mozzarella and pizza and local food for the kids!  Does anyone know where to fly to begin our adventures. Also recommend any local towns and all the above? 👆we are on a budget, we want to do it as cheap as we can but also the best experience for the kids!  love to read your replies! 🩷

Hello everyone, I know this is off topic.. but, I'm planning on visiting Egypt after my Europe trip, my question is, is it safe to travel in Egypt? and what are the things I should do and not? I would really appreciate your tips and advices. By the way, I'll be travelling solo. TIA!

I’ve been planning on going through Rail Europe to make seat reservations for my trains involving France. I’m going from London to Toulouse and Toulouse to Zurich. I did find someone saying that their tickets/reservations from Rail Europe weren’t showing up in the system at the train station, and I hadn’t come across people saying this was an issue till now. I know everyone’s experience is different, but I am doing this solo so I’m trying my best to avoid hiccups. Which, one primarily is going through the official train operators and avoiding third parties. Does Rail Europe have any risks that come with making reservations with them rather than an official train operator? If I can, should I just make the reservations through b-Europe (I’m fine with the extra cost)? Also, some of the seat reservations I'm getting are through OBB even though they're not the official train operator for that train (SBB, DB, Trenitalia, etc.), are there any risks with that or will I be okay since it's still

HI COMMUNITY, I am trying to book Prague to Zurich from 00:40 to 13:20 train with 2 lay overs. The website says I need seat reservations for the first 2 trains but it does not show/allow prices to reserve it for. How do I go about it? 2nd questions, for the 3rd train from SALZBURG HBF to ZUERICH HB it says tickets are recommended but not required with a price. Should I get these optional tickets?

Hi. What’s the best way to take the Bernia Express southbound? My route is Zurich/Bern to Milan. I guess I have to make stops at Chur and Tirano for this. I can leave Zurich anytime after 00:00 on May 1st and plan to be at Milan by 10-11AM. Any insights and tips on train times would be helpful.

Hi!I’m getting an error every time I reserve any ticket from Freiburg to Brussels on May 7th, tickets appear available in different options, I reserve my seats for both legs and when doing the payment it says it’s been a problem with the ticket and asks me to find another one. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? I had no problem with my other tickets. Thanks!

Hello, I reside in the Dominican Republic. I have a Eurail pass, for my wife and I. We want to travel during the month of July 2024 from Madrid to Barcelona, and from Barcelona to Paris. I must purchase both routes with Renfe. They tell me on the phone line that I must purchase them in person at the Station because I have the Eurail pass. Could you tell me if this information is correct? And, if so, how much would be the discount that Renfe would give me?

Hello everyone, can you travel on night trains with a ticket? I can't buy a ticket anywhere, it says unavailable

I want to buy Eurail tickets, but when I tried (practice run) to book seats for the Munich to Budapest train on August 26, it read “all booked up.” I tried every train on that date and with the same result - all booked up. I’ve read on travel forums that this is most likely not the case (that it is in fact not all booked up).  I can’t proceed with buying Eurail passes as long as this is leg of the trip is not available to us. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Is anyone aware of trains running from Ploče to Mostar? On zfbh.ba, I can see services starting in Bosnia, at Čapljina. But nothing extending to Ploče or Metkovic. Just a bus.I’ve seen reference that there might be weekend services running, but I can’t find any proof.

Hi, I want to reserve a ticket from LYON PART DIEU (France) to BRUXELLES-MIDI (Belgium) with SNCF Voyages for May 5th. It’s giving me the error “Prices unavailable”. You recommend usin RAilEurope websiote but my train doesn’t appear there, plus they seem to ask me for the money anyway. I have also checked the official SNCG page but they don’t allow me to reserve for Interrail, just buy tickets. How am I supposed to reserve?

Hi, I am planning our trip to Europe and need some guidance with booking times. I’ve purchased two Eurail passes and worked out, as best I can, the trips I need to make. Where there are many trains each day, I have chosen the one that is most likely to be suitable. What I am after is:a reality check – i.e. is there anything that’s obviously wrong or isn’t going to work Which trains do I need to book in advance, versus those I can reasonably leave till later Which ones should I link to my Eurail pass and which ones should I just pay separately. Any help would be appreciated13/4 Rome Accom to Roma Termini - main train station.13/4 Roma Termini - Firenze Santa Maria Novella 09:25 1h 36min High Speed Trains FR 9308 to Torino Porta Nuova 11:01 Firenze S.M.N. I have purchased a Eurail pass for me and a friend. We’re heading to Amsterdam on April 27 and visiting seven countries going by train. I’ve taken many trains in Europe including this year but I’ve always bought regular tickets. This is my first pass and I’m confused even after reading the entire website. 1.) I have created seven “trips” in Rail Planner. I’ve successfully made a few reservations but some of the trips that say reservations recommended I’ve tried numerous times to make and I get an error message. How do I know if these trains are available? And for trips with several legs I get messages that say some of the parts of the journey can’t be made. 2.) Second question: for trains where reservations aren’t necessary how does one know what car to get on and what seats may already be reserved by others before we sit down? 3.) Finally some of the legs have very short transfers like 7-9 minutes! Is it possible to make these connections? We’re in our sixties and not marathon runners

Hi there, I am travelling with my 15-year-old daughter on June 8th from Milan. I am trying to decide between staying in Salerno or Sorrento, and to save time will get the fast train from Milan to Salerno or Naples (transferring to local Sorrento train).  We will then base ourselves in one place to explore for 3 days. I know this is not near enough time, so would appreciate thoughts on the benefit of location and ease of getting around via public transport to places of interest - particularly Pompeii (we won’t do Vesuvius). We have a Eurail pass that we will use for the fast trains, but believe it won’t work for local trains. As a Mum and daughter travelling alone, I am keen to ensure the safest options, where we can maximise our time, without running around too much and not enjoying just being in this beautiful part of the world. Any recommendations for favourite, reasonably priced accommodation in Salerno (walkable to train) or Sorrento would be appreciated. I have found a wonderful A

I plan to travel from Baden Baden to Milan with and overnight stop in Brig. The reservation system has a message “No seats available for reservation” from the Brig to Milan section. Does this mean there are no seats available to reserve, or that a reservation cannot be made for that train?

I am planning on using 2 travel days in Switzerland and France, and then flying to Greece for the Greek Islands. Do I need to buy a Global Pass in order to also buy the Greek Islands Pass? If so, I assume the travel days do not double-count, is that correct?

we have several train trips booked with your app, but your app will not accept entries to reserve the seats. Please do not refer me to the seat reservations instructions again. It does not work.

Hi, I’m planning my trip to the UK right now and I’m a bit confused about the public transport. I found a list which lists all the different train companies I can use with Interrail but can I use these only on a travel day? (this is the list btw: Railway Companies | Interrail.eu) So for example if I’m in London for two nights, I’ll have one day (in the middle) which isn’t a travel day. Can I still use the public transport on this day or will I have to buy a ticket additional to the Interrail pass? (I have the global pass)It would be lovely if someone could help me with this :) Lots of greetings

Can i use the  Germany Rail pass for the train in Austria ( from Salzburg to Innsburg)?

I'm about to use my pass for the first time in 5 days. I've just read that you pick the train times you want and it instantly gives you qr code tickets to get on the trains. But I've seen that not all journeys on the app are accurate. So if you use a travel day and pay for a seat reservation on the app (I'm not 100% sure how that works yet) and you could turn up and there's no train. I haven't clicked on anything yet so I hope someone could help me figure this out.

Hi!  I am going to travel from Paris-Bruges-Amsterdam-Prague. I already made the mandatory reservations; one in Eurail website and other one in European Sleeper. Is there a way to add those reservations to my mobile pass? How will the tickets be validated? With the Mobile Pass or with the Reservation QR?Also should I validate the tickets before I jump on the trains to avoid fines? Also I see that the train from Bruges to Amsterdam requires a Supplement, but it says is Included for International Travel, so in theory I dont need to worry about it?

Sorry, I have a question, can I do it like this? I came from Wroclaw to Vienna but now I want to go from Vienna to Wroclaw, my country of residence is Poland

Hi Community,It would be very handy if I could share a planned travel day from the Rail Planner with my companion, so she can add it to her Trip without having to search for herself. This does not seem possible, only with total Trips - or am I wrong?Hope so,regards, Pieter
