Hello, I can’t understand why this flight is not in the planner? Which one should I choose to make? the conductor will check it

Hello all, Myself and my partner are looking to travel between the following: Rome - Isle of Giglio - Pisa - Lake Como - Zurich (and then whilst in Zurich: a day trip out to Lichtenstein and a day trip out to Bern). As you can imagine, these train prices will all quickly add up, as they are mostly hours long in duration. With this in mind, I thought an EU Rail pass might be a better option, however we are struggling to find where we can check/search journeys between cities that would be included within the pass. Does anyone have any insights either a) on whether these journeys would be allowed/included? b) where to check? Thanks in advance x

Hi there! I'm going on to the UK/EU from June 10th to July 10th and got the Eurail global pass 2nd class as I'm visiting nine locations (there are two pairs of locations in the same country). I think I've figured out everything that I need to know to make seat reservations but there's still a bit of confusion. I know Eurail is not truly up to date with their timetables, so I'm trying to figure out how to make a seat reservation when Eurail's timetable doesn't match the official train operator's website. For example, I'm going from Glasgow to London on June 15th, but the timetable for that date won't be available until April 24th, yet, Eurail is showing times for that date. What should I do? Wait until the official tran operator releases their timetable or just book it through Eurail? Many people say don't book through Eurail to get seat reservations and go directly through the train operator. Should I actually follow this practice? Is this recommended just because of the additional fee

Good evening,When I open my mobile pass ticket, in the top right corner, there is an active timer ticking away. What is this timer for. Kind regards Adam.

I want to travel from Ravenna to Venice on Saturday June 15th.  We travel to Ravenna from Florence on the previous Saturday to take a cruise, and we are staying for two days following the cruise in Venice.  I was able to finalize all other train travel throughout Italy about a month ago, but this particular train is only showing a 6 a.m. departure from Ravenna on this date (and this is too early as we won’t have disembarked from the ship at that time).  I’ve been checking this route everyday for the last month and thought more times might become available today, 2 months out, but still nothing. Does anyone know why this might be?  Any assistance is appreciated.  thanks.

Hello We are looking for some ideas for traveling thru Italy relying on Eurail system for transportation in Late September thru October 2024 We will be traveling for about (4) weeks, we are planning to land in Rome spending time there, then heading south along the Amalfi coast visiting different towns along the way, heading down the west coast to Sicily. And then spending a couple of weeks in Sicily traveling and visiting the island. Wanted to know the reliability of the trains, How convenient is this idea to getting around, how does the train system and public transportation work in the outlying city's and how does and which Eurail pass works when using between the (2) months of our travel for a (4)-week visitThanks Joe & Tina

I’m trying to make my first journey since using my pass for my outbound journey, so I know the app works. I can see my planned journey and have got the little yellow icons showing. It says that it’s been saved to my pass, but when I open it there’s nothing there. Any idea what’s going on?

I’m considering a long trip on an interrail starting in Edinburgh in the morning and ending up getting the sleeper from London Paddington to Penzance that same night.I’m intending to do this using only 1 day of a 4 day pass on the basis that the sleeper departs at 23:45 UTC, but from what I have seen mentioned here before is that the cut-off for a new day is 00:00 CET, which is 23:00 UTC.I don’t want to find out the hard way that this will cost me 2 days travel. Is there any way to know for sure that it will only take 1 day and not have to worry about what happens on the day? Thanks,z

Hey all. I need to get from Paris to Athens in about ten days in June. Most of the other topics here detailed that it could be difficult to move around by train in those countries south of Croatia. I’d love to see Switzerland but that’s really my only true hard set desire in this trip. I was curious, as a first timer, to see what you all think on how you all think i could make this trip happen best in terms of ease in travel and access, as well as somewhat cheaper locations for this trip. (Yes, I know Switzerland doesn’t fall on the cheap side of things.) Thanks!

Hello everyone!I would like to take a trip from Paris to Sicily. I don't understand how to do this with Interrail, especially since I would like to take a night train part of the way between Naples and Sicily, to Catania in particular. As far as I understand from Interrail, they have a connection between Naples and Catania. I would also like to take the return trip from Sicily to Paris.I have done some research and there is a train that detaches once you arrive at Villa San Giovanni/Messina.

I have made this exact journey before and then I had no problems with this at all, but now i cant book either of them. On the intterail site I almost cannot book it and on the renfe and tgv site i cannot find an option for an interrail pass. can anyone help me?

Hello, I haven’t bought an interrail ticket yet, but I want to buy it for 4 days for all countries, but I’m not clear about reserving seats, please helpI'm traveling from Wroclaw to Verona (Italy), but I can't book train seats through OBB TicketsIt is possible to book from Wroclaw to Vienna, and then from Vienna to Verona, this is my first time traveling using such a system, it’s cheaper, but of course almost nothing is clearI want to leave at 3:24 and arrive at about 19:00, but the problem is that it also asks to get a printed ticket in Austria, how to do this?i have 16 years old

HiI have never bought an interrail pass before, and before I do I want to ask, can I travel out from London to Europe? We are looking at starting and ending our trip in London, and travelling to Austria with stops mid journey there and back, in August.I checked the journey planner on the web site and it only gives me the option to travel to other places in the UK if I start in London. I don’t know whether I need a different kind of ticket to travel from London to European countries, so want to make sure I’m doing the right thing before I buy a very expensive ticket!ThanksSian

Hi,Me and my girlfriend have interrail second class global passes and we would want to travel from the Netherlands to Lyon and then towards Bologna and then back from Venice to the Netherlands. On the 25th of July we would want to travel from the Netherlands (Starting station does not matter as we know how we get there :) ) to LyonThen on the 28th of July we would like to go from Lyon to Bologna At last on the 12th of august we would like to go from Venice back to the Netherlands (Between bologna and Venice we travel by car)I did some research on a good route, but trains I chose were now not available anymore, e.g. the TGV 9830 from Bruxelles-midi to Lyon and the route from Geneva to Bologna with EC 39. I am really stunned about this as these options were without many train changes and were relatively cheap. (40 euros in total for both)Therefore I am wondering if someone with experience could maybe help me with a route without many train changes and relatively cheap seat reservations. W

I will have an interrail ticket, will I receive another seat ticket when I make a reservation? Will the conductor ask for two tickets? It is interesting to me

Hello Eurail Community,For 37 days of travel with 11 travel days in Europe, which global pass is better? 1 months option or 2 months option?thanksAlex

Hello, So i want to start travelling with a Global Pass in September, but I dont know when i should buy the Ticket, because i`ll need it for Seat reservations right? But when i buy it, for example in June can i still use it in September? Thanks in Advance.

Does Eurail global pass work for Zermatt to Matterhorn gondolas?

I will be traveling from Waterloo Station to Dorchester South.  The app is not giving me the option of choosing South Western Railway trains. Is the train included in the eurorail pass? I'm not seeing it listed on the website either. Thank you!

Hi Everyone,My fiancé and I are travelling with a 15 day pass and one of the trips is from Nice to Barcelona on July 9th. I believe this trip has 2 stops along the way in Montpellier and Marseille , however, for 2 days now we have been trying to reserve seats and it keeps coming as - not available - as if everything was booked out already. But prior to the 09/04 we couldn’t book because it exceeded the 90 days prior to the travel date and now on that day is all booked? It must be some kind of mistake surely! We have contacted support and we were told to keep trying, so I guess I am reaching out to see if anyone has any suggestions or has had a similar experience that tell me how it was navigated. thank you so much!

Can anyone recommend overnight sleeper trains in Italy? Would like to go from Venice to Naples and then Naples back up to Florence or Milan but  there don’t seem to be many direct overnight trains to these destinations. Do any of you have any experience booking this type of trip?

HiI have a ten-travel-day mobile Interrail pass, and have planned out my itinerary for a journey through France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. I now have all the tickets ready on my mobile phone, and have made the necessary seat reservations (which I know have to be printed out and shown separately).I understand there is no way of backing the e-tickets up to another device for security, but am worried about what happens in the (hopefully unlikely) case that I lose my phone or it gets broken while I am travelling. I have managed to take screengrabs of each of my tickets as shown on my phone, each of which clearly shows the QR Codes for each ticket, and have transferred these to my home desktop computer. If I now print these out, can I use them instead of the tickets on my phone in case of need? Many thanks

I am travelling tomorrow between 2 and 3 pm from Madrid to Granada. Is it okay to activate tomorrow morning? Which that means my month starts tomorrow? Thank you!

Hi Guys, I bought a Eurail Global Pass. I am using a Rail Planner App to book my trips. I noticed there is another app called DB app that can also provide train trip booking. So instead of Rail Planner app, can I use the DB app to book my train trips linking this app to my Eurail Global Pass ? Thank YouJohn

i booked seat reservations for my wife and I using DB app.  We are travelling from Cologne to Brussels.I have an invoice but I have not been issued with a QR code or any way of downloading a ticket. Is this correct?I was not able to create an account on the app but did pay without creating one. Now I find I can’t access the reservations.Could this be because I have booked from UK and can’t get access to the website from here? Will I be able to download the tickets when I am in Germany? What do I present when I try to get on the train? We have global Eurail passes.
