As a first-time user of the Eurail pass, I've already reserved seats through the official Bernina Express website (https://shop.rhb.ch/). I've paid 36 CHF for seat reservations by selecting the 'Eurail pass' reduction option. Interestingly, the website didn't prompt me for my Eurail pass number or any related details; it simply applied the discount Now I believe I already made the seat reservation (selected seat which I want). However, I'm uncertain whether I should also book seats through the Eurail pass website, as it seems to cost an additional 120 EUR. Could you please advise me on whether booking seats through the Eurail pass website is necessary or recommended?

I will be in Europe in 2 weeks. I see only one available train (Paris to Barcelona) that I could purchase a reservation.Given the short time for the post, I was wondering if I could buy the reservation online and then go to a train office (when in Europe) and ask them to print the tickets for me.Thanks,

Hi I’m planning my interrail journey and would like to now how far in advance I should book my seat reservation. I will be visiting big cities like Paris, Barcelona and Milano. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hello all, we’re real excited to take my family of 5 kids to Europe at the end of May.  One problem i’m having is reserving a train from Ravenna Italy to Interlaken Switzerland on June 8th. Looks like major trains from Ravenna go through Milan, so i’m trying to search from Ravenna to Milan but when I don’t get results for any dates past May 1st, does that mean I need to wait longer to book those?I also went to the regional train website : https://www.lefrecce.it/ and can find trains there however I couldn’t figure out how to book a reservation with my Eurailpass - just ability to purchase new tickets.  Any help would be appreciated.thank you,Sam

After weeks of struggling to book and make seat reservations on a two months round Europe 1st class trip for two, I am giving up as, so far, I haven’t been able to leave the UK!!! My 30 years in the travel industry has failed to help me negotiate the incredibly complex booking convolutions. I now find I can’t even negotiate a refund. I am told to log in and go to “my pass” - that option does not appear. Anyone? So disappointed…………..

Is there a link so I can book the seat reservations from Paris Lyon De Gare to Barcelona Sants via SNCF/TGV?

I have 2 x 5 day interrail passes for me and my wife. I’ve reserved seats on a TGV Inoui from Paris to Strasbourg, but I couldn’t find out how to book our bikes onto the train. I know the train has bike spaces, so how do I add these to my seat reservations?

Hello, I have a 10 in 2 months global pass and will only use the outbound journey to leave Germany. With 2-3 days left on my pass I will take a flight back from Barcelona to Berlin. As the inbound journey will not be used with some regular travel days left, could I do another day trip let's say within the same day on another weekend from Berlin to Poland? To Poland early morning, back the same evening, although only inbound is still available

Hello everyone!  I’m from Japan and would like to get your advice for my first trip to North Europe!I’m seeking your advice for transportation especially in Denmark and Norway.  Here are my basic plans for now.  My travel is in June 2024 and about 15 days and thiking to get eurail scandinavia pass for 4 or 5 days. 1. Hello everyone! My husband and I will be traveling for 3 and a half months in Europe arriving by cruise on August 4th to Southampton UK. We'll travel all around the UK for 3 weeks and then we are planning on taking the Eurostar to Amsterdam and spend the next 3 months visiting the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and back to Southampton by mid November. We bought the 3 months in a row Eurail Global pass but since it doesn't cover the whole time we are going to be there, I'm wondering when would be more convenient to activate it? Right after getting there and using it in the UK? (We bought first class and I read that UK is the best country to take advantage of it) or use it on time to take advantage of the 2 Eurostar trips (back and forth) I'm trying to make numbers and it seems that going from Italy to London it's going to be expensive so probably it’s wiser to use the Global pass for that trip? This will be our first time in Europe so we’d really appreciate any a

I’m planning out my trip for March 24 and have managed to book seat reservation on all trains except AVI 9725 from Madrid to Narbonne in France. I am told a seat reservation is required but that it cannot be booked on the interrail websiteNot available from Interrail.euThis seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.I have accommodation in Narbonne that can only be cancelled 2 weeks before the journey starts so I’m a little nervous not getting my seat reservation before then.Any ideas on how I can reserve seats before I start my trip?

Every time I get to the checkout it says that something went wrong... this app and website is terrible..  Am I booking too early? We are trying to book for early June. WE already bought a 15 day pass (first class).

I have two days left on my interrail and have used bioth my inbound and outbound days to the UK.If I want to go to Paris, I understand that I have to get myself to St Pancras. But can I use my remaining day on the Eurostar. I know that I will pass UK border control before boarding the train, so technically the train is not in the UK, but what are the interrail rules? Is there a definitive answer?

Hi fellow Travellers! Please help me out, as I am coming from Australia and want to make this Christmas perfect for my little one.I also want to hurry up and buy the accommodation but am yet to know how best to get there. So far my Europe trip is - From London train to Paris train to Amsterdam - fly Finland and train up and back to Rovaniemi then fly back from Helsinki to London. Thanks All, Cara

We will be traveling 14 days while in Italy.  for 7 days we will be traveling the train from Cortona to Florence each day.  So we will need to have use of the pass for 14 days.  When I try to pick a pass it tells me 4 days in a month.  I want access to the trains for 12 days.  Can you still reserve seats and book train rides in advance with a Eurail Pass?Venice to Florence one dayFlorence to Cortona 8 daysCortona to Florence 8 daysCortona to Rome 3 days

Hi,I’am planning to visit University of Coimbra and would like to know whether there are luggage lockers at Coimbra-A station.

Hi All - I am planning on taking a first time interrail trip with my two boys. The aim is to go at the end of may/start of june for anywhere between 10-14 days. We live in Dublin. I’ve never done this before so am completely unsure of what is involved, what to book, how to book etc.My plan is to try to go from Dublin > Paris > Munich > Rome > Paris > Dublin.I wouldn’t mind altering/simplifying this route/plan slightly based on other suggestions!Happy to do this on a budget / cost effective way as it’s about going on a little adventure. For example I think we could stay in family room hostel in each location for 1-2 nights? I also think we could reserve space on overnight train to free up daytime?Would appreciate suggestions for this from more experienced travellers! :)

Hi 😀I have interrail global pass, and want to like to do a reservation for AVI 9742 from LYON PART DIEU (2:30pm) - Barcelona Sants (7:32pm). I get over the interrail seat reservation this error message: “It seems no price offer is available right now. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation, or buy a separate full fare ticket to board. You need to buy a seat reservation to board.”So i called SNCF and they said to me, this train doesn’t exist, so it’s an failure from interrail website. Could somebody confirm that to me? That i would look after a different connection.  More background information why this train: So I will start the trip in Munich, and want to be before 9pm in Barcelona. so I found the connection (5am start in munich - 7:32pm arrival in barcelona) Thanks for you help! Patrick

Hi ! Need some help pleaseWe have 4 days on our global pass. We are going to Slovenia, by only using 2 trips, from Paris to ljubljana and then ljubljana to Paris. That means we have two more days of travelling available. And we wanted to go to Barcelona during the month our pass is activated with the 2 remaining days of our Global pass. Is it possible to do Paris - Barcelona and Barcelona- Paris , or does the pass only accept one inbound/outbound trip, so that means that we are obligated to use our 2 remaining daytrips outside of France ? Thank you ! Manon

Trying to book Geneva to Milan for 23/6 with Eurail pass directly with OBB, can see there are direct trains until 8/6 but none beyond this and haven’t been for some time. Have also tried domodossola. Will these be released at a later time?

HI All, We recently joined and are looking at buying a 10 day pass. We plan to travel to three countries in May over 10 days. How do we book a train from London to Paris using our Euro global pass? I jumped on the eurostar but its charging me the normal fare? There isnt anything on their website that offers a discount for global pass holders. We then want to book regional trains from Paris to Bordeaux and San Sebastian.. How do we go about doing that? using our global pass.

When trying to get seat reservations for London-Edinburgh Eurail indicates that I need to get those through the rail carrier. Eurail says the carrier is “East Coast (GR)“ but I don’t know what railway company this is. In Eurail’s list of companies in Great Britain, with links to their sites, there is nothing that resembles this. I am assuming it is the LNER as they run most of the east coast trains. Does anyone know what the carriers are that match Eurail’s reference?

Looking at travelling between Amsterdam and Dusseldorf on ICE international, 6th April. The interrail planner says I need a supplement, where do I buy this from?
