Hello, I will be traveling from Florence, Italy to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona.  I have 6 days in which to do this and would like to take the train.  I was looking at the Eurail 7 day pass.  Would this be the best option for me and my parents?  Not sure how long a trip from Florence to Paris, then from Paris to Barcelona by trian.  Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello, I will be traveling from Florence to Zurich.  Then Zurich to Paris, and finally from Paris to Barcelona the week of May 4, 2024.  Can anyone tell me the best way to purchase tickets on Eurail?  Do I need a global pass?  It seems a bit expensive.

I am a holder of a 1st class global pass. Unfortunately all 1st class seats are fully booked. NowI would like to book a 2nd class seat.On Eurostar trains, the system shows that reservations are available for a 2n class price. But when I click, it shows no seats available. On dates where 1st class is available, I can chose bothI guess, the system shows only options for 1st class. How can I tune that I also can book 2nd class when 1st class is not available on this train.(Yes, I know that I can sit in 2nd class with a first class ticket). I just can’t figure it out in the online reservation tool

Dans mon trajet, j'ai seulement 7 minutes pour changer de train à Zurich. Je suppose que c'est mission impossible ? Si je rate la correspondance,  quelles sont les conditions pour prendre le suivant ? Merci!

HI,This is our itinerary for a family of 3 adults and a child.Aug 11: Geneva-Interlaken Aug 12: Interlaken -ZurichAug 14: Zurich -SalzburgAug 16: Salzburg-VIennaAug 19: Vienna -Prague4 questions:Is a 7 day Eu-rail the right choice or something less is possible? Best option for Jungfraujoch -is that train from Interlaken and is this covered by Eurail pass? Is reservation necessary on any route during this time which is peak summer? Wondering if a rental car is an option on any part of this itinerary for more flexibility. I suspect eurail pass will be less expensive but please suggest.

Hi,      We are travelling from London to Paris to Ben to Zurich. I think a 7 day EURAIL pass would be sufficient as we are leaving from London to Paris on 8/19/24 and our from there going to Bern and from Bern to Zurich on 8/25/23. Does the Eurail pass work within Paris or Bern or Zurich or can this only be used for travel between these cities ? Is it better to just get a 7 day pass oe buy individual tickets from each of these cities (London to Paris, Paris to Bern and Bern to Zurich) ? Thank you!

I was going to take the train from Oslo to Stockholm on March 23.I had reserved and paid for my hotel in advance for my stay in Stockholm. Everything seemed fine, but when I arrived at the platform, I find out that the train would be 160 minutes delay.Since it was cold, I wanted to wait at the station instead of waiting on the platform. I didn't leave the station for 2 hours. When I went to the platform again 2 hours later, I could not see any information about the Stockholm train.Since it was late, the information desk was closed, so I went to the security guard and asked about the situation. The officer said that a lot of people like me had the same problem and that they did not know what happened to the train. After waiting for about 1 more hour, we learned that the train arrived early and left without any information. This train was the last train to Stockholm for 23 March. So there was no other train I could take and I was stranded in Oslo. Also, since I couldn't go to Stockholm, I c

Hi everyone!Tom here from USA.Looking for some advice for a 2-week train itinerary from Istanbul to Berne in April. My wife and I have purchased EUrail passes for the trip. We're looking for a mix of sleeper trains and brief hotel stays in various cities. What are the “must-visit” cities? What is the recommended route? Where are the recommended overnight hotel stays? What are the recommended sleeper trains? Are there any planned track outages we should avoid? Thanks in advance!

Hello,I would like to travel from Oslo to Bergen using a night train then go back towards Oslo while visiting the other train stops between Bergen and Oslo. Hello,  I’d like to buy a pass reservation for a TGV train from Paris to Forbach. Unfortunately, for our train SNCF claims that all seats are booked. Strange to say that for the same train it’s possible to book seats from Paris to Saarbrücken, but not for the shorter trip to Forbach. However, this would change our trip to be an international trip and to consume a home country day of our pass in germany which we don’t have available. Would it work to get a pass reservation to Saarbrücken and use our pass only for the way to Forbach, so no home country day would be used? It’s even bad enough that reservation fee goes up from 10€ to 18€ due to this-

Using Eurail to book Bernina Express (train PE 952) reserved seats apparently costs $15 (USD).  But booking reserves seats on the same train thru the Rhätische Bahn website  www.rhb.ch costs CHF 26 ($28.87 USD).  Is this correct??Will Rhätische Bahn (Bernina Express) honor the Eurail-booked seat reservation?

Hello everyoneI would like to book the night train from Stockholm to Berlin. The travel date is July 12th and I would like to make a reservation now as the European Championships are taking place in Berlin at the same time. However, when I try to do this via the Interrail website, I get the following error message: Prices not availableNo results were found. Reservations for this connection may be sold out for Pass holders. However, there are other ways to find available seats. You can find more information under our timetable. The sj website also says not available when booking. Am I too early with my booking or is there another problem?

Hello,I'm contacting you because I have a Global Interrail pass and I'd like to take a train journey from Athens to Patras. This journey is included in the pass, but when I book (seat reservations are compulsory), by clicking on "when and how to book", Interrail suggests that I visit these websites: superfast ferries, anek lines, hellenic seaways.Do you know on which site I can book my journey with the Interrail discount? Also, do you know when bookings will open for this route in August?Thank you

Hello,I'm looking at the routes from Athens to Kiato by train (with the interrail pass). When I add the train in the Rail Planner application, I realise that I can't book the ticket, it only says "no reservation" when I click on "show services".Does this mean that I don't need to book a ticket and simply activate it as a journey on the application? Thanks in advance

Hi,I try to book a seat reservation from Homburg HBF (Saar) to Vienna HBF for the 20 June, but there is no 1st Class seat reservation shown for ICE 563 Homburg-Munich, but 1st and 2nd class reservation on the Munich to Vienna leg.Could it be that the Homburg to Munich ICE has only second Class and no first class, or is first class already booked out. When I go to www.raileurope.com, it only shows no seat reservation required but I am unable to book a seat reservation. Is there a website which shows the trains aND WHAT CLASSES THEY HAVE?Regards,Horst
