Hi fellow traintakers, I have an itinerary made for a trip to Italy, but was wondering how many travel days I will need since it includes night trains. 31st of March: Ghent to Munich31st of March to 1st of April: Munich to La Spezia nighttrain 11th of April to 12th of April: La Spezia to Munich nighttrain12th of April: Munich to Ghent Is this three or four travel days? Could I still make a trip from Ghent to Berlin with the same pass (which includes 4 travel days in total). Thank you!

I came to sweden as student and wanted to visit other european countries for holiday. can someone suggest me which pass to take as i have swedish resident permit card too.

Hi everyone. Next month I am planning on travelling during weekends, and I was thinking of buying a 7 days interrail pass instead of buying single train tickets. My idea is to travel to Italy, then go back home. The following weekend traveling to the Netherlands, then be back again, and the weekend after again traveling to Berlin and back. Can I do that? Or does it need to be a continuous trip? Thanks in advance!

Hi, we're a family with 2 adults and 2 kids of 4,5 years old. We're traveling with second class interrail tickets. We're taking the night train from Cerbère to Paris in April. Yesterday I bought our seat reservations asking for a 4-berth couchette in order to  not disturb other travelers. The person selling us the tickets didn't ask any questions and sold us couchette places in a 4 person couchette. Checking the tickets afterwards, I saw that it's a first class couchette while we only have second class interrail. Would this cause any problems? If so, can I still change these tickets to a 6 person couchette? Thanks a lot.Hannah

Hi,Is seat reservation with Rail Europe more expensive (additional charges) than eurail if you have a eurail pass?Horst

Hi. I purchased 2 global passes but forgot to add my children. I wanted to exchange (read the policy) it said I had to ask for a refund first which I did and they just said accepted. But I don’t want to loose the any money, I just wanted to exchange to put my children on them and pay the $15 euro. Now what do I do?? Is there anything I can do?it said I had to ask for a refund but then I got an email saying accepted. I thought it would take me to another option to exchange help! Aussie who has never used these before

My partner has both of the passes on his iPad. We want to transfer them both to my phone. I read somewhere that you can only transfer passes once. Is this the case?

I’m going to the Olympics through July 24 to Aug 12 I’ll be traveling to Lille for basketballs games and I want to go to London between these days and visit some castles in France. which train pass should I buy? The Global Pass or Eurail pass only? Is it worth it going to London to reserve first class seats? Please help me first time using the Train Passes, but I don’t know which one to buy thanks 😊

Hi Please can someone help me. I can’t seem to find the train departures from Madrid to Oviedo and between Ferrol to Porto. I have an interrail global pass but the train times aren’t showing in the journey planner. I’ve heard things about Renfe but what can I do? I’m going end of April 2024. Have Renfe not released the tickets yet and if so when will I know? thanks Will

I’m new to Eurail so apologies for my knowledge not being up to scratch.I hold a Eurail 2nd Class Global Pass and looked to make a seat reservation on this route for upcoming July. The Eurail site indicates reservations are not available until 90 days prior yet they seem to already be for sale on Rail Europe website. However the pass is not eligible for the direct route - is this because it is 2nd Class? Can I only use it on the train with a change in Narbonne? Also, in this situation where seats are for sale but not open to passholders, is there a risk that passholders could miss out on a seat, or are a certain number of seats reserved for passholders. Thanks!

Hello,i have trouble understanding the travelling from my home country (I’m from France) for example, if I’m doing France-amsterdam-Berlin-Prague-France will it deduce 4 travels days from my pass or only 2 (it says you can have 2 travel day from your home country)thanks for your help:)

So i have a 7 day pass valid for 30 days. I have planned and created my trip but havent yet activated the pass. My question isIf i activate the pass the night before first day of travel and connect it to the trip, am i then allowed to change the trip for following days. For example, on day 1 i travel to interlaken and as per my trip i plan on going to Lucerne on day 2 which is what i have planned on my trip. Can i change my mind and go on day 3 instead? When i say days i mean just days and not travel days.Trying to understand if i can chabge my trip after travelling the first day. Hope that makes sense.  I want to be able to have tbe freedom to decide based on weather etc if we do day 2 travel day as per planned trip or can that be changed. Thanks

Hi Community. We are Eurail 1st Global Pass holders and seniors. We are travelling from Zurich and would like to travel by night train to Prague. I have read on the Community page that the night train will not run from late June. The message we receive for the 22 enquiry is :There are no direct night train connections for the selected route on your desired travel date. I have looked at alternative dates and get the same response. Ideally we would like to take the 50467 sleeper train departing at 20:40. There are no options available. Are we doing something wrong? Or is this connection no longer running? I have contacted OBB but have not yet received a response. Once again, thank you in advance for your input.

I see other questions answered as tap on + sign on my pass page. But I don’t see + sign at all

Hi, I am looking at a journey from Salzburg to Bad Goisern in July. It gives me different times on DB app and OBB app. Maybe it’s a little too far in advance, but which would be the best app to confirm times closer to tne time? Many thanks

I cannot pay for seat reservations as my payment cards are not accepted. I use a Mastercard. Any ideas as to a resolution?

As I don't want to travel alone, I'm looking for a travel buddy.I want to visit Eastern Europe such like Slovenia, Croatia and Greece but I'm also open for other destinations :)If you're interested, you can text me here or on Instagram: mafa1154. I can speak German, English, French and Spain, so I think communication won't be hard.

This will be my first time traveling to France from Canada. Wanting to avoid flying with Boeing at this time, I am exploring other ways to approach my destination of Paris. One flight route could land us in Dublin. Is it viable for 2 active Seniors to take the train(s) from Dublin to England, through the Chunnel to Paris?
