Hello,I am trying to book seat reservations via oebb.at (as recommended in this community) for traveling in and out of Italy. The trip is on 20-04-2024 from Florence to Lugano. I am trying to book FR9504 from Florence SMN to Milano Centrale, departing at 6:55. And EC316 from Milano to Lugano, departing at 9:10 from Milano Centrale. However, via the OEBB site the seat reservations cannot be booked. What is going wrong? Should I just book them via Interrail reservation tool?Kind regards,Daniël

Hi, I am trying to make a reservation on a domestic greek ferry. The last years, I have made it through email, but this year they want me to do it online. They want me to enter my activated pass cover number. I have tried to explain, that I have a paper pass. They don't seem to understand me, and asking for the same activated number. Anyone know if it not possible to use the paper pass anymore, to get the discount? Eurail/Interrail: it is mandatory to insert the activated Pass Cover Number during the booking process.  This is from the web site. Nothing about paper passes.  Regards Karina

Hello,I want to make reservations for TGV in France and Eurostar from Paris to Amsterdam.I’ve seen that the Eurostar can be booked through the website of the SNCB but unfortunaly TGV can’t be and it is not possible on the website of the SNCF neither. But I’ve seen that both can be booked through RailEurope but I wanted to be sure I could trust the website since it is not from any national carrier and that I will not have tickets that are not valid when I board the train or something like that. Does anyone have ever used this website ? And additionnaly do they charge a booking fee and how much ?Thank you very much

Hello,I have a question about the ferry journey from Patras to Bari.I'd like to know if this journey is included in the Interrail Global Pass.Thank you in advance.

My husband & I are travelling within the UK as well as Italy & Switzerland on a 15 day Flexible Global Pass. Can this Pass be used everywhere in the UK?

hello! We would do a interrail family from Rome (Italy) to Sweden, with stops in Munich, Copenaghen, Malmo, Stockholm, and back. We would use a night train from Rome to Munich, and from Munich to Copenhaghen. But I can’t unterstand if night trains costs are included in Interrail family ticket or not, (in this case the amount of the difference to pay), and how we can book reservations, having children..Thank you very much!

Hello,I’m planning an interrail trip with my friends this summer and we would like to take the nighjet train from Paris to Vienna, but seat reservations seem to be only availble until may. Does someone know how many months in advance the reservations for nightjet usually open ?Thank you

Hallo, wenn in der Verbindung von München nach Bologna ein Zuschlag anfällt und eine Sitzplatzreservierung empfohlen wird. Wo kann ich diese buchen bzw. sehen wie hoch die sind?

Hi all,Planning a trip from Finland to southern France and back next October as a family of 4. I got the impression that separate train tickets bought well in advance might end up being cheaper than the global pass. But interrailing last summer to Italy and back we found that quite a few of the trains that we took were delayed. My question now is, what happens if we have bought separate tickets and one or more of our trains are delayed so that we won't be able to make the next connection? I understand that the global pass is considered a through ticket so we would be booked for the next available train, but if we have separate tickets do we need to buy new ones ourselves? Any other thoughts on the matter are also welcome 😊

I found a trip on my app, saved it but I don’t see it appear when I log in to the web version. I don’t get the same trip in the web version. Why is that? Are the things you fill in on the phone app synced or stored in ones account?

I want to interrail with my friends and apply for the free pass. However, it seems that, in order to apply, we need to have 18 years old in the first semester of the year. Only I will have 18. What does this mean?? Will it be impossible? This rule just seems weird .

Hey, me and a group of 18 others are planning a trip to Slovenia from Brussels. We were thinking of using interrail but still aren't sure if it is the cheapest option. We would like to use the national train and bus system as well and maybe even venture out to Croatia. Anyone has experience with this?Thank-you

Can I use the eurail global pass for the Gotthard Express and the Volarpen Express Trains in Switzerland?

Hello, my girlfriend and I want to go from Stockholm to Goteborg in August this year (August 15th). We have already booked the Interrail ticket, but it is not possible to book a reservation for any train. The latest train where I could book a reservation would be on June 3rd. Starting with June 4th, I cannot find any single train on any date where I could book a reservation. Is every single reservation after June 3rd outbooked, or can I only try to book the reservation like 3 months before the trip (like in Germany) or so? Thank you in advance for all answers (and sorry if my english is not the best ;) )!

My Interrail route is going to be Vienna-Venice-Milano-Nice-Montpellier-Barcelona-Valencia-Madrid. is this route going to be 6 or 7 travel days?  thanks for the help

My friend and I both have 1st class Eurail passes. I am very confused as what these cabin reservations mean?Is it one single cabin for the both of us?Is it a 1st class single cabin each? What is the difference between the two?Is it actually direct an I also looked on another site and the exact same train journey has a 40 minute connection? (I don’t know if this is the ferry?) Advice would be greatly appreciated I just don’t want to make a mistake! Thanks :)

How do you book flam rail tickets using eurail discount?

hiWe are only planning on taking 2 trains in August 2024 so not sure if it is worth getting a Eurail card. the trains we are taking are: from Paris to Amsterdam and would like to take the fast 3 hr 20 min  Eurostar bullet which would cost extra if we get the eurail card and sounds like it might be complicated to make sure we get the time we want (I believe it is about 32/37 euros more on top of the eurail card but not sure how easy it will be to get the day and time we want etc). The eurostar ticket if bought separately is anywhere from $158 the cheapest to about $300 so its expensive And from Amsterdam to Berlin on the direct ICE high speed train. This I can get for about $115 cheapest for times and day I want to goIs it worth getting the eurail card or shall we just purchase two separate tickets? Thanks

Hello everyone! Although I've seen tons of videos on how to use the Railplanner app and Eurorail website so I'm still getting the confidence around it, I still don't quite get how to make the reservations and when I should  activate the pass. I bought a 5 days Global Pass.here's my itinerary for now:April 13th - From London to Paris @3:30PMApril 16th - From Paris to Bern,Switzerland @10AM**We'll be visiting a few destinations within Switzerland with trains also.**April 18Th - From Bern to Geneva. Questions:Few websites including Eurorail guide says that reservations should be bought somewhere else, not directly with Eurorail but with the train companies directly. Website does give you the option to buy them though. Furthermore, it says that train times are not updated fast enough to be accurate. Please explain this. When exactly you should activate the pass and what if I miss a train or for some other reason I dont board the reserved seat, what should I do? What to do when not travelli
