Solved

Hey there,I am trying to book a train from LISBON - SANTA APOLONIA (Portugal) to PORTO - CAMPANHA (Portugal).  When I enter the relevant details on the interrail planner I get the following. There is no relevant information on the more information.  So I assume I need to book directly from CP - Comboios de Portugal.  But when I try and book there, it is full price.  I couldn’t see anything that said I just need to reserve a seat.  If that is the case, then why do I need a Eurorail pass?  I have Eurorail global passMaybe I missed a step, can someone help please? Thanks in advance

Hi Community. We are thinking of taking the night train to Zagreb in late May this year. I have read on this forum that I should book the sleeping car using tickets.oebb.at. Is this the best option? Would appreciate input re Zagreb as we have never been to Croatia. Was thinking of taking the train to Split. Not sure of what to do next. As always, would appreciate your advice.

I would like to purchase a 10 day in 2 months Eurail Global Flexipass for travel between May 30 and July 10.  Total duration of travel is 42 days but my travel occurs in three months (May, June, and July).  Will a 10 day in 2 month pass cover 10 days of travel in the period?

During my trip to the Greek islands I want to go from Santorini to Heraklion, in the app there is no possibility, but when I book seats on the website yes, will there be any problem afterwards? Or can I only reserve seats on the ferries that appear in the app?

No tickets available for night trains from Bologna to Munich after 8th of june. I can now see the departure in august, but no tickets available. I have checked other days/weeks and still no tickets. It is hard to believe all tickets are sold out, but isn't time to be able to book for beginning of august? Regards Karina

Hello,Looking for some advice on this as we are from the USA and do not have experience with Eurail or Interrail. This coming August we are looking to take our family of 6 people (2 adults and 16, 11, 11, 6) to a UK/France/maybe Belgium trip.If we bought a Eurail Global pass is there a way to get from Central London area to Stafford, UK?? When I enter this on the Eurail planning tool, Stafford does not come up on the tool. Perhaps some of you know how to get around this and book it.Ideally we would want to use this Eurail Global pass to get from London to Stafford, back to London on a later day. Then other travel days from London to Brussels, then to Paris, and maybe then to Versailles and back. Only the Versailles would be the same day there and back and we would be spending overnights in the other destinations. I figure a 4-5 day travel pass should be adequate and probably worth it.Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

We are 2 female seniors traveling from Prague to Budapest and Budapest to Paris on overnight sleeper trains. These two trips are spaced about a week apart, in August and September 2024. We will have  global eurail passes. Where are on the reservation form (trainline.com) do we add the eurail passes?  Thanks in advance.

Im totally new to this and would appreciate some help! :) Just bought Interrail pass 2nd class for me and my 2 teenagers. I would like to know if anyone knows:Barcelona to Lourdes, 4th of AugustAre their trains on the route I have in the map? What is the most beautiful way to go there by train, interesting nature and mountains? What is the cheapest way to go there by train and only spend 1 day? Is it too early to book tickets for travel in August now? When I search I cant seem to find that many trains, sometimes no at all. But if I search for April/May there is trains.  Marseille - Tirano, 9th of AugustCheapest and fastest train to travel this day from Marseille in France to Tirano in Italy? It seems to be difficult when I look. :) Is it possible to do it in one day?

Hi all, I'm trying to make a reservation and have added a trip but when I add a traveller I get an error message saying the details don't match?

I am trying to book my train from Munich to rome via the interrial app, but it says that the trip is not included in the italy pass. After a bit of looking I also see that I need a supplement. I have been trying to figure out how to get one, but I just dont seem to get it. Can someone please help me figure this out?!

We are a couple that are planning to do a trip around Europe with our puppy, even if he is a young puppy, he will not be able to travel as a "luggage" due to size. Are there any countries we should avoid? Which countries are best for traveling with a pet? We dont mind paying, we just want it to be as hassle free as possible.

I understand that the German Rail Pass covers trains from Munich to Salzburg, but does it also cover trains from Salzburg to Munich? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but the pass only shows trains TO Salzburg from Munich and not the other way round. Thanks!

i won an interrail global pass last year and want to use it this summer. My boyfriend would like to visit greece and the islands. But the ferries aren‘t included in the global pass. There is a special pass for the ferries for the islands and I would like to know, if it‘s possible to change the global pass into one of the ferrie ones?

HI my family will be traveling to Europe this summer July 23-Aug 13th.  We would love to hit all three countries France, Italy and Switzerland and do it all by train.  Has anyone experienced a three week trip all by train with the family.  Where should we start and end?  How do we pick and choose what destinations in each country?  We definitely want to explore some of the beautiful places in nature and mountains as well.  I am grateful for any feedback or layout you suggest.

Hi allWoild anyone know if there is a “lost & found” contact (email) for the Italian rail company which I can approach for help. I lost my Apple AirPod Pro on 26 February. I think I must have misplaced it around Tirano. The last time I used the AirPod was during travel on Bernina Express on the day.  I only realized tthat I lost it today when I have flown out of Italy already. We travelled on Bernina Express from Chur to Tirano on 26 February.   On the same say, from Tirano we travelled to Milan on a train that departed on around 1:40 pm (it was supposed to leave around 1:08pm but got delayed)

Soy de Costa Rica. Tiene contactos de personas que realicen tours en Tren en Europa. Gracias

Hello, does a Seat reservation really cost 15€/train in Italy?

I have several train journeys planned in June and July, through Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech republic. Most of the trips which include train changes, are shown on the journey planner, can I assume one ticket for these. I have had to add some manually, one especially involves 4 trains. Do I have to add each train separately, so they can be activated on the day

In august I am planning a trip with 11 years old son. I am not experienced with Eurail pass and now try to compare what is cheaper for us - Eurail or regular tickets. Lets say our route is the following: Lisbon - PortoToulouse - MontpellierMontpellier - MarseilleMarseille - NiceEURAIL PASS. 4 days global pass for adult is 181 EUR (including spring discount) and free of charge for my son. But then as I understand we will need at least 4 days x 2 people x 12 EUR = 96 EUR for seat reservations. Do I correctly understand it? If yes, then the totals for us for this route would be close to 300 EUR. SEPARATE TICKETS. If we purchase separate tickets directly, it will cost us approx. 80+45+45+60=231 EUR.From these calculations it seems that Eurail pass is not a good option for our trip. Is it really so or maybe I miss to understand something about this pass? Maybe our one day transfers are too short for it t pay off?

I work in France  and have been living in france from last 5 years but I am not a European citizen . Which Pass should I buy . Is it Eurail or interrail Pass ?

Hello, When I try to search direct train from Brussel to Munich it is showing OBB train which required seat reservation. But when click on reservation using Eurail pass it is not showing price and can’t reserve it even from OBB website as it shows No offers available in OBB website. I tried it to book for 27th Apr. also check for mid of Mar which is next week but it shows same. Please help me to understand why it is showing as reservation required with price as NA and we can’t reserve online?
